We were strolling around Sunway Pyramid and notice this stall that is selling canvas with lines available for colouring.
The staff was so friendly to introduce us all the available canvas, they are ranging from famous cities view to anime, celebrities, cartoon to super heroes comic!
Thought that this is quite a suitable stall for family with kids.

Passed by this cute stall full of portrait is really something that had us stop by and had a second look.
There are some famous people portrait here as well. We notice the artist was drawing a portrait of a baby while we are looking around.
If you wish to have one, either personal ones or family ones also available here. This stall is just right next to the ice rink in Sunway Pyramid.

Mookata (mu kratha) is a style of cooking originally from Thailand which means ‘pan pork’. It resembles a Korean barbecue style with a Japanese and Chinese hotpot around the grilling pan. I enjoyed it so much that the meat have a good layer/ combination of the meat and pork which makes it very juicy and flavourful instead of tasting dry. The vegetables I had gotten was fresh and really help in balancing the taste of the fats from the meat. Apart of getting a set of this mookata, you can also add on some other dishes or just simply had normal set of dish and rice. Their roasted pork with rice is good as well. Take note that it is a non-halal restaurant and they serve alcohol as well.

Feeling like a kid again while in sunway. With 6 themes such water park, Xpark, Scream park, Wildlife park, Amusement park, & Sunway Lost Lagoon, each of it has it’s own character that you should explore. I especially love the scream park and the xpark as I am both adventerous and like to see to which limit I’ll go to challenge myself. In the weekend, it can be pricey up to Rm170 (standard ticket). I have to rent a locker for my stuff as I need more items prepared for the water park. Rent of locker for luggage are up to Rm50 and the standard one is Rm25. Waiting for each games can be longer than 30 minutes especially in the weekend.

Hidden Gem Japanese Food in Subang Jaya

This small little restaurant serves one of the best Japanese fusion dishes in KL, it’s affordable and quality. The place looks Japanese modern style, good clean environment with friendly staff that coming over to recommend those delicious signature menu of theirs. Their sushi are also affordable ranged from rm1.90 for a plate. They also have bento, donburi, sashimi, ramen and more!
For us, we got to try out their salmon mentai, the sauce is so good and salmon is fresh! Next up, we got their signatures, a seared salmon donburi and a cheesy hamburger donburi. The salmon was delicious and rich in flavour. The cheesy patty is very thick and creamy. Both are covered in sauce and give it a rich texture, makes you craving for more.

New healthy food spot found in Subang Jaya
Recently my partner and I decided to keep an eye on our diet and try to eat clean, so we found a good spot for that in Da Men shopping mall. Cauli & Rice is located at the food arcade area, it serves delicious healthy rice bowls at an affordable price and good portion. They are specialized in making “caulirice” which is rice made of cauliflowers. It’s filled with veggies and meat with an option of choosing fried rice / caulirice/ mixed of both. They also have a variety of vegan options, perfect for vegans to enjoy.
We ordered 2 bowls, a tomyam fried rice and a garlic protein bowl, it’s less oily and still tasted delicious, it’s filled with a lot of different kinds of veggies, chickens and shrimp are tasty! We also got a hashbrown with scramble eggs and cauli pancake, it was so delicious!
Now everyone can enjoy a healthy cooked meal without paying a high price. If you are very particular about calorie intake, there’s also an indicator of how much calorie in each bowl.

Spot this trending and affordable ramen shop in social media and starts from RM8.90 with quality ramen and ingredients. We decided to give it a go!
The place give us the modern Japanese vibes with Japanese wallpapers and lanterns around, it’s a bit funky and hipster style of a setting. The place served a few types of soup: spicy/kuro/miso and also a few donburi options, as well as other side dishes to enjoy.
We got their house signatures, a kurogoma ramen which is black sesame-pork based, it’s very rich and thicker taste, 4/5. And up next we got a miso ramen which is very light and filled with miso paste, it’s really good and we love it a lot, 5/5.

Visited Subang Parade Mall KL Malaysia and went to Dave’s Deli for lunch. This is a chain cafe serving localize western food. Basically the decorations of the eatery is fine and you have to purchase your food at the counter but it will be served to you once ready. The serving staffs were polite and provided good services. Tried their Hainanese chicken chop and it was good especially the sauce on the chicken rice. This place is recommended and value for money too.

This is amazing restaurant with nice decorations and the food menu is even better, they are famous for their pies but they also offer fusion food like india curry, western, Mexican etc. This is a definitely must visit restaurant when you are in Sunway Pyramid mall. A Hidden Cafe in Sunway Pyramid
This cafe is also known as the “Otaku” Cafe because of its interior designs, it’s a modern Japanese cafe that is specialized in coffee and Matcha, hidden in a store of a shopping mall. It’s called No Nonsense Coffee, it has a chilling setting with the coolest vibes, a lot of anime figurines displayed around the place and even mangas that anime lovers can enjoy while sipping their drinks.
Their matcha is really good, fine bitter taste but sweet at the same time. They also sell some cute pastries as well if you have some cravings for food.
The cafe is actually hidden in a Japanese fashion store that sells stylish streetwear and shoes, make sure to stop and look around for the whole Japan experiences.

With over 6 parks to explore with only one ticket, the park is huge to explore and highly recommended for couples and families, lots of food options in the park too so not to worry!
Tip: do remember to leave the park earlier if you intend to shower, there were long queues to shower at the end of the day and most girls even brought their own hair dryer 😅
