Schloss Belvedere, located about 5 kilometers south of Weimar in Thuringia, Germany, is one of Weimar's most renowned historical palaces and is celebrated as the "Summer Palace" of the Dukes of Saxe-Weimar. Constructed between 1724 and 1732, the palace was commissioned by Ernst August I, Duke of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, and was initially intended for hunting and courtly recreation. Featuring classic Baroque architecture, Schloss Belvedere comprises the main palace, an orangery, beautifully landscaped gardens, and expansive woodlands. Its elegant and sophisticated layout perfectly captures the aesthetic of 18th-century European aristocratic gardens. Inside, the palace houses exquisite furniture, porcelain, and fine art collections, offering a glimpse into the luxurious lifestyle and cultural refinement of the nobility during that era. The surrounding Baroque gardens and orangery are among its standout features, home to a wide variety of rare plants and offering stunning scenery throughout all four seasons.

Eisenach, located in western Thuringia, Germany, nestled at the foot of the Thuringian Forest, is a cultural city with a population of approximately 42,000 and a history spanning over a thousand years. Its most famous landmark is Wartburg Castle, built in the 11th century, one of Germany's best-preserved medieval castles and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. From 1521 to 1522, the religious reformer Martin Luther sought refuge here and translated the New Testament into German, profoundly influencing the development of German language and culture. Eisenach is also the birthplace of the renowned composer Johann Sebastian Bach, whose birthplace museum showcases his life and musical achievements. Other historical sites worth visiting include Luther's birthplace, the market square, and St. George's Church. With its rich history, vibrant musical culture, and beautiful natural scenery, Eisenach has become one of Germany's most attractive tourist destinations.

Weimar is located in central Thuringia, Germany, with a population of around 65,000. It is one of Germany's most culturally rich cities, known as the "capital of German classical culture." With a history spanning over a thousand years, the city became a major hub for German literature, philosophy, music, and art during the 18th and 19th centuries under the patronage of the Duchy of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach. In 1998, "Classical Weimar" was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Weimar's most famous attractions include Goethe's House, Schiller's House, the Duchess Anna Amalia Library (Herzogin Anna Amalia Bibliothek), and the Weimar Palace. German literary giants Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Friedrich Schiller lived and worked here for many years, making Weimar the birthplace of German Classicism. In 1919, Germany's first democratic constitution, the Weimar Constitution, was drafted here, lending its name to the "Weimar Republic."

Coburg is located in northern Bavaria, Germany, near the Thuringian border along the banks of the Itz River, with a population of approximately 41,000. Steeped in rich history, Coburg was part of the Holy Roman Empire during the Middle Ages. Between 1826 and 1918, it served as the capital of the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. Thanks to the ducal family's strategic intermarriages with various European royal houses—including those of Great Britain, Belgium, Portugal, and Bulgaria—Coburg earned its renowned reputation as the "Cradle of European Royalty." Prince Albert, the husband of Britain's Queen Victoria, was born here and hailed from the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. Overlooking the entire city, Veste Coburg stands as one of Germany's largest and best-preserved medieval castles. In the heart of the city, Ehrenburg Palace once served as the primary residence of the dukes. Meanwhile, the town hall situated in the Old Town's central square dates back to the 16th century and is a prominent Renaissance architectural gem. Held annually in July, the Coburg Samba Festival is Europe's largest samba carnival, drawing dancers and visitors from across the globe and infusing this historic city with a vibrant, international cultural flair.

Erfurt is situated on the southern edge of the Thuringian Basin in central Germany, spanning both banks of the Gera River. With a population of nearly 215,000, it is the capital and largest city of the state of Thuringia. Martin Luther, the father of the Protestant Reformation, studied at the University of Erfurt from 1501 to 1505. He joined the local Augustinian monastery in 1505 and was ordained as a priest at Erfurt Cathedral in 1507. The religious site where the cathedral stands dates back to the 8th century. The Krämerbrücke (Merchants' Bridge), which crosses the Gera River, is lined with 32 well-preserved medieval houses and shops. It is the only remaining fully built-up bridge in Europe that is continuously inhabited and still serves a commercial purpose. Additionally, Erfurt is home to the Baroque-style Petersberg Citadel, the oldest and best-preserved Old Synagogue in Central Europe, as well as numerous half-timbered houses and historic civic buildings. In September 2023, the "Jewish-Medieval Heritage of Erfurt"—featuring the Old Synagogue, the Mikveh, and the Stone House—was officially designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
