Things to Note When Visiting Ba Na Hills
Explore the Vietnamese version of Disneyland at Ba Na Hills in Da Nang. Originally built by the French as a resort at an altitude of 1,400 meters, it has now transformed into a hub of entertainment and leisure. Key points to remember: Visit on a clear day to fully enjoy the experience, as foggy weather can drastically change the atmosphere.
Must-see landmarks include:
1. Golden Bridge (best visited before 8 AM or after 5 PM),
2. French Village (ideal for photos, especially beautiful in the evening)
3. Alpine Coaster (costs around 70,000 VND, but the ride is short, so not highly recommended),
4. Indoor Amusement Park (features various rides, including an indoor drop tower)
5. Castle Train (offers views of the castle and Ba Na Hills)
6. Giant Buddha (overlooks the area from the mountain top).
For photo opportunities, good weather is crucial to avoid misty pictures. Recommended spots include:
1. Mercure Hotel entrance plaza
2. Golden Bridge
3. Castle Train
4. World's longest cable car
5. Giant Buddha
6. Pink Castle.
Transportation:
Using Grab is not recommended due to the difficulty of finding rides on the mountain and adapting to different drivers.

MUST VISIT CAFE AMIDST PADDY FIELD IN HOI AN
#closetonature
Roving Chillhouse in Hoi An - we had a truly mind-blowing experience at this cafe which is nestled right in the middle of expansive paddy fields with buffalos wandering by and people relaxing around.
Service was fast but it wasn't at all about the food but the serene, peaceful atmosphere that made it unforgettable, like being immersed in nature's calmness.
The cafe is usually packed with people just soaking in the breathtaking views, so it is recommended to visit on weekdays.
Rating : 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Opening Hours : 7am - 8.30pm, daily.

【Must-see attractions】
Attraction name + introduction: Ba Na Hills
A famous attraction in Da Nang is the longest cable car in the world. As the cable car goes up, you can enjoy the scenery of Da Nang, the Golden Buddha's Hand Bridge and the French Village.
After boarding the cable car, you will go directly to the French Village at the top, one of the most popular destinations in Ba Na Hills, with landmarks such as squares, churches, old villages and hotels, as well as restaurants and amusement parks.
Then we came to the most popular Golden Buddha's Hand Bridge. There were so many people that it was difficult to take photos of the aerial view. We all took photos with passers-by. After walking across the bridge, there was a small area next to it that was less crowded. From there, we could get close to the Buddha's Hand Bridge. Take a photo.
Price: Tickets + cable car are about $1,000. It is recommended that you buy tickets online to avoid the crowds of people queuing up to buy tickets on site.
【Must-eat food】
1. Restaurant + must-try dishes: Thìa Gỗ
I ordered beef rice noodles, fried spring rolls and pancakes. The rice noodles soup is sweet and not salty. The fried spring rolls are crispy and not greasy. The pancakes are super big. They are wrapped with rice paper, lettuce and sauce. They taste delicious. The crispy flavor of the pie crust also has the sweetness of the lettuce, and the filling inside the pie tastes very rich.
2. Restaurant + must-try dishes: Ăn Thôi Restaurant
Located next to the Han Market, there were still a lot of people at 3pm. The decoration was very cute. I ordered pineapple fried rice, beef pho, stir-fried water spinach, pancakes and fried spring rolls. The pineapple fried rice actually came with scary three-color vegetables! ! ! But fortunately, after picking them out, they are delicious. The fried water spinach feels a bit unpleasant and too salty, but the other flavors are pretty good.
3. Restaurant + must-try dish: Bánh Mì Phượng French bread
Located near the ancient town of Hoi An, there are many people queuing up. The French bread is very crispy, and with the meat and eggs inside, it tastes very good.
【Accommodation recommendation】
Hotel name: voco Ma Belle Danang, an IHG Hotel
Hotel address: 168 Võ Nguyên Giáp, Street, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng
It is located near My Khe Beach. I booked a triple room for three people. I found it difficult to sleep on the bunk beds because the bed was very small and the quilt was very small. Later, I asked the housekeeping staff to give me a large quilt, but the big bed Just slept well. There is an infinity swimming pool, so you can enjoy the sea view while soaking in the water.
Price: Three people stay for two nights (Saturday and Sunday), about $11,000.

It was a trip with family to Ho Chi Minh City. We visited many places and restaurants. Just want to share some of my favorite places 😍
We visited reunification palace (Independence Palace). Former presidential palace, key site during the Fall of Saigon in 1975. If you are visiting, I would advice you to join a guided tour to learn about its history.
💰 VND 40,000 (approx. USD 1.70)
📍135 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1
We also visited War Remnants Museum. It Exhibits on the Vietnam War, including photos, artifacts, and military equipment. Some exhibits may be graphic; best for those prepared for intense historical content.
💰VND 40,000 (approx. USD 1.70)
📍28 Vo Van Tan, Ward 6, District 3
We also explored the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon. French-colonial cathedral, iconic twin towers. If you prefer to take lots of pictures 📸 like me, I would advise you to visit in the morning for good lighting.
📍Ben Nghe Ward, District 1
We also visited the Saigon Central Post Office. It was designed by Gustave Eiffel, stunning architecture, still functioning as a post office.

We also explored the Nha Hang Ngon. It Offers a variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes in a beautiful setting.
📍160 Pasteur, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1

P/S: Bargain politely to get the best prices 💰💰💰

We also visited Jade Emperor Pagoda. Taoist pagoda with intricate carvings, statues, and incense-filled atmosphere. Do visit early to avoid crowds and observe locals praying.
📍 73 Mai Thi Luu, Da Kao Ward, District 1
I would also recommend you to visit Thien Hau Temple. It is dedicated to the Chinese sea goddess, Mazu; beautiful courtyard and altars. You can also walk the surrounding Chinatown for a deeper cultural experience.
📍710 Nguyen Trai, Ward 11, District 5 (Chinatown)
Just to share some of my favourite restaurants 🥘 We visited Quan An Ngon. We tried their Goi Cuon (spring rolls), Bun Rieu (crab noodle soup), Com Tam (broken rice with grilled pork). All of them were really delicious 😍😍😍

The Best Places in Hanoi and Beyond!
🇻🇳 Vietnam is a beautiful country filled with rich history. Here are some of my favorite places to visit in Vietnam!
🌊 Experience the jaw-dropping beauty of Halong Bay! There are various ways you can choose to enjoy this unique geography consisting of limestone islands (that look more like mountains) and gorgeous waters. I chose to experience it via a day cruise and had an amazing time!
🛤️ Hanoi Train Street is a picturesque place with many photo opportunities. You can walk along the tracks throughout your visit, taking in the quaint sights around you. Pop into one of the local cafes that line the street for a cup of tea and a quick snack.
🍊 Tran Quoc Pagoda is the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, having been built in the sixth century. Around the pagoda, which holds important monk's ashes, citrus trees are grown, giving the pagoda a nice atmosphere when paired with the water it sits on.
📚 The Temple of Literature is a temple dedicated to Confucious in Hanoi, Vietnam. This temple was built in 1070 and served as the Imperial Academy, Vietnam's first university.

Hanoi Four-Day Citywalk can be enjoyed like this
After playing in Hanoi for four days, taking leisurely strolls and breaks was very relaxing. The attractions are quite concentrated, so even a commando could check off the main sites in one day, but I personally recommend three days for a more comfortable experience.
🏠About the attractions:
1. Top recommendation is Train Street. You need someone to guide you in, probably for safety reasons, and the fee is not more expensive than outside. To see the train, you have to wait for the weekend, and it's more beautiful when the lights are on at dusk.
2. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Security checks are required to enter, and many tour groups come here to check in.
3. The Imperial Citadel. The entrance fee is 30,000, and it's not very big inside, but many young ladies are taking photos. The yellow city walls are very photogenic.
4. Hanoi Opera House. It's beautiful for taking photos when the lighting is good.
5. St. Joseph's Cathedral. Suitable for photo ops and check-ins.
6. The Fine Arts Museum and the History Museum are worth a visit if you have time.
7. The famous coffee building + Hoan Kiem Lake. I sat in the rooftop café for a while, and the view was nice.
🚴About transportation:
1. Walking is highly recommended, as the attractions are not far from each other. Just choose where you want to go and use Google Maps to find the location and route. There are many shops and cafés along the road where you can stop by anytime.
2. Riding a motorbike. Grab is very convenient, and motorbikes are cheaper.
3. The double-decker red bus. It's very convenient to cover all the attractions in one go.
4. Pedicab. It's worth trying, but there's too much exhaust on the roads, so the experience is average.
5. To go from the airport to the city center, take bus 86, which costs 45,000 and takes about an hour, much more expensive by taxi.
🍽️About food and drink:
1. Vietnamese pho is very tasty. There are various ingredients like beef, pork, seafood, etc., and the price does not exceed 50,000, with free refills of noodles.
2. Egg coffee. Very fragrant, sweet, and creamy, and when mixed with coffee, it has a caramelized flavor, although the portion is a bit small, it's definitely worth a try. I went to Giang Coffee, which is said to be the original creator, and everyone had a cup in hand.
3. Coffee street. As long as you're in the city, there's a coffee shop every ten steps. You can try any with a Google Maps rating of 4.5, which is very friendly for coffee lovers. I bought Arabica coffee beans to take home, and they also have Moka pots and other items with great value for money.
4. There are many outdoor gear shops around the coffee building, such as The North Face, Patagonia, Salomon, and Arc'teryx. Remember to haggle for clothes, but it's harder to bargain for shoes. All are made in Vietnam, and you can judge their authenticity for yourself.
5. Street food. Juice costs around 25,000 per cup, and there are various noodles and cakes, all at reasonable prices.
🎢Other supplements:
1. There are many motorcycles in Hanoi city, which I find a bit noisy, so after walking for a while, I like to find a relatively quiet café to sit in.
2. You can withdraw money from ATMs, and UnionPay cards are charged a fee. Many shops accept credit cards, which is convenient.
3. When getting change while shopping, make sure to count carefully, as you might be given less by a few hundred thousand haha.
4. It's cheaper to get a SIM card in the city than at the airport.
Overall, Hanoi is not expensive, and the architecture and streets are picturesque, suitable for a leisurely three to four-day stroll. If you have extra time, you can spend a day or two in Halong Bay, making it about a week in total.

1️⃣Hanoi Cathedral
⛪️Also known as St. Joseph's Cathedral, it was built during the French colonial period, designed in Gothic style, somewhat resembling Notre-Dame de Paris, open to the public for free visits during the day. There are French-style mansions and open-air cafes nearby the cathedral, ☕️where you can experience the atmosphere of the French Quarter.
2️⃣The Old Quarter's 36 Streets
Located in the old city area, it is a major commercial and tourist hotspot in Hanoi. There are traditional Vietnamese handicraft and souvenir shops, as well as distinctive coffee shops and snacks, you can plan to spend half a day strolling around here.
3️⃣Hoan Kiem Lake
Next to the Old Quarter's 36 Streets is Hoan Kiem Lake, one of the main lakes in the city center, with green water reflecting the ancient trees and willows on the lakeshore. 4️⃣Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre
A traditional Vietnamese cultural performance, the content of the performance is usually about national heroes and folk tales. The performance is entirely in Vietnamese, but you can get a Chinese program in the lobby before entering to roughly understand the content of the performance. It takes about 3.5 hours to get there from Hanoi. Ha Long Bay consists of thousands of large and small islands, where you can take an 🚢antique boat and travel among the karst islands. On the second day, you can visit the Surprise Cave to admire the peculiar stalactites inside.

When the wind of the train brushes across your face
🇻🇳When the wind of the train brushes across your face🚂💖🚉If I had ever encountered you on a train railway, I believe when the wind from the passing train brushes my cheeks, I must be holding hands with you on this exciting and surprising train street, where dual tracks no longer separate us. Hanoi Train Street, Vietnam.
✨In the old quarter of Vietnam, there is a special street that people call the Train Street. Most tourists come here just for the novelty of taking photos, but the locals have been living with this railway for decades.
✨The train passes by here twice a day, once at 3:30 pm and once at 7:30 pm. The speed of Vietnam's trains is as slow as our oldest green trains, about 40 kilometers per hour.
✨This track, built during the French colonial period, has nearly a hundred years of history. The people of Hanoi have become accustomed to the roar of these old-fashioned trains, living in harmony with them, and it seems that their lives have not changed because of it.
✨The tracks are only one or two meters away from the houses, with various fruit shops, barber shops, and restaurants on both sides. The residents here regard this track as their public area, where people cook and children play.
🚂Most residents of Vietnam are very open and even casual about the use of public space, and there are no urban management officers to disturb them here, which is probably why the people of Train Street can face their life situation so calmly.
🚂Everything here seems extremely old, old trains, old tracks, old houses, yellowed signs, and blurred street signs, but the smiles of the people here always seem more cordial and fresh than the merchants near the nearby Sword Lake.
Drinking coffee by the tracks?! Hanoi's must-visit popular Train Street||| to go on weekends
What are the must-visit spots in Vietnam's capital Hanoi? Don't miss the popular Hanoi Train Street!
💥Little tips:
1. It is recommended to wear brightly colored clothes for better photos.
2. You can order local specialties like egg coffee and spring rolls at the coffee shops.
3. It is said that trains pass by at 3:30 pm and 7:30 pm, so interested friends can choose to visit around these times.
4. There are many local Vietnamese specialties nearby, and Grab is very convenient. Just wave to stop one, but it's best to show the address to the driver and agree on the price before getting on.

Amiana Resort Nha Trang
Most of stays are villas and it separates each other so it is very quiet to stay. There are very nice 3 pools and private beach. Staffs are kind and most of services are satisfied.
Just one thing, you should keep your record. We didn’t get promotion that we supposed to. I told them I checked via website online chat before I book but they kept said I’m not qualified…and just ignored my request at check-in time. I just moved on because it was the first day..

One of the most popular touristic destinations in Danang is Hoi Ann. The Old Town of Hoi Ann is located about 30km south of Da Nang and it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Hoi An is also located on the Thu Bon River which is flanked by bars, cafes and local markets and you can walk along the banks at night. Ho Chih Minh Vietnam
Ho Chih Minh a city formerly known as Saigon is the biggest city in Vietnam. The traffic is pretty bad and the best way to go round is by motorcycle. Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon is one of the touristic places in this city which has recently been refurbished. You can find many local delicacies in Ben Thanh Market throughout the day in the city center and the night market just nearby.

grilled chicken with coloured sticky rice-try
#newyearadventure
If there is some local food that is unique that you have to try in Dalat, Vietnam- would recommend this stall which may not look as welcoming from outside - but is a gem (food and ambience wise) from inside!
do check out this stall and have its tendered, freshly grilled chicken if you are at dalat - accompanied uniquely by not only coloured but sticky rice!

Boating Through Vietnam’s Beautiful Tam Coc
If you decide that you want to tour more of Vietnam’s countryside, I would definitely recommend visiting Tam Coc in Ninh Binh province and hopping on a boat!
You’ll need around 2 hours for this experience, but it is one you don’t want to miss. In Tam Coc town center there is a booth from which you can buy your tickets to rent one of the boats that you would take (which fits 2 people).
This is a super relaxing experience, during which you’ll cruise along the Ngo Dong River amidst lush green hills and through three caves. The roofs of the caves are actually pretty low, so you’ll be surprised to think that you’ll be passing through them at all.
When you get through the last cave, you can have a quick snack break and buy some fresh fruit from a local seller and their boat if you want - just note that you might be paying a premium.

Cycling Tam Coc
It’s easy to see why Tam Coc is a popular location for tourists to explore. From the incredible limestone caves and vast paddy fields to intriguing historical sights and more, it’s a great place to really get stuck into nature.
While on a two week tour through Vietnam, I had the pleasure of exploring Ninh Ninh province, and in particular Tam Coc, and even spent a good portion of an afternoon just cycling around - it was glorious!
While cycling I passed incredible views of the charming countryside, saw lots of wildlife, dipped in and out of little villages and met some friendly locals thanks to the guidance of my guide! If you have the chance, and are keen to do the same, make sure you make time to also join a tour and explore Tam Coc!

Motoring through the Jungle (Vietnam)
Out of all of my Asia trips, Vietnam will always stand out. We started our trip in Ho Chi Minh city without a plan or a place to stay. We were taken in by this wonderful hostel owner who allowed us to sleep in the staff quarters as there wasn’t a room available that night. He suggested we rent motorbikes and travel to the north over the span of a few days. We had no other plan so we agreed. We were accompanied by 2 locals who gave us a full history lesson at every location. We travelled to Dalat, Dak Lak, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Da Nang, Hue and finally to Hanoi. I would definitely recommend exploring Vietnam by motorcycle. We rode on the Ho Chi Minh Highway, learning about the war and the after effects. We chased waterfalls, ate dinner in Long Houses hosted by local families. We sat on the floor and ate with our hands. We drank some of the most expensive coffee in the world. We even visited an orphanage and spoke to nuns there. Despite all the Vietnamese people have been through, they remain some of the most pleasant people I have ever met.

✨SHINDERSHIP✨
Address: 120 CT5 Trung Tu, Dong Da, Hanoi (go to Lane 4 Dang Van Ngu for easy finding)

🌿The shelter has 4 facilities, before I came to the facility in Ha Dong, I liked it, now it's convenient to have a 5th facility in Trung Tu. The shop still retains its liberal and spacious character, but it is a bit modern here. The shop has 2 floors in a minimalist style, unfinished walls, elegant colors combined with flooded natural light to make the whole room comfortable. High tables and chairs, so it is very suitable for studying and working. The first floor has air conditioning, the second floor has low tables and chairs, an open space for wandering souls.
The menu is diverse, with coffee machines, teas, juices, smoothies. I use Le Chi, the bar's standout summer drink, made with tea with strawberry jam, lychee juice and garnished with a slice of yellow orange. Moderately sweet, cool, drinkable. The restaurant arranges more cup liner, which is great. Dear staff.
🌿TG open: 8am-23pm. Price from 30-75k. Cash payment & ck. Bring a pet.

IAM CAFE

Iam Cafe is located deep in the alley so it is quiet. The shop has 3 rooms, 1st floor has an open sitting area in front of the verandah, 2nd floor has high tables and chairs, quiet and air-conditioned, 4th floor is open space. I am simple, not a coffee shop to live or photograph but very suitable for studying and working.
The 4th floor is the most spacious, the tables and chairs are low, the group of people sitting and chatting with you is reasonable. When the service is open late, the shop will have weekly music to exchange with music lovers.
Especially the shop has a staff with hairy hair, big hips :)) attentive customer service, 10 points 😂
Menu has coffee machine, kinds of tea. I drink jelly o tea, jelly and o u are crispy and fragrant, taste quite good.
TG open: 8:30-22:30. Price from 30-55k. Cash payment & ck. For small pets, you can sit in the 1st floor area.

HASH Coffee Bar at Vietnam
Nice, quiet place for a great cup of coffee. They also sell their own roasted coffee. Also nice small sweet desserts to come with the coffee like panna cotta and Chocolat mousse. A bit hard to find but weel worth the time.
The staff were extremely knowledgeable and able to talk me through their menu (in English) to help me make an informed decision.
The decor inside is nice and you can buy bags of the coffee beans they use if you happen to fall in love with your coffee.
I had a Vietnamese style iced coffee which was made to perfection, the coffee was strong but the drink wasn't overloaded with condensed milk, they got the balance just right, (to my taste at least) it was the best iced Vietnamese coffee I'd had in Vietnam.
The prices are reasonable based on the quality. I've attached a photo of the menu so you'll be able to view it before visiting.

90S The Coffee at Vietnam
A charming gem down a side street with simply incredible coffee! The interior is lovely, spacious, and well-decorated, with a lot of very comfortable chairs and a sofa or two, as well as some outside seating. Service is great, and the music is soft, relaxing, and fits the mood very well. The security guy is very nice.
The shop is not too wide as I thought, the staff said only downstairs. But the space decoration is harmonious, comfortable, very saigon 90s.
When I came on Thursday day, the shop was not crowded, just strewn with customers. Mostly go alone to work, a few couples to chat.
The low table is much, depending on the table has a power outlet or not. The tall table will be outside (with 1 inside) and there will be no power outlet.
List of music mainly soft music, foreign songs of the 20th century.
The price is about 35k or more.

Half Past Six Coffeeshop
One of the best place to have specialty coffee in Saigon. It’s located in the villa compound by the riverside. You can go out and take a walk along the green alley along the riverside. The place is often crowded but it’s still relaxing. It’s a bit more expensive than most of other specialty coffee shops but the quality of the drinks is worth the price.
Excellent selection of coffee in a cool relaxing atmosphere.
This is a nicely hidden from the main streets and hustle. Glass walls allow for lots of natural lighting and giving a feeling of enjoying the outdoors without the sweltering heat. The service is great and they do speak English but you can always just point.

Delicious staple of the D2 Thao Dien area, Vintage Emporium delivers on fabulous brunch and meal fare, from champagne to Moroccan eggs and super fluffy pancakes drizzled in syrup. A superb selection of cocktails, custom made gin drinks and other spirits will take you easily into the early afternoon, post brunch. Service today was quick and efficient, with friendly staff. Eggs Benedict, and hummus on point and spiced perfectly.
