Had booked at fern for stay after the k as plateau trip, this hotel is at a prime location in satara, making it easy for tourists who wish to explore the city. The rooms were big and clean, clean bathrooms, buffet breakfast was decent too, overall a very good experience!

We recently visited Mahableshwar and stayed at Rockford Resort in Mahabaleshwar and we had a great experience. The resort is 8kms away from the city and The resort is surrounded by beautiful valleys and mountains and you can actually see the clouds below the resort. Our room had a valley-facing view, and waking up with this view from balcony was amazing. The infinity pool also faces the valley however it was very cold to actually swim. The treehouse dining was another highlight you can use this as private dining experience. The whole place gave us vibes of Kashmir right here in Maharashtra, this looks like Kashmir of Maharashtra. The staff were friendly, and the service was great. Overall the breakfast and food was great and very nice experience and stay at Rockford.

Property location is good, multiple activities to keep you occupied. Complementary activities are enough to spend nice time in nature. Few paid activities you can explore by yourself if have vehicle. The paid activities guy was rude. Atmosphere were amazing in last week of may24, two nights stay is much. Forest escapes housekeeping and maintenance is not upto mark. In package mentioned about fridge, but there were no fridge and even after reminding, it was not arranged. Tata sky connection had issue, but reluctant to fix the same. Restaurant staff is co-operative, 5star to them. Food is little costly.

Simply Awesome! Stayed here for 3 nights at this resort with family in a family room and had a great time. Resort is situated in a picturesque location on top hill with great view. It is actually not in Mahableshwar but in between Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani. All peace around and no crowd like in Mahableshwar. Staff are all polite and very helpful. Very strong Wifi available all around. The only issue is no other restaurants nearby so dinner have to be taken at resort restaurant which is veg. The food is very tasty but the prices are on very higher side. Breakfast is awesome with very tasty dishes like moong shira, pineapple Shira with other normal dishes like dosa, Shole bhature etc. In future will surely go here again. Management should consider evaluating the food prices which are very high. Rest everything is excellent.

For location, I will give it a 5 star rating as cheese factory and mapro garden is very close to the place. For food, I would rate it at 3.5 as the spread for breakfast is very limited.Would have been nice if they served strawberries in the room as they have their own farm Service and staff were very polite and were very helpful towards all our needs. Rooms were very spacious and well ventilated with a beautiful sit out. Also they did not charge me for a 3rd adult as they had a sofa cum bed. We also had the opportunity to buy farm fresh strawberries from their own farm. Overall highly recommended.
