Extended Stay America Suites - Atlanta - Marietta - Powers Ferry Rd

I stayed here alone and felt very safe, which was definitely a priority for me. I worked from my hotel room one day and the Wi-Fi worked well. Microwave and fridge both functioned well. The stove looked a little sketchy to me so I didn’t use it. Bed was a bit hard but not totally uncomfortable. Shampoo and body wash provided but FYI NO CONDITIONER. I had some delivered via DoorDash. Staff was friendly and helpful, even when I arrived hours after check-in because my flight didn’t get in until after midnight. The room could’ve used a bit more cleaning (I found someone else’s dirty clothes stuffed into the armchair when I was making sure I had all my belongings) but for the price, it worked.

We chose this hotel for our Lakepoint baseball tournament. While it’s not close to the field, it’s very close to shopping, Truist Park, restaurants and everything else you may need. The rooms were clean (not spotless but clean) and spacious. The hotel had plenty of space for our team to spread out and a perfect open field for whiffle ball because, after playing baseball all day, blitz ball is a must. The breakfast was good with a good number of choices. The hotel seemed to have a mix of business travelers and sports teams but there were also some guests that didn’t seem to be staying at the hotel. Families came and used the pool who, when a child was injured, hopped in a car parked outside and left. Doesn’t seem to be very secure in that regard and something the hotel may want to look into. There were also interesting people who used the spaces but never went to rooms at different times during our stay. It was odd given the location. Overall we had a great stay and would I choose the hotel again.

Ok hotel, with the amicable design, friendly reception and bar staff… two things which really annoyed me , hence the average rating - while booked via booking.com you normally have as a client to communicate with the hotel prior arrival via messages… well I did message the hotel 5 times without a reply for a minor but important detail…. Really upset me as they must have seen 5 messages?? - in a courtyard (supposed 3-4 sear hotel basic inroom amenities as a note pad and a pen should be standard… unfortunately in neither of our two rooms ;-( Again basically the hotel was fine, but those details show lack of customer care and can do attitude

This was perfect, exactly what I expect from a value-oriented hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked well, and so did the fridge and microwave. Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. It's an older property but it's well kept. It's an easy five-minute drive to the Battery and the ballpark. It's an excellent value too. I would be happy to stay here again!
