Arrived late at night, check-in was quick and easy, the room was clean, and got everything we needed. Kids love the swimming pool. Breakfast was good, staffs are very nice and helpful. A/C was loud, but our kids were able to sleep through it, so it was not a big issue. Overall, a friendly, simple accommodation , we were happy with our stay.
The location was convenient with a lot of shops in the area. The staffs were helpful and the breakfast was good. They had a gym but did not use it. I made use of the laundry service coin operated. The room were clean and tidy and would recommend to stay here. I felt comfortable and I enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend staying here.
The room was clean and spacious. There are stoves, microwaves, electric dumplings and refrigerators. But no hair dryer, no tea bags and coffee supply? No fork spoons.
Maybe we don't have enough credit rating on Ctrip.com, or the hotel doesn't trust Ctrip's users. We have received a deposit of 100 CAD (50 CAD/day). According to the Ctrip online, it will take 1-3 months to return. The amount of Xin’s loss is not big, otherwise I will delay my short-term investment.
The Lord Nelson Motel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Lord Nelson Motel offers a pleasant stay in Kingston for those traveling for business or leisure. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Rideau Canal, Locks 46 - 49 - Kingston Mills, Fine Balance Brewing Company and Kingston Racquet Centre. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site.
The location was perfect for the purpose of our trip. Booking in was efficient with friendly service and the room was ok. The breakfast was fine the evening and day staff were efficient and very friendly. With a young man in tow Wi-Fi was 'on and off' and not consistent. Overall it was a good experience.
GGuest UserOverall, this was a nice little place to stay. You can tell it's an older facility, but seems to be fairly well maintained. Pretty clean overall, though the floors were a bit sticky. The setup of our rooms was nice as well. I'd probably stay again if I were ever in the area.

RRoaming DogIf you’re on your way to Manitoulin Island, this hotel is a good base. It’s about a 30 minute drive to the island. There are a few chain restaurants nearby and a grocery store.
The hotel staff are courteous and helpful and had me checked-in in a matter of minutes. Checking out of the hotel you just leave your keys in the room and off you go.
There is ample parking in the front and rear of the hotel and is monitored with cctv cameras. You can also just look out of your hotel room window and see your car if you’re worried about theft.
I would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a comfy and quiet night of rest.
GGuest UserThe front desk staff was good. The breakfast was OK but hot food was terrible, the sausages was cold and 4 small pieces of eggs left in it (all dried up) at 9:45a.m. Supposed the breakfast close at 10a.m but when I asked the attendant to refill some more eggs, she went to check the left over eggs then told me ”there is still some in it”, I said ”it's all dried up and it's not enough for two people, then she told me ”next time you should come earlier. I said ”there were few more people came in after me but nobody wanted to take it”, she told me ”I will try my best”. Finally, I waited 25-30 minutes to get my eggs.

JJohnThe Travel Lodge is a good stop along the way if you are going from Toronto to Montreal or Ottawa. We went down to the shore of Quinte Bay which is along the motel property and it was beautiful. Also checked out the National Military Air museum where they have a full sized Halifax bomber 5 mins away. Breakfast was standard ok. Room had CNN and other channels so everything good want. Staff were friendly. Overall a good stop.
