Motels in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea

I booked this place because I had some business in Pyeongtaek! It's newly built, so it was very clean and great. The location is very close to Pyeongtaek Station, and there's a convenience store just a second away, so it was super convenient. Haha. The hot water in the room was great, and most importantly, the water pressure was great. The pillows were especially comfortable, so I had a great night's sleep!

I stayed for 5 nights. It was easy to get around Seoul since Moran Station, which is close by, has both Line 8 and the Bundang-Suin Line. Food was also easily taken care of with a market and a food street nearby. The hotel itself was clean for the price, and the bathroom and TV facilities (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) were all in good working order. The most impressive thing was how incredibly kind the person at the front desk was. Even though I was just a transient guest, they answered my questions thoughtfully and genuinely helped resolve any issues, for which I'm very grateful.

Whether you are a counter staff or the boss, the response was good and friendly. I liked everything else in the hotel. As soon as I entered the room, I smelled like cigarettes. So I asked him to change the room right away. The changed room didn't smell cigarettes at first, but it was dizzy after a few hours, whether it was moving from another room through a ventilator or the like, or whether there was a furniture in the smell of cigarettes. I've been there for a few hours, but I'm sorry to change the room, so I just moved to the hotel and slept. Everything was good except that. I like the counter response, so I think I would have changed it if I asked to change the room. Anyway, everything was good except that. Breakfast seems to be simple and laundry is free. The rooftop is open 24 hours a day and the parking space is good. The room is also very big on TV.

The hotel is located on the 8 Floor of a commercial building. It is just a minute or two away from Juyeop station exit 7. It is also near the airport bus stop for no 3300. The location is very convenient as there is a huge Daiso and GS25 and many other restaurants. You can also walk across to Juyeop park where I was fortunate to see cherry blossoms. The park is popular with old folks exercising and there are cafes, restaurants and shops like Olive Young, Compose Coffee, convenience stores as well as Isaac Toast. The room we got is spacious and clean. Basic amenities like tooth brush, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, room slippers, hair dryer and bath robes are provided. The shower is in the same space as the sink and heated/electric toilet bowl. So the floor does get wet but they provide bathroom slippers. Whilst there is no kettle in the room, there is a common area where you can get hot water, coffee, tea, bottled water and biscuits. There is a mini fridge in the room. Do note the room does not have windows that can be opened, so there is no sunlight from outside, which is a minus. Service is good & friendly and they use translation app to communicate. The area is not noisy and not busy, which is great as well.

Traveling solo, it was perfectly convenient for sightseeing. The staff were very attentive and kind. With a Line 3 station nearby, and convenience stores and eateries around the hotel, I had everything I needed.

There are several restaurants and cafes nearby, and it's easy to get around with public transport. The only downside was the noise from neighboring rooms, which could be heard at times, but it wasn't a major issue. It’s quite hard to find a hotel within my budget and with a bathtub around the Uijeongbu area. I booked this hotel because of some positive reviews, the availability of a bathtub, nearby restaurants and cafés within walking distance, and a check-in time that isn’t too late (some hotels only allow check-in at 9 p.m.). I arrived early (9 a.m.) and planned to leave my luggage and go sightseeing, but it was extremely cold and I was very sleepy, as I couldn’t sleep on the plane. The receptionists agreed to an early check-in for a fee (half the nightly rate). Upon check-in, they provided a personal kit (toothbrush, assorted creams, comb, razor, etc.). The room has a big TV, four speakers, a mini fridge, kettle, hair dryer, air purifier, air conditioning, and more (see photos). The heater works very well too. Instant coffee, tea, a coffee machine, and a microwave are available on the first floor and the 11th floor (rooftop), which also has tables and a laundry area. On every floor, just outside the rooms, there is a microwave and shared utensils for guests to use. The LRT station is only a five-minute walk away. For the price, it’s worth it if you’re okay with a late check-in.

The area around can be incredibly noisy, especially at night time, even up until 5 AM. If you're like me and like having the window open while sleeping, prepare to be waken up regularly by loud cars who think they are on the damn Nürburgring or people who like to yell/scream their lungs out at night for no reason. Pretty standard 40 bucks ish hotel for Korea.

The rooms are very chintz, and the subway station is nearby. Shower gels, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, towels, and drinking water are all provided. There's a coffee machine downstairs! The staff is very friendly and always helpful. The place is quite quiet, not far from Seoul. Highly recommended.
