It's really good to be able to live in such a remote place! The room was clean, warm and comfortable, and the location was easy to find on the side of the road. There are almost no meals near the hotel, and there is a sober soup that is not bad.

I recently stayed at a charming Japanese hotel that completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, everything felt thoughtfully designed — clean lines, calming lighting, and that quiet, peaceful atmosphere Japan does so well. The room itself was compact but perfectly arranged, with every detail serving a purpose. The highlight, without question, was the massage chair. After long days of exploring, sinking into that chair felt like pure heaven. It was surprisingly high quality, with multiple settings that genuinely helped me relax and recharge. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Soft pajamas were provided, the bathroom was spotless, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The staff were polite, efficient, and respectful of privacy, which made the stay even smoother. It’s one of those places where you can truly unwind without any distractions. That said, there was one… unusual moment. Around midnight, I woke up suddenly and noticed something in the window. For a brief second, it looked like a shadow forming into a red, skull-like shape, almost as if it was hovering just beyond the glass. It disappeared as quickly as I focused on it, leaving me unsure if I was dreaming or just disoriented from sleep. The stillness of the room afterward made it feel even more surreal. Despite that strange experience, it didn’t take away from the overall stay. If anything, it made the night oddly memorable. Between the incredible comfort, the relaxing massage chair, and the peaceful atmosphere, I would absolutely stay here again. A perfect experience with just a hint of mystery to keep things interesting.

What truly sets this hotel apart is its unbeatable location—just a 2-minute walk from Seongnam Sports Complex, one of the best places in the area for jogging, walking, or enjoying the outdoors. If you like to start your day with some fresh air and exercise, you’ll love how easy it is to access the stadium and surrounding paths. Aside from the amazing location, the hotel offers a very clean and comfortable stay. The room was tidy and well-maintained, and the bed was fresh and cozy, making it easy to relax after a long day. The heating and air conditioning worked perfectly, which made the room comfortable regardless of the season. The bathroom had all the essentials, and both the water pressure and hot water were excellent. The staff were friendly, responsive, and check-in/check-out was quick and smooth. One of the staff members, who seems to be the owner, speaks excellent English, which made communication very easy. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and public transportation is very accessible, so getting around is simple even if it’s your first time in Seongnam. Overall, this hotel is an excellent value for money and especially ideal for those who enjoy staying active while traveling. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the CIMA Hotel in Dongducheon, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between comfort and convenience, making it a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the area. The rooms are impeccably clean and well-maintained, with modern furnishings and thoughtful amenities that made my stay incredibly comfortable. The bed was exceptionally cozy, ensuring a good night's rest after long days of exploring. The spacious bathrooms, complete with high-quality toiletries, added a touch of luxury to the experience. The location is another highlight. Situated conveniently near key attractions and transportation, CIMA Hotel is perfect for travelers looking to explore Dongducheon and its surroundings. It's also close to Camp Casey, which makes it an excellent option for military personnel and their families. Additionally, the hotel's amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, an on-site café, and a well-equipped business center, cater perfectly to both leisure and business travelers. I would highly recommend the CIMA Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and hospitable stay in Dongducheon. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

The hotel is located on the 8 Floor of a commercial building. It is just a minute or two away from Juyeop station exit 7. It is also near the airport bus stop for no 3300. The location is very convenient as there is a huge Daiso and GS25 and many other restaurants. You can also walk across to Juyeop park where I was fortunate to see cherry blossoms. The park is popular with old folks exercising and there are cafes, restaurants and shops like Olive Young, Compose Coffee, convenience stores as well as Isaac Toast. The room we got is spacious and clean. Basic amenities like tooth brush, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, room slippers, hair dryer and bath robes are provided. The shower is in the same space as the sink and heated/electric toilet bowl. So the floor does get wet but they provide bathroom slippers. Whilst there is no kettle in the room, there is a common area where you can get hot water, coffee, tea, bottled water and biscuits. There is a mini fridge in the room. Do note the room does not have windows that can be opened, so there is no sunlight from outside, which is a minus. Service is good & friendly and they use translation app to communicate. The area is not noisy and not busy, which is great as well.

For those planning a trip to Goyang to see K-pop idols, this is the perfect short-term accommodation! It's incredibly convenient, close to the Kintex venue! The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful! There are usually quite a few issues during check-in, but the staff are available 24/7 to assist you. Luggage storage is also available, and there are security cameras next to the counter to keep an eye on things. While the initial smell is quite strong, reminiscent of a motel, I think it's perfectly adequate for a short-term stay, especially for K-pop idol viewing!

The hotel is located in a quiet area, making it ideal for those who want a peaceful environment away from the hustle of central Seoul. There are several restaurants and cafes nearby, and it's easy to get around with public transport. The only downside was the noise from neighboring rooms, which could be heard at times, but it wasn't a major issue. Pros: Clean and modern rooms Friendly and professional staff Quiet location with nearby dining options Cons: Noise from neighboring rooms Limited facilities (no gym or pool) Overall, I would recommend Hotel Yam for those looking for a comfortable, no-frills stay in Paju Geumcheon. It’s quite hard to find a hotel within my budget and with a bathtub around the Uijeongbu area. I booked this hotel because of some positive reviews, the availability of a bathtub, nearby restaurants and cafés within walking distance, and a check-in time that isn’t too late (some hotels only allow check-in at 9 p.m.). I arrived early (9 a.m.) and planned to leave my luggage and go sightseeing, but it was extremely cold and I was very sleepy, as I couldn’t sleep on the plane. The receptionists agreed to an early check-in for a fee (half the nightly rate). Upon check-in, they provided a personal kit (toothbrush, assorted creams, comb, razor, etc.). The room has a big TV, four speakers, a mini fridge, kettle, hair dryer, air purifier, air conditioning, and more (see photos). The heater works very well too. Instant coffee, tea, a coffee machine, and a microwave are available on the first floor and the 11th floor (rooftop), which also has tables and a laundry area. On every floor, just outside the rooms, there is a microwave and shared utensils for guests to use. The LRT station is only a five-minute walk away. For the price, it’s worth it if you’re okay with a late check-in.

The area around can be incredibly noisy, especially at night time, even up until 5 AM. If you're like me and like having the window open while sleeping, prepare to be waken up regularly by loud cars who think they are on the damn Nürburgring or people who like to yell/scream their lungs out at night for no reason. Pretty standard 40 bucks ish hotel for Korea.
