Red Roof Inn Nashville - Music City

Booking was translated incorrectly from travel agent to hotel, assigned us to a room with 2 Queen beds after purchasing (for an upcharge) a Standard King room. The hotel staff was able to accommodate, which was great. The room itself was relatively clean, however the refrigerator was not cleaned out and we had to dispose of the previous guest's leftovers. The pool was also closed for the season, which was a bummer for sure... even if we just wanted to hang out outside, the only seating options were 2 seats meant for smoking. I understand it would be difficult to prevent people from using the pool if it was closed, but an alternative outdoor seating option would've been nice. Other then that, the location had convenient access to downtown Nashville and was proximal to some very cute hole-in-the wall bars and restaurants. Not an unpleasant stay, would still come back (for a 3rd time) if the pool was open. The rooms were equipped with both refrigerator and microwave and were more spacious that other chains I've stayed at. The price was amiable as well, given the lack of amenities.
Hotel Bo, a Days Inn by Wyndham Chattanooga Downtown

If being saturated in the smell of sewage (I assume from the nearby city sewer system), being terminally tormented by the tedious sounds of traffic, cringing all night at the excruciating cacophony of construction activity, wincing at the grating sound of city vehicles cleaning streets and emptying dumpsters outside your room all night, being deafened at 4 a. m. by a diesel delivery truck parked outside your room running their refrigeration units at 120 decibels and clanging on metal unloading ramps loudly enough to wake the deceased, and a general unawareness of and indifference to your suffering and the very idea that a lodger might wish to sleep at night are what you seek, this hotel is for you! The hotel was clean and neat inside the room and conveniently located near City Cafe and a public transport stop, however, the notion that a lodger might desire sleep seems to have escaped them. In my personal experience Hotel Bo now has pride of place for providing (or not providing, rather) the worst night of ”sleep” (torture, rather) at a hotel that I have had in half a century. I honestly could have slept in my truck in a Walmart parking lot and been happier and more rested right now. I find it humorously ironic, I guess, that I arrived after midnight due to a difficult journey thinking I would crash hard and sleep through any disturbance a hotel might have the capacity to conjure up in the night, not knowing that the fates were already laughing devilishly at what they had planned for me at Hotel Bo. So, here I sit at City Cafe (since 5 a. m., by the way) musing to myself about my own idiocy. Caveat emptor.
Days Inn by Wyndham Kodak/Sevierville Intrstate SmokeyMntns

Mediocre accommodations appropriate for a down n dirty quick overnight stay. Pleasant and quick check in. Rooms are accessed external by outdoor elevator or stairs. The reception area contains the small breakfast area for the simple/typical waffle, dry cereal, apple/banana, pale coffee and water. Room was tight with two queen beds, small tv, small sink and bathroom, thru wall a/c unit that worked sufficiently, shower had decent pressure and hot water. Nothing glamorous here and none expected for the $99. Get in~get out.
Budget Inn

Was better than I expected. Lot of construction workers staying there so not alot of commotion. Was a little surprised by the planes landing. A little confused about the office as there is 3 different places but the person manning the desk most of the weekend was very nice and helpful.
Americana Inn a Travelodge by Wyndham

I wouldn’t stay again, it was quite disappointing. When we got there, a man at the desk was having an asthma attack from the smoke smell in his room and was getting a refund. Then, a mom came out 10 minutes later stating that a group was smoking **** on the balcony around her children. When we got in our room, the comforters smelled like **** as well. Pillows were fine however, and the room itself smelled okay. The shower head was too short to wash hair, I could put my chin on it as a 5’7” female. Conveniently located with easy parking, but I would pay more and go somewhere else.
Super 8 by Wyndham Crossville TN

I usually stay at the motel a couple of times a year. Once in May and again in August as I travel with a bluegrass band. Have been staying here for years and have never had a bad experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable and parking is readily available and easily assessable. The motel is directly off of Interstate 40 so there's an easy on and off to continue your trip. There's also a gas station/ convenience store directly beside the motel to stop, gas up, and grab a few snacks. The front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. Check-in and check-out is always simple and no one at the motel has ever refused a request. Anyone having a complaint about this property, I suspect, are incredibly hard to please.
Baymont by Wyndham Gallatin

We were all so upset, needed the sleep. The walls didn't allow sound from the other rooms to invade our rest. We didn't use the pool, but it was available had we been able to use it. When we need to travel back to the area, we will book our rooms with Baymont Gallatin
