I stayed here with my mom for one night, and we were both very impressed. The value for money was excellent, and the room actually exceeded my expectations—it looked even better in real life than in the photos. We had a beautiful view from the window, and the location was perfect: quiet, yet only a two-minute walk to the beach. Same for bus stop to Chania. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom, and it was equipped with everything we needed. It felt more like a small apartment, complete with a kitchen and a spacious balcony where we really enjoyed spending time. We liked it so much that we even wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately the rooms were already fully booked for our dates. Overall, a wonderful experience and a place I would definitely recommend.

This is a very well managed hotel with a good location, close to the pier and a five-minute walk from the Archaeological Museum. The breakfast is very good, the facilities are complete, the price is not expensive, and the cost performance is very high. When I checked in on June 1, there was a gentleman front desk staff who patiently answered many questions about Heraklion tourism for me and helped me print the boat ticket to Santorini. I would like to thank him here!

We stayed here for 4 nights. I had booked a sea view room, but they said it was upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi. While the jacuzzi was nice and relaxing, the sea view was quite limited, which was a bit disappointing. The property is located in a remote and peaceful part of the island. It has excellent internet access and a decent outdoor gym. Since it is right by the sea, you can enjoy walking or running along the coast to the nearest town, Mavrikianon. One important thing to mention is that the property does not have direct access to the sea. To swim, you need to go to either Plaka Beach, which requires a minimum spend of €40 per person to use the sunbeds, or to Mavrikianon Beach, which is much more affordable at €5 per person for the entire day. Mavrikianon Beach is very pleasant and close to markets where you can buy drinks. There are also some good food and drink spots nearby, such as Rudi’s Bar, a British-style pub, and Porto Rino, which serves great pizzas. Make sure to skip Nico’s Fish Tavern and try the Ferryman instead — you won’t regret it. What we found most frustrating was the lack of mosquito screens on the windows. Sleeping with the windows open was not really an option, even though the natural breeze was wonderful. Our room had air conditioning, but we tend to get sick sleeping with it on. There was a ceiling fan as well, but it is a shame to miss out on the fresh air simply because of a missing screen. The breakfast was also a disappointment. There were very few options, the coffee was not good, and the omelettes were overcooked. The most inconvenient part of our stay was the parking system. You have to check in and out with security every time, which felt excessive and time-consuming. It gave the impression of entering a high-security zone, not a relaxing holiday resort. Overall, it was a good experience with some nice features, but for the price, it lacks comfort and convenience in a few key areas. .

It was not peak season, maybe because of that staffs were not so prepared. I waited long time for the pick up from the reception to the hotel room, same for when I tried to ask for an umbrella and other information. Staffs seemed always busy talking on the phone or with each other. My door had some problems , you need some skills to open it, the shuttle bus driver spent five minutes opening it. Staffs in the restaurants were friendly, fairly speaking, the buffet restaurant was quite nice, catering diverse and delicious food. The seafood restaurant served a set menu, for which I held high expectations since I was only allowed to replace one buffet dinner for a la cart restaurant. Food itself was fair, albeit overseasoned( to me was too salty), and two or three dishes will be served at the same time and honestly they were not even hot. Room service was very efficient and the room was always clean. Private pool was nice, thought it was cold and windy now. So check the weather before going, sunny days and rainy ones are totally different experience. Hotel beach was beautiful, but again, I didn’t get my Paloma cocktail after waiting for half an hour. They provided interesting shows in the evening , I pitifully missed it but you need to have a look, performer are quite passionate. And about transportation, you can choose either hotel’s pickup that is expensive but convenient, or the local bus ( i chose KTEL, it’s very comfortable but please check the timetable on the website). This place is distant to everywhere, you can use a nearby supermarket that has everything at a fair price. If possible, you’d better rent a car, which could significantly improve your experience . I didn’t enjoy myself this time, somehow because of my personal affairs, hopefully you have a good time there!

The resort’s amenities are equally impressive, with a spa that provides indulgent treatments, a well-equipped fitness center, and multiple pools perfect for lounging. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing retreat or a base to explore Crete, The Royal Senses delivers on every front. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring the island, with easy access to nearby beaches, charming villages, and historical sites. The staff also went above and beyond to offer recommendations and assist with arranging excursions. Overall, The Royal Senses Hotel is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic Cretan hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay in Crete. We stayed in Sunrise apartments in the beginning of June. First of all I'd like to say a huge thank you to Nicko and Tonya, the hotel manager and his wife. They are amazing people,very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They made us feel at home during our stay. The hotel itself is located on a hill, but that's what gives you the best view of sunset and sunrise. They have a beautiful rooftop terrace with sunbeds, umbrellas, tables and chairs. It's a Beautiful spot with sea and mountain views to watch the sunset and have dinner in a relaxing atmosphere. The room was very clean and spacious with everything you needed and it was cleaned 4 times during our stay(10 days). All bedding and towels changed every time they cleaned the room. The cleaner was amazing too. She did such a great job. The pool was very clean and very pleasant, the water check was done by Nicko daily. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The hotel was approximately a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minutes walk to the supermarket, which was quite good and had everything we needed. Restaurants and taverns are all located within walking distance,but if you want to rent a car or scooter, Nicko will help you with that too. He is very approachable and helpful. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation and highly recommend Sunrise apartments to other guests. Thank you Nicko for everything you have done for us and put up with us all 10 days and made our Crete experience unforgettable.

Apartment Stella Paradise by Checkin is very conveniently located in Hersonissos - the main city beach is just 5 minutes walk around a corner, 10 minutes of pleasant walk to the city promenade with restaurants and bars, and no more than 20 minutes walk along the coastal line of hotels, restaurants and small pebble beaches to the best nearest sandy beach of Sarandari. The apartments themselves are quite budget style, but at the same time is very comfortable accommodation option for travelers who appreciate the optimal combination of price and quality. Our room consisted of a small bedroom, and a living room with a sofa bed and a small kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge and kettle. For those who prefer to cook while traveling, there is a necessary minimum of cooking equipment, but we have ordered breakfasts, which were covered by Stella herself the owner of the apartments. I would like to say a special thank to Stella for all her help during our stay - she recommended wonderful restaurants and beaches, ordered taxi and table in the restaurant, and solved all the minor issues we had, this made travel planning very easy and made our stay very comfortable. Despite the fact that this is not a hotel but a complex of apartments, the room was cleaning every day. And a big advantage was the presence of a terrace where it was convenient to dry bathing suits after the beach, and drink a glass of wine in the evening. I will definitely stay here if I come to Hersonissos again.

I giving this review from my previous stays at this accommodation over the last 10 Years. Its always been a pleasant and convenient place to stay. Just one complaint though. I accidentally booked the wrong dates to stay but i managed to cancel a whole week before i was meant to stay. NO REFUND EVEN WITH A WEEKS NOTICE!  The hotel Just referred me to TRIP.COM And TRIP.COM just referred me to The hotel. It definitely soured my experience with a place i have stayed at before every time i come to visit
