The hotel boat's location is fantastic. Parliament, Margaret Island, and a wide variety of restaurants are all within easy walking distance. The accommodation itself, however, is very outdated. The booking confirmation is barely worth the paper it's printed on. We had specifically booked a river view room and received confirmation. In the end, though, they told us they were fully booked, and we were given a tiny room overlooking the dock wall (i.e., no view of anything). The advertised parking space turned out to be a public parking lot in Budapest's most expensive parking zone. You also won't find a hairdryer in the room. Breakfast was remarkably unremarkable. If you like retro style, you'll be happy. But apart from chlorine-based cleaning products, they haven't invested in anything here. They're milking this place dry.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Budapest Keleti train station, making it easy to travel around the city. It’s only about five tram stops to the city centre, and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. If you get a room facing the main road, you’ll also enjoy a great view of the train station. However, there are some downsides. The air conditioning doesn’t work during autumn and winter, so the only option for ventilation is to open the window. Unfortunately, the hotel is extremely noisy since it’s right next to a main road where police and ambulance sirens go off very frequently, making it hard to rest. Additionally, luggage storage isn’t free—you have to pay by the hour, which feels a bit inconvenient. Overall, it’s a great choice for location and convenience, but not ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet or comfort in cooler seasons.

I had previously emailed them requesting a room with a good view, and indeed, the hotel assigned me a high-floor room directly facing the Parliament building. The transportation is very convenient; there's a taxi stand right outside, and the metro station is only a few hundred meters away, making it easy to get anywhere. However, European hotels are generally quite small. If you don't have high expectations, it's certainly acceptable, though the hygiene was a bit subpar – there was a spider that seemed to have been living there for quite some time.

The hotel generally felt quite dated. We stayed on the 6th floor, and the showerhead couldn't be fixed to the wall, which made showering very inconvenient. After the first night of our two-night stay, we spoke with the staff, and thankfully, they moved us to a different room. The breakfast area has two sections. If guest numbers are low, only section B is open, which results in a rather limited and mediocre breakfast spread. Section A was a bit more acceptable. While walking to tourist attractions was quite a distance, bus access was convenient.

Hotel had everything we needed and the staffs were really nice! It is also very near a metro station, supermarket, and good food. Only down side is that the carpet is slightly stained (might be hard to maintain), otherwise all other facilities was really clean and nice. Also note that it might not be for light sleepers as the road sounds are loud and every hour you’ll get big honking/sirens wailing.

I spent three nights at the Hampton by Hilton and had a wonderful stay. The hotel’s location is ideal, as most attractions are within easy walking distance. The property is clean and well maintained, offering a comfortable base for exploring Budapest. While the double bed felt a little small, the sofa bed was spacious and very comfortable, making it suitable for three adults. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good variety, and I appreciated the convenience of water dispensers on every floor. Overall, an excellent choice that I would gladly return to on a future visit to Budapest.

The hotel is right on the Buda fisherman bastion the best location,a little pricey. Disappointed due to no air conditioning hotel said they put off air conditioning during this season Starting October. Most of Europe does this. They instructed us to just open windows,if a person has respiratory issues it would affect their breathing. The temperature of the room is not consistent near the window is cold away from the window is hot, Otherwise it is a good place to stay.

The location was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, noise from the hallway was constantly audible, and an outdoor light that seemed to be motion-activated kept turning on and off throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep.

Very quiet location which suited us perfectly, up by the Castle and Fisherman’s area. Served by Bus16 (carefull with bus 16A). Risco Italian round the corner is fantastic, no bars to speak of within 10 mins walk. We were located just up from main hotel in the ‘petite’ location, Room 7 was lovely, comfy bed, lovely bathroom and free minibar is a nice touch. Staff at main hotel were lovely, breakfast was fantastic. Thoroughly deserves its Tripadvisor ratings.

RRumpunchqueenMy recent stay at the Kozmo Hotel Suites and Spa in Budapest was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the experience was luxurious and flawless. Here’s why this hotel deserves all five stars: 1. Warm Welcome and Check-in: Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly and attentive staff who immediately made us feel at home. The check-in process was seamless, and they provided us with a helpful overview of the hotel’s amenities, spa services, and nearby attractions. The lobby itself is stunning, with modern decor and a welcoming atmosphere. 2. The Room: We stayed in one of the Kozmo Rooms, which was beautifully appointed with elegant, contemporary furnishings. The spaciousness of the room was impressive, with a separate living area, a comfortable king-size bed, and floor-to-ceiling windows that offered breathtaking views of the city. The room was immaculately clean, and the design was both stylish and practical. Every detail, from the plush linens to the luxurious bathroom amenities, screamed luxury. 3. The Spa: The spa at Kozmo Hotel is truly a hidden gem! After long days of exploring the city, we treated ourselves to a massage and some time in the sauna. The staff at the spa were professional and the treatments were incredibly relaxing. The heated pool and whirlpool were the perfect spots to unwind, and the ambiance in the spa area was tranquil, with soft lighting and calming music. 5. Location: The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Budapest. It’s situated in the heart of the city, within walking distance to many of the major attractions, including the Danube River, Parliament, and St. Stephen’s Basilica. There are also plenty of cafés and shops nearby, making it easy to experience the best of Budapest’s culture and cuisine. 6 Exceptional Service: What truly sets Kozmo Hotel apart is the level of service. Every staff member we encountered was courteous, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay. They provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities, and they were always ready to assist with any request we had. Final Thoughts: Kozmo Hotel Suites and Spa is the perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and top-tier service. Whether you’re visiting Budapest for leisure or business, this hotel provides a luxurious retreat in the heart of the city. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly five-star experience. We can’t wait to return!

BBARZAN ISMAELI had a wonderful experience staying at the Danubius Hotel Hungaria City Center. The location was perfect — close to the city center and very convenient for public transportation. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. MM47685****Carlton Hotel is truly excellent. Its location is superb, being very close to Buda Castle, just a 5-minute walk away, and only 200 meters from the western end of the Széchenyi Chain Bridge. While not a large hotel, it is exceptionally clean, and the service is outstanding. Despite arriving early in the morning, well before the standard 3 PM check-in time, the reception staff were incredibly accommodating and allowed me to check in at 11 AM. The room was modern and impeccably clean. Upon check-out, Ms. Reka not only gifted me with honey but also kindly arranged a taxi for me. Carlton Hotel truly stands out as one of the best hotels here. I will definitely be returning on my next visit.

CCengweiParking is available, though it's a third-party lot roughly 100 meters from the hotel, but it's free for guests. Despite being located right next to a main road, the hotel's soundproofing is quite good, so it's not noisy. The soundproofing in the rooms is also decent. Breakfast was acceptable; you can certainly fill up. However, during exhibitions at the New International Expo Center, the hotel's value for money is extremely poor. Prices are heavily inflated, costing 500-600 RMB per night, whereas normally around 200 RMB would be sufficient.

MMirabdulOur recent stay at the Pullman Budapest was largely positive, though with a couple of minor hiccups. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the fantastic service and the hotel's unexpected kindness in upgrading our room. The room itself was quite stylish and comfortable, featuring a clean, minimalist aesthetic with a large, inviting bed and crisp white linens, as seen in the photo. The artistic wall mural behind the bed added a unique touch of warmth and color to the space. The bathroom, which appears to be integrated into the room's design, was modern and well-appointed with a sleek sink and ample towel storage. However, our initial experience was marred by a blocked sink in our upgraded room, which, while frustrating, was resolved within two days. Another somewhat unusual incident occurred late one night when we requested a refill for our water bottles; we were asked to bring the bottles down to the reception for refilling, which felt a bit unconventional for a hotel of this caliber. Despite these minor issues, the Pullman Budapest proved to be a decent hotel, offering good service and comfortable accommodations.

DDror MalkaThe breakfast is of high quality, offering a wide variety of food options that cater to different preferences. The hotel staff provided very good and prompt service throughout the stay. While the hotel is located slightly outside the city center, it is conveniently situated directly on a metro line, with only 3–4 stops to the city center, which takes approximately 10–15 minutes. Regarding airport access: for those traveling light (e.g., with a trolley suitcase), public transportation is a convenient option, with a direct bus to the city center and then metro, total travel time around 50 minutes. For those with heavier luggage, it is recommended to use a taxi for comfort and convenience. The hotel is also next to a large shopping mall and several supermarkets and casual dining options, although higher-quality restaurants are found in the city center. The hotel rooms are adequate and acceptable, with generally fair cleanliness. The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center with a wide variety of machines, allowing for a full-body workout. Additionally, the hotel has a pleasant swimming pool and a very professional and well-heated sauna, which enhances the overall wellness experience. The presence of water dispensers both in the gym and near the sauna is highly appreciated and essential for guest safety, helping to prevent dehydration.
