I recommended traveling to Ureshino bus center (not interchange*) by bus from Hakata bus terminal if you weren't driving. I stayed in their standard room type. Bathing at their shared onsen was an experience. The facility was very clean. Ureshino onsen water would be what you came here for. The amenities were nice too. They offered excellent breakfast at 2,200 yen. It was a buffet line using local ingredients. While in the area try Yococho, izakaya sampo, and buy some ureshino green tea.
The facilities are old, it's just an old hot spring hotel, and the transportation is inconvenient. For someone who doesn't know Japanese yen and doesn't know English well, how can he arrange for free pick-up? 1,600 yuan including breakfast and dinner is really not cost-effective. Dinner is a Japanese meal, the food is OK, but I saw the Koreans at the next table eating beef barbecue. The key point is: the waiter asked if I wanted a drink, I asked if it was included in the package, she said: Yes, and recommended beer to me, so I ordered one. As a result, when I checked out the next day, I was asked for money. I was very angry at the time. When I argued with them, they just smiled and put the bill in front of me. This hotel is small but has everything you need. It's comfortable and clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly. They always greet you with a smile and a nod when you enter the lobby, which is a nice touch. On the first floor, they serve a complimentary breakfast buffet in the mornings, which I found to have a good variety of options. At other times, it seems to be available as a reservable study room (I'm not sure if there's a fee) with free tea, perfect for reading or working. Its location right next to Saga Station is super convenient. Supermarkets and restaurants seem to be concentrated in this area, and the bus center is also nearby. Overall, it's a really good value for money hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Saga for a leisurely trip.
The hotel lobby is decorated with many vintage European items, which are exquisite. The lobby music is romantic. The rooms are spacious and the air conditioning is comfortable. The hot spring bath leaves the skin smooth and the mind refreshed. Although the breakfast selection is limited, the quality is better than many five-star hotels.
The hotel's close proximity to the station makes getting around incredibly convenient. The room was clean and well-maintained. It's within walking distance to Takeo City Library and Takeo Onsen, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. The Wagyu beef was excellent value for money, and I'd definitely recommend trying the local sake too.

Stayed there for two nights as no choice of hotels due to the balloon event.
the twin room is so small and hygiene was not that good, we saw a cockroach in the lobby, probably due to the restaurant next to it.
We drove 1.5 hours from Hakata to this hotel, quick far away. The osen hotel is pretty large and have public and private osen bath to choose from.
Originally we booked the room with hot spring both but have been checked into a different room with a separate bath tub only. The hotel insisted this is the same room type and need to charge additional charge to upgrade to the better room that can have a separate hot spring bath.
I called Trip.com and they admitted that there is some confusion on the room type and has agreed to pay for the extra charge to upgrade to the better room.
So finally we paid the upgrade charge and moved to the better room with the hot spring bath. So overall it was still a very good experience. Thanks for Trip.com’s commitment to get the customer a better experience.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I've always wanted to soak in a seaside hot spring, and I'm super satisfied.
Get off at JR Hizen-Oura Station and take the hotel shuttle bus.
The men's and women's open-air hot springs are interchangeable, but they are both located at a great location with a view of the sea.
There is also a sea torii gate nearby. The bus leaves every hour. The last bus is around 17:00, so be sure to check the time.
I recently stayed at this hotel, and one of the best aspects was its proximity to the train station. It took me only a few minutes to walk there, making my travel around the city hassle-free. The convenience of having the train station nearby meant I could easily access all the main attractions without the need for taxis or long walks. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Overall, the location made my stay very enjoyable and efficient, especially for someone like me who prefers public transportation.

AAmberriver82On my recent 8-day solo trip to Japan, among all the hotels I booked, yours was the most expensive and the one I had the highest hopes for. However, my actual stay was incredibly disappointing. This significant letdown compels me to provide serious feedback — your hotel utterly betrayed my trust.
Two weeks before my trip, I booked a sea view room at your hotel via the Trip.com app and specifically requested a high-floor sea view room in the booking notes. My primary goal was to ensure a superior sea view experience during my stay. I later found out that your hotel's guest rooms are located on floors 4-9. However, upon check-in, the front desk directly assigned me the lowest available room on the 4th floor. This completely contradicted my primary request when booking and significantly diminished the value of a 'sea view room'.
Upon realizing the issue, I immediately contacted the front desk, hoping to be moved to a higher floor, even just a few floors up to improve the sea view. However, I was informed that 'an additional fee would be required to switch to a higher floor.' This left me particularly incensed:
1. If your hotel has a tiered pricing structure for sea view rooms based on floor level, this policy should be clearly stated on the booking page, including the 'total range of guest room floors' and the 'floor range included in the corresponding price,' rather than concealing crucial information and misleading consumers. To demand extra payment only after check-in clearly demonstrates a lack of integrity.
2. I booked two weeks in advance and specifically noted my high-floor preference; this was not a last-minute, unreasonable request. Even if an adjustment wasn't possible due to full occupancy, a reasonable explanation should have been provided. However, the front desk offered no further explanation, simply presenting 'paying extra' as the only solution. This dismissive and profit-driven service attitude starkly contradicts your hotel's premium pricing and positioning and undermines guests' trust.
Your hotel projects an image of 'quality service' through its high pricing, yet in reality, it conceals information and implicitly demands extra payment. This is completely unacceptable to me. I strongly urge your hotel to address the following issues:
1. Disclose your floor-based pricing rules to provide a transparent booking environment for consumers.
2. Issue a formal apology to me for this service failure and optimize your front desk service procedures to prevent future guests from experiencing similar issues.

Two charming young ladies had sweet smiles and were very welcoming; Mr. Matsufuji was incredibly supportive and helpful, solving our problems and ensuring we had a worry-free trip. There was also a kind foreign gentleman who was always ready to assist. In short, Fairfield's service left us with unforgettable memories, and these wonderful staff members are why we would choose the Fairfield brand again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Ureshino.

EEvon Foo.We chose to stay here because hotels in Fukuoka were very expensive, and since we had the JR Pass, this location right beside the Tosu station was super convenient. The room was very clean, and the facilities were great — especially the included breakfast! It was a wonderful chance to try local Japanese dishes, and I really enjoyed it. The breakfast starts as early as 6:30am, which was very thoughtful — I still remember rushing to catch the 6:50am train to Fukuoka after eating, and I even had 5 minutes to spare, haha!
Staff were friendly and helpful, though English communication was a bit more limited — probably because it’s not a major station area. Still, everyone had a great attitude and tried their best. Overall, a very satisfying stay!

YYifan63There is a direct bus from Takeo to the hotel entrance, or you can take a bus to Ureshino Station to reach the hotel. The hotel is 10 stories high and is the tallest building in the area. It is very eye-catching. There is a tea and rest area on the ground floor. All toiletries must be taken to the room on the ground floor. The hot spring is on the 10th floor. It is divided into indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor scenery is very good. You can enjoy the city scenery while taking a hot spring bath.
GGuest Uservery lovely place! it is new (opened in July 2025). The service from when your car is in the porch (There's a valet), till check out, it was perfect. The onsen was great. It's not as warm as the others but it makes staying in the onsen longer possible. Was pleasantly surprised about the complementary dinner and breakfast! Dinner was great and was paced out so it was just nice. For breakfast it was a buffet spread that was great! I love the selection and freshness. It is in between mountains so the drive might be long but so worth it for the price
