2 In early morning, we interrupted you on a lunch course with a bath on Sunday. The location is located on the height of Yamate in Yukoto Onsen hot spring, and there is an entrance from the national route to the back street, so if you don't pay attention, you will pass by. There is a building at the top of the slope of the steep slope of the exclusive installation road. It was a car use, but when you arrive at the hotel, the staff will meet you. It was only lunch, but it was a care. Once I received tea service in the lounge, the staff here is a blonde woman, Japanese is ok. Just came up the steep slope, and the view from the lounge is very good. When I moved to the restaurant because I was called ready, only I 々 a pair in a wide space. I was wrapped in a sorry mood. The lunch you received was a Japanese dish with a small pot. I felt so much because I heard that there were many dishes that were served a little bit on a small vessel, and it was a popular course for women. However, there was an impression that the small bowl dishes had many things to make, and it was said that this area was suitable for the price. After lunch, the next bath. The black clothes male staff at the front desk gave us a guide to the public bath. The bath consists of a large inner bath and an open air surrounded by a wall, a sauna for 4~5 people, and the hot water is wet overall. I think the quality of the spring is weak alkaline spring, but it seems to be a hot water that can feel a little wet. The sauna is a general dry sauna and has a small water bath. 1 I enjoyed the bath for about an hour and was seen by several staff as well as when I came and left the hotel. It was a stay of about 3 hours in total, but it was more than meals and baths, and it was a concern for each staff. It is never a cheap inn, but considering the quality of the service, I think most of the guests are convinced and returned. I think there are few opportunities to use at the accommodation because the house is close, but I feel like staying once. Thank you.

When visiting Kyoto, we wanted to enjoy some time in an onsen resort so we decided to spend two nights in Ogoto Onsen. After checking the details in their website, we booked a ”Biwa no kaze”room with private onsen and view of Lake Biwako. And we were not disappointed. The room looks newly renovated, and is very spacious with two beds and sitting area plus a tatami room. They offer different dinner packages, and we have chosen crab with steak as the main dishes for the first night, and lobster with shabu-shabu the second night. The foods were of very high quality, tasted and looked very nice. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection of different items. The ryokan is excellent in nearly all aspects. We would stay here again when we next visit Kyoto.

Ok. First of all leave your expectations at home expecting hotel level service. Once you've done that if you want a cheap but clean place to stay this is it. This is a seinenkan - a facility for youth and youth-related organizations to conduct independent study and recreational activities, many of which have basic accommodation facilities but higher grade facilities than youth hostels. They are located all over Japan. I stayed in a tatami mat room on a floor with shared toilet facilities. The ground floor has a large communal bath - obviously separate for male and females. They have lights out at 11 p.m. and guests must return by the same time. There is a very modern cafe onsite serving cheap breakfasts (see photos) but the cafe closes by 6 p.m. There is a convenience store 10 minutes walk away so I suggest you buy snacks and beverages en route from JR Ishiyama station. For dinner, there is a family restaurant - good value and okay food - about 6 minutes walk away. The seinenkan is located on a small island by a historic bridge. The views of the river inlet flowing into the main Lake Biwa is relaxing, lots of bird wildlife, and lots of rowers (the seinenkan is a water sports facility too). and the sunrise and sunset views are lovely. The staff are very kind. It cost me ¥5,500 for one night and I will stay there again if I have the opportunity.

We interrupted at the best time of the cherry blossoms. We stayed in the Castle View twin room on the 5 floor. Hikone Jo castle came from the window of the room, and the sky was clear without a cloud, and I spent this unbelievable bliss. Dinner was made of seafood iron plate. Color 々 arranged, fun and very delicious. Breakfast buffet was good. It was boiling hot water, but there was a large bath, so I could relax.

Nestled in the heart of Konan, Hotel Sun Crest is a poetic haven. Its location, adorned with 4 stars, unveils a serene canvas in Iwanechuo. Cleanliness, a masterpiece, claims 4.5 stars, each corner brushed with meticulous care. The staff's charm, akin to a subtle melody, earns a modest 4 stars, adding a harmonious note to the sojourn. A symphony of value echoes with 4.5 stars, a fusion of quality and affordability. The facilities, a choreography of comfort, dance gracefully with 4.5 stars, creating an opulent performance. Amidst this artistic tapestry, the breakfast tableau is a radiant 5-star spectacle, a crescendo of flavors. However, stealing the spotlight is the spacious single occupancy room—a sanctuary of tranquility. Hotel Sun Crest, an aesthetic voyage, invites patrons to savor the blend of practicality and allure in the heart of Konan.

It's very close to the station, and the breakfast is quite rich. Although the public bathroom on the first floor is small, it is very comfortable to take a dip in winter. Affordable price and high cost performance.

Great option for visiting the Shirahige Shrine. The host offered a ride in the early morning after knowing we were planning to go, which was extremely kind of him. Room was very spacious and clean, with a nice view. Very close to the station and easy to find. The only thing I would note is that there was only one bath. We arrived around 830pm and planned to take the bath shortly, but by the time we settled and got downstairs (around 9pm), someone else was using it so we couldn't get in until after 930. It was a shame that we couldn't enjoy the hot bath as much as we wanted as we tried to hurry out for the next group since they were waiting after us but I'm not sure if they were able to use it as the bath closes at 10pm.
