GGuest UserWe booked the 2-bedroom family suite with a living room. The accommodation was very good: clean and well-equipped. The food at the hotel is excellent: for breakfast, you get a choice of one dish with a juice and a coffee. I really liked the morning kuy tiev, but the portion was a bit small; the other dishes were very good. For dinner, I tried the pepper steak with fries, which was super tasty. The staff is very friendly, smiling, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at Château Kampot.

LLoung HorI stayed at AHHA Boutique Kampot with friends and family and had a good overall experience. The cleanliness was excellent—the rooms and common areas were very well maintained.
The location is convenient for getting around Kampot, and the service was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The staff made us feel welcome and comfortable.
The amenities were okay but a bit basic, so there’s still some room for improvement. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay and suitable for both friends and family trips.

I would not recommend booking tours from the hotel as they may not be guides , just drivers that don’t speak your language.
It’s also convenient to High Tide Doggy Pub, which I recommend to visit.

YYigit DI can confidently say this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at so far in Cambodia. It’s located in a very central area, within walking distance to the main attractions.
The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The air conditioning works perfectly and cools the room very well. There is a smart TV with internet access, and it runs smoothly without any issues.
The reception staff are professional and helpful. They clearly know what they’re doing and are always ready to assist. The hotel also provides motorcycle parking. At night, security takes the motorcycles inside and places them back outside in the morning, which I really appreciated from a safety perspective.
There is an elevator in the building, which is convenient. This is my second stay at this hotel, and they even recognized me upon check-in. Although check-in is officially at 2 PM, they kindly gave me my room at 12 PM.
Hot water is available with no problems. My room also had a balcony, which is great if you want to step outside and get some fresh air. Both the room itself and the bathroom are quite spacious.
The price is also very reasonable. Honestly, under these conditions, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in the Kampot area. If you’re looking for a clean, reliable, centrally located hotel without unpleasant surprises, I highly recommend staying here.

IIlvaplevoirI stayed four nights at Sokchea Kampot Hotel in Kampot. This wasn’t my first time — last year I stayed 10 nights and had a good experience. Unfortunately, this visit felt different. On my first day, after checking in around 3pm and going out for dinner, I returned to find a cockroach walking on my bed — bigger than I would ever want to see. Staff removed it, but it was hard to relax that night. The next day I asked for the sheets to be changed. They only made the bed, and the same stain was still there. After asking a second time and explaining why, they finally replaced them.
That same day, there was no proper housekeeping. The bathroom trash was not emptied, and I had to ask for toilet paper as it wasn’t replaced. For a hotel of this type, I don’t think that’s acceptable. There is also construction next to the hotel, with loud noise from 8am to 5pm, making it less relaxing — especially when trying to enjoy the pool, which is probably the hotel’s main positive point

AAnonymous UserThe places are good compared to the cheap price, I love the river front where you can see the view and the location also near the city, the staff are helpful. It’s worth the money to spend on this place and AC also works well, one thing about that I don’t like was that it’s near the driving road so I can hear very loud vehicles driving around so disturbing.

IIlvaplevoirI recently stayed at Kampot Green Mango Bungalow for two nights and it was truly a memorable experience. The bungalows are located about 7 km from the center of Kampot, with a taxi or tuk-tuk ride to town costing around 12,000–14,000 riel.
What really sets this place apart is the staff — especially the owners. They are simply incredible: tireless, generous, and welcoming beyond words. The care and attention they put into their service made our stay feel personal and truly special.
The accommodation itself is comfortable and peaceful, providing a relaxing environment after a day exploring Kampot. The bungalow I stayed in is supposedly the most expensive and “premium” option they offer. While it is spacious, the cleanliness could be improved: there was noticeable dust, cobwebs on headboards and bedside tables, and spiders in the bathroom and on the ceiling. This is the only negative aspect, and it’s worth noting that better cleaning would make the experience fully match the premium price.
Overall, despite this small issue, my stay was wonderful. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat or a friendly, homey stay, Kampot Green Mango Bungalow is highly recommended — especially because of the owners’ warmth and dedication
