What a beautiful hotel. The location was perfect near several walkable sight seeing destinations and attractions. Beautiful time of year to see blooming cherry blossom trees. Love the spaciousness of the room we were in that had two beds. We did book the room with an ocean view. Which we got to see fireworks, Odongdo Island and Jasan Sunrise Pavilion area. They do have great restaurants and cafes very near by. To include the very lovely cafe on premises which we enjoyed indulging on their chocolate ice cream they served so beautifully. The only thing which is out of the hotels control is its SLOW moving elevators which they only have 3 for its grand size. Other than that, the staff were super friendly and the free parking was a plus. Also a plus, is they have a few restaurants right out its doors to include a GS25 convenience store. I definitely would recommend this hotel for your Yeosu adventures.

After a satisfying stay at Sono Felice Del Pino in Goseong, Gangwon Province last winter, we decided to visit Jindo Sol Beach this summer. The resort itself was perfect: from the immaculate facilities and stunning landscaping to the friendly service provided by the front desk staff, everything was exceptional. However, our evening was completely ruined by a very unpleasant experience at one of the on-site chicken restaurants. When I went down to place a takeout order, I was told to return in 15 minutes. Upon my return, I was informed that my order had been missed and was asked to wait an additional 5 minutes. However, it took much longer than 5 minutes before our food was finally brought out. I completely understand that mistakes happen, so I wasn't upset simply because my order was initially missed. However, what truly disappointed and angered me was the staff member's attitude: instead of even a simple apology, they unceremoniously dropped the food on the table without a word and walked away. I wasn't asking for anything extraordinary; I simply expected my order to be ready on time. And if an order is missed, I believe a basic courtesy, even a simple apology, is standard practice for anyone in business. I even questioned if I was being overly sensitive, but after checking the reviews for this particular restaurant, I found numerous accounts of similar experiences from other customers. Of course, I understand that Sol Beach merely has a contractual relationship with this specific vendor. However, given the numerous promotional videos for this particular establishment found throughout the resort, I believe Sol Beach has a responsibility to oversee its operations to some extent, if only to protect its own image. Many reviews highlighted the sentiment that customers are treated without basic courtesy, as if they are merely one-time visitors who will buy once and never return. Is it fair to assume that these numerous customers will only visit Sol Beach once? It's hard to argue that poor management of these affiliated establishments won't directly affect Sono Resort's revenue. Overall Verdict: Jindo Sol Beach staff and facilities were perfect, but the service at the affiliated vendor was appalling. *(Note: The other on-site establishment, which would have been pictured here, provided excellent service. Please excuse the absence of photos.)

The facilities were incredibly clean, making for a very comfortable stay. The room was spotless, and the sauna was meticulously maintained by a staff member who constantly cleaned the fixtures. It’s the first time I've seen a sauna without a single hair! The cypress wood bath in the sauna smelled wonderful and was so refreshing. I used the sauna both on the evening of my arrival and the next morning – I wish there was a discount for repeat use! After the sauna, there are massage chairs on the same floor with an ocean view, and best of all, they're free! I lost count of how many times I used them. I also really enjoyed the breakfast. Some reviews mentioned a lack of variety, but I found it to be very substantial. They had Yeosu specialties like *gat-kimchi* and *gejang* (marinated crabs), along with other local dishes, and everything was delicious without being overly seasoned. It really made me feel like I was truly in Yeosu. Overall, the service was excellent. When I called the front desk about food waste from my late-night snack, they promptly came to collect it. And at checkout, I even received a cute cookie! Staying at Hidden Bay reminded me of some regional hotels in Japan. It truly feels like a hotel firmly rooted in local character. Thanks to this, I had a truly wonderful and relaxing time, and I'll definitely be back when I visit Yeosu again. (This is a genuine review from my own pocket!)

I visited after the Hwasun Red Cliffs tour. Perhaps because it was remodeled, the facilities were clean and the bedding was nice and fluffy, so I slept well. When I woke up the next day and enjoyed the sauna at the hot spring, my fatigue was completely relieved. There are a lot of things to do in the resort, such as a game room, bowling alley, and karaoke room, and there was also BBQ chicken, so I enjoyed my meal. I couldn't go to Aquana because I was tired, but I plan to use it the next time I visit. It's a shame that I couldn't use the outdoor hot springs because it was the off-season. But overall, I was satisfied! There's Gwangju Lake Park nearby, so it's great for a walk~

I am satisfied with everything, from cleanliness and friendliness to the location. Another thing I am satisfied with is the swimming pool; the kids absolutely love it.

The issue with this hotel room is that when you adjust the temperature, the air conditioner/heater makes consistent and weird noises. I stayed in a corner room on the 6th floor, and the shower was clogged. Not to mention, skip the breakfast—it’s not worth the money, as there’s barely anything to eat. The staff were attentive, but overall, this hotel is not recommended.

Great location. I didn't eat the breakfast buffet because it was expensive. It seems like it's getting more expensive, but if the menu is really satisfying, I'd like to eat it next time.

The sunset while sitting on the veranda and drinking beer is really amazing. I went to eat Eldorado Kamakat Chicken, but the day I went is a market day, so ... The boss is on vacation.. ㅜ I'm gonna try again. So good !!

The ultimate paid-for stay I had high expectations for this my third visit, but overall, I was very disappointed. My previous two stays were ocean views, but this time, I had a forest view, and the view of the artificial bamboo seemed a bit lacking. I had a child, so when I moved the bed to put it together, a lot of ramen crumbs came out, which was disappointing for the hygiene. The most disappointing thing was that the surrounding area was blocked by Winter Village, blocking any ocean views. Mankai was also expensive, and I had to pay at a kiosk and serve myself, which was disappointing. Parking was inconvenient after eating at an outside restaurant, and I ended up taking a taxi on my second night. Due to the numerous inconveniences, I'll probably choose a different accommodation next time.

I used it for a business trip. It was in front of the Peace Square, so it had a nice atmosphere. It was nice to just take a walk. There are some good restaurants in front of the hotel. The clam and octopus salad is the best... haha What's disappointing is that I made a reservation that included the breakfast menu, but the counter was so adamant that they thought I had made a reservation by mistake and said it wasn't available... I was embarrassed. If I hadn't brought a printed copy of the reservation email, I would have starved. You can't make a mistake like this~

밍두사랑귬Since there are no hotels above 4 stars in Mokpo, I moved to Yeongam and stayed there. Yeongam and Mokpo are so close that the location was the same, and the accommodation was clean. (The sheets were a little torn, but that's okay.) Cleanliness is the most important! There were no inconveniences related to the accommodation, but when I arrived on the day, there was a wedding at the hotel. The parking lot was full. There was a lot of double parking. The hotel definitely needs to improve this part. They park in front of the lobby, which is really I've never seen this before in all the hotels and resorts. Really, guests should use a different place than the parking lot. The hotel needs to manage it.

AAnonymous UserIt is in a great location for traveling to Haenam, Jindo, and Mokpo, and since it was newly remodeled, it was clean and nice. Above all, it was a great place to spend the Chuseok holiday quietly. As it is a remodeled old building, the noise in the hallway is on the louder side. Since it was the first stay after opening, there was a minor incident during the preparation process, but thanks to the kind and quick response, I had a good rest. I think I will stay here again next time.

GGuest UserIt was the same as the picture. It was spacious and comfortable. There were all restaurants and marts nearby. It was nice to see. I stayed in No. 208, but the coffee pot dryer was broken and it didn't work. Fortunately, there was a water purifier right in front of the room. ㅋ I should have told the boss, but I couldn't tell him because he was empty. I'm going to go to Wando again next time.

PP Y COcean Jacuzzi Suite is fabulous! Stunning views, warm & modern layout, versatile space, and the jacuzzi is top-notch. Perfect for couples but with the benefit of the extra two twin beds that can be partitioned off from the main common space w/ a separate bathroom. Look at the hotel's dedicated website for the actual floorplan since it's hard to tell on aggregate sites. It's definitely a tourist hotel which means lots of people, especially on the weekends, though the room is ultra quiet. Patience is needed for the elevators since there are so many floors, and those afraid of heights need to know that while the views from the suite are spectacular you definitely feel it, especially on the outdoor balcony or by the bay windows! Restaurant & convenience store downstairs and a great area to stroll at night since it's in the Expo area and everything is lit up. For the rate, this is an aboslute banger of a deal depending on when you book:)

GGuest UserFantastic stay in Yeosu – Spacious villas and great service We enjoyed a wonderful 5-night stay (May 14–19, 2026) at the Marine Terrace Pool Villa. This 3-star property is perfectly located on a beautiful bay. We stayed in the Ocean 4 and Marine 4 villas; they were very spacious, featured 2 large beds, and had equipped kitchens. A real highlight was the private pool in each villa, which we could heat to 36°C—the perfect way to relax after days spent hiking and visiting temples. The only downside was that the main swimming pool wasn’t open yet during our visit. The 2 staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Communication via translation apps and gestures worked perfectly well—definitely better than our Korean! It was a pleasure to stay in such a setting; we were the only Western guests among several local Korean families. We highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Yeosu!
