We are writing to express our disappointment regarding our recent stay. During booking, we explicitly requested a quiet room; however, we were assigned a connecting room. Unfortunately, due to the thin separation, we could hear the neighboring guests talking and moving items late into the night, which resulted in a sleepless night for us. While we understand the hotel was fully booked when we raised this with the front desk, we are frustrated that no alternative solution or assistance could be provided at the time.

The hotel's strengths are the spacious rooms and the presence of a bathtub, making for a generally comfortable stay. The cleanliness was acceptable and met basic standards, but the overall environment was quite ordinary, with nothing particularly special about it. The only minor letdown was the service details: even though we booked a triple room, they only provided two sets of toothbrushes and bath towels. We were even charged an extra RM5 for an additional bath towel, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, if you're looking for a short stay and prioritize space and basic comfort, this hotel is a decent option, but there's room for improvement in terms of service details.

We had a great 3 days 2 nights stay at Sunway Lost World Hotel 🤍 The room was super spacious and felt quite new, which made the stay really comfortable. The hallway is a bit older, but it didn’t affect our overall experience. Loved the small details in the room too, the plugs come with USB charging ports. Hospitality from all the staff was excellent, everyone was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also got free 2-night night park and hot spring tickets, plus 35% off day park tickets, which was such a good deal. Breakfast was so-so, but okay lah. Nothing fancy, but still decent enough to start the day. Honestly, at least 2 days are needed to properly enjoy everything because one day can be quite tiring. We also highly recommend adding the RM25 Malayan Express Lane. It really helps save time and lets you enjoy more rides (both water and dry attractions). Overall, a very enjoyable and value-for-money stay. Would definitely recommend 👍

The building looks normal but the interior made up for it. Looks new and rooms are clean. However, they can improve on the lift to accommodate crowd as I experience stopping at almost all level during check-out time. Service was good as I requested to have my pillow case changed after my 1st night as it smelled a little funky. Overall, good experience.

New hotel- great value for those travelling to Ipoh. You’ll need a vehicle to move around or at least use grab. The only thing I wanted to comment is that the staff should mask up, especially if they’re sick. When I checked in, the staff looked really sick and had snot hanging on his nose. All these happened while handling my check in. It was traumatising for me. The hotel should provide hand sanitisers too. The room is comfy however the beds are a bit too hard. Each need should come with two pillows, even those single beds.

Hotel was new and clean. Layout of rooms was proper and spacious, beds were decently firm which offer good rest. Bathroom a little small and lack of hooks for hanging. Kitchen is well equipped for all necessary. Staffs (front office) were friendly and helpful. The mini mart (open till 2am) was well stock that added points of emergency need. Overall I give 5 star. The room rate was affordable and included free breakfast. The booking was actually for two people, but I stayed alone. There are a few areas that could be improved. The room looked quite worn out, and the hygiene could be better. The bedsheet had stains that could not be cleaned off. The water pressure was also very low. Unfortunately, my room was facing a shop lot with a disco, and the loud music and vibrations continued until around 2am, making it difficult to sleep. On the positive side, the hotel provided two bottles of water, coffee, toothbrushes, and shower caps. Two small bottles of shower gel and shampoo were also provided, although there was no tissue box in the room. Security felt good, with a standard hotel door lock system and lift access restricted to room card holders only. The breakfast was good, with a standard Malaysian-style selection. Considering the room rate, it felt quite generous. They also provide basement parking, which is very convenient for guests traveling by car.

Overall nice, room spacious, bed clean and pillow fluffy.toilet really clean.love the interior design of the room. Pool ok la, but there were other few families member conquer the pool and let their children make the pool as swim competition and theirs only swim all the space.parents no common sense to others kids.

Booked this hotel last minute for a spontaneous trip to Ipoh and it turned out to be a pleasant stay. Free basement parking was available, which made things very convenient for those who are driving like u. The room was comfortable and satisfactory for the price paid. The location is also close enough to town and easily accessible by car. There’s also a lovely café on the ground floor — a nice bonus for coffee lovers. Overall, a good option for a short getaway.

My kids really enjoyed the cereal, bihun goreng, bread with jam, and the pastries. Plus, near the hotel, there were plenty of restaurant and kiosk options around the Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah area. At night, you can rent bicycles, buggies, and other vehicles to ride around the roundabout—it was so much fun! There was even a small train, which the kids absolutely loved. In the morning, after our wonderful breakfast, my kids and I went back to the roundabout for a brisk walk and spent some time at the playground. It was really enjoyable and a great way to start the day. I would also like to send my appreciation to Trip.com customer service.
