GGuest UserThe room is a little small and a little cold! Everything else is fine 😅 basically satisfied. The surrounding environment is relatively quiet. Because it is far away from the city, there are no shopping or dining stores. You can only order food in the hotel and send it to the room or go to the bar.
AAlbertjeWe had a super-show, a night with breakfast and dinner for a pricing, and we were in the first place a little sceptical, but this stay exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the beds were beautiful. In the restaurant there was no extensive map (you had a choice from four main dishes), but it was beautiful! Really a top cook! But with breakfast we were totally surprised, there was no no to sell! We give this hotel a thick 10!
Nice tip: The hotel is located on the Hanze city path, ideal for (for us) walkers.
GGuest UserMy husband and I stayed one night at the hotel after a day of shopping at the mall, which is right next to it. The room looked neat, and I was so happy that there was an 'adapted' shower and toilet, allowing me to shower comfortably (as I'm wheelchair-dependent). In my opinion, the room was a bit on the small side; I couldn't get behind the bed with my wheelchair, and there was a chair next to the desk that was slightly in the way. The beds were lovely, but the pillows, unfortunately, were far too thin for our liking and really uncomfortable. The service was good, we just missed some information. We rarely stay in hotels, so when we got the key cards for the room and went into the elevator to the 7th floor, it kept refusing to go. It turned out we had to scan the card first, and then select the floor (this wasn't told to us, unfortunately). Breakfast was excellent! Delicious fresh rolls and plenty of choices for toppings. Yes, we are really satisfied!
GGuest UserThe room is still a bit special, there is no disposable toiletries, you need to bring your own. The room I lived in was a house facing the street, a bit like the feeling of the old hometown along the street when I was a child. Breakfast is generally the same, Ctrip said breakfast 12.5 Europe, pay 3 euros to the store, but actually pay 19.5 Europe at the store, I don't understand.
GGuest UserThere are over a dozen suites, all independent bungalows. They are fully equipped: kitchen, cooking utensils, sofa, TV, dining table, and two separate bedrooms (sleeps 4 people, the sofa can also be used as a sleeping area), perfect for family trips. The receptionist speaks Chinese and is very patient. When we rented the boat, the receptionist was about to close, so she just gave me the boat keys and told me to calculate the time myself. Of course, I honestly calculated it to be 2 hours. I highly recommend staying overnight in Giethoorn to experience the tranquil and peaceful fairytale town; it gets too crowded during the day. A boat trip is a must; drifting on the water, it's like walking through a painting – a truly wonderful experience.
WWilfriedI was beached at 23:00 from a Asian trip to Hengelo by train and was very friendly and welcomed. The hotel is 2 minutes' walk from the train station and is best accessible on with heavy roller bags. The service and friendliness were hardly to be excellent.
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay in this holiday house! The accommodation is lovely furnished, very clean and excellently equipped – It really doesn't miss anything. The quiet location invites to relax, while travel destinations are well reachable. Specially enthusiastic we are the hearty hospitality and the uncomplicated communication. You feel welcome immediately. We are very happy to come back and can recommend this holiday house in full!
Ttan lip cheowLovely hotel and just a stone throw away from train station. The room is good size and quiet for a night rest. Amazing service and toilet is world class. The restaurant serve good food and top services.
SSimonwycThe location is a bit remote, but it is not difficult to find, self-driving is still a good choice. Hotel room is good, free parking, restaurant downstairs, the price is not expensive.
