Hotels With parking in Nordland, Norway

Arrived in the evening and check in was fast. The balcony facing the water is nice, but there is a bad smell from the water sometimes. There is also noise from the water system in the toilet and you can hear people in the hallway, but wasn't a huge issue to me. I was satisfied with everything else and no complains for a short stay. Parking right outside the hotel costs maximum 300NOK a day.

Booked this last minute, felt like a lucky find, though at over 1700 [currency unit] it wasn't exactly cheap. The room is quite small, like an apartment, with self-catering facilities. It has a kettle, coffee machine, and all the necessary kitchenware. There's a small table right next to the bed. The bathroom is also tiny; the sink is really only big enough for washing hands. Its main selling point is the location. You can take the bus from Moskenes ferry terminal to Hamnoy and it's just a short walk from there. However, to get back to Moskenes terminal, you have to walk about 400 meters further to catch the bus, which was quite a struggle dragging luggage in the pouring rain. That famous little red house from the Lonely Planet guide? That's our hotel.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and the breakfast was incredibly rich. The location is especially good, right by the harbor, and only a five-minute walk to the city center. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, making it the perfect choice for accommodation in Lofoten.

The location is right next to the center of leknes. There is a supermarket and a gas station. The room is very clean. This should be more popular. The guestbook has languages in various countries. The kitchen is very easy to use. It is suitable for people who don’t like sandwich hot dogs to cook their own meals. Hahaha.

We stayed in a family room. The hotel staff was very helpful. My room ceiling lights were failure. The staff helped me to fix the ceiling lights immediately. He also gave me some extra clean towels for shower. The breakfast was good. The food was refilled quickly. My room had separated shower and toilet. The only comment was that the rooms were a bit small. It was difficult to open 2 suitcases freely.

I stayed at Svinøya Rorbuer recently, and honestly, it was such a beautiful experience. Our cabin had the perfect view for catching the northern lights — we literally just looked out of the window and there they were, dancing above us. Pure magic. The cabin itself was spotless and felt really cosy. One of the heaters wasn’t working at first, but the team came over and sorted it immediately, which I really appreciated. Fast, friendly service makes all the difference, especially in the cold! Overall, a lovely stay. I’d happily go back in a heartbeat.

This is definitely a 5-star praise. Although the hotel has been maintained for some years, it is still very well maintained. We have two rooms in total, one of which is given to the invincible sea view room. The room is quite big. The facilities in the room are all available. It is almost the best accommodation in this Norwegian trip. The praise is due to flight changes. Cancellation the next night, although the type of reservation is non-cancellable, the hotel promised to cancel free of charge, it is really good, breakfast is also rich.

We stayed right by the pier in a small fishing village. The supermarket nearby had amazing and cheap steaks and cod, which was perfect for us to cook ourselves since we had two suites for 7 people. One of the suites had a huge living room, which was great for our friends' gathering. Highly recommended!

We'd booked a room for 5 with an extra bed on ***********, but when we reached the hotel, the lady at check-in informed us that in the Scandic Narvik system it was only a room for 2 people, that there was no other space available, and that in future, we should book directly with the hotel in order to avoid this happening again. In the end, she was able to find us a room, but it was such a terrible way to start off what was otherwise a brilliant stay in beautiful Narvik.

First of all, this hotel is located in Auer, a popular spot for visitors to Lofoten! I would recommend staying in Auer or Reine. But to be honest, this hotel really surprised me. The rooms have kitchens, complete with stoves and tableware, and they were very clean, making it convenient to cook your own meals. Our room was a one-bedroom apartment, very cozy! And on a clear day, it's an absolutely amazing spot for aurora viewing!! The only downside is that there doesn't seem to be a hairdryer; you can ask about it at check-in. Overall, this was a highly recommended accommodation experience, especially for travelers who want to get close to nature and experience the charm of a fishing village. Highly recommended!!
