UUUUhiwThe front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the room had a great view. The downside is that our room was in an adjacent building, so we had to walk outdoors to get to the front desk, and the path was very slippery because the ice hadn't been cleared. Also, there's no elevator to the third floor.

GGuest UserI stayed in a 4-person dormitory, and while it was okay for me, the space for suitcases was limited. It could get quite challenging if all guests had large suitcases, so I'd recommend bringing a backpack instead, as you can also use the lockers provided. I was on the top bunk, which meant I had to use a power bank to charge my phone.
The shared kitchen area had a fantastic vibe, and I really enjoyed chatting and socializing with other guests there. For transportation in Svalbard, you can take a bus or taxi between the airport and the city center. Conveniently, a bus stop is right next to the hotel. Although it's a bit outside the main town, the prices are reasonable, and the breakfast is delicious, so I'd definitely recommend it.

The hotel is in a peaceful, quiet area about 30 minutes’ walk from the city center, right next to nature. Its location is perfect if you want to step outside at night and enjoy the darkness to see the aurora.

YYANBreakfast was rich! Choose a lot of these! This hotel is the only 4-star hotel in Svalbard! There are saunas and outdoor baths! It's warm inside the hotel! Also close to the local supermarket! Environmental facilities are really good, love his sauna! It's so comfortable!
