Pros: - Beautiful view - Daybed was as comfortable as the bed - One of the most conveniently located hotels in Tromso - Delicious, well-seasoned breakfast Cons: - Hotel amenities are lacking (toiletries, facial tissues, phone to contact conceirge) - Only one staff member after hours, no form of room service then - Staff aren’t attentive enough. Notably, towels that were removed were not consistently replaced with new ones (One night all were removed, none were replaced. Another night, all were removed and only one was replaced)

This is a 4-star hotel, but they didn’t even provide a complimentary water bottle for welcome, which was surprising. Even many 2-star hotels offer this basic service. I have stayed in both 5-star and 2-star hotels, and this felt disappointing. Small details like this really affect the overall guest experience.

An unpretentious but comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location in central Tromso (the third photo is the view from the hotel window). Highlights include the friendly staff (a shout out here to the ever helpful Petter), tasty and healthy breakfast, and comfortable sitting areas that mean you don't have to hang out in your room. Given the quality of the hotel it is surprising - and highly annoying - that they don't provide kettles in the room (I even offered to pay a deposit), the more frustrating because some photos on the site show coffee machines: so some rooms do have these facilities. The selection of toiletries is also surprisingly meagre - no shower gel for example, which seems unnecessarily cheapskate. My other gripe is that they need more individual tables in the breakfast room: finding a space at a long table feels reminiscent of youth hostelling... With these shortcomings noted, the hotel can be recommended and is good value for Tromso.

This is the only one hotel that is serving half board meaning breakfast and dinner is included, plus they throw in a tea break serving a piece of cake and tea/coffee during the afternoon from 3pm - 5pm. Since our arrival was after the dinner time, the hotel reception was so nice to kept us two cold plate - was delicious! As we arrived during the Easter weekend, many shops were closed. Hence it was good that we have dinner included at the hotel. Everywhere is within walking distance. Help yourself Coffee/tea are served all day long at the reception. In the late night, after we returned from aurora chasing around 2am, the doors are locked and manned by security, so it is quite safe. There is a sauna but I didnt have a chance to use it, staff are friendly and helpful.

We arrived in the evening, reception was not open but instructions to where our room and key are were sent in advance. Due to the weather (arrived during heavy snow) we struggled a bit to find our room, which was unpleasant, but once we found it our stay was very nice. The room had everything we needed, bathroom simple and clean, kitchen organized and simple with a stove, dishwasher, fridge and everything, and a very nice shared area. The location is very close to Finnsnes, but buses don't run very often, and not in the evening; so plan in advance if you count on using public transportation. On the up side, when the bus does run, there is a stop right outside. All in all, great value for money. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

I have upgraded to deluxe house from the hotel email due to adding two friends of mine are joining. I have paid so much extra to top up from the hotel. When I checked in, the receptionist said I have to pay extra NOK 200 because I did not inform them that I have 2 extra friends are joining. Firstly, I did call to the hotel to check how much I need to top up due to two friends are joining. Second, the deluxe house is meant to have 4 -5 people to stay in, we have 4 people in total. Third, I booked this hotel on my first night and last night in my Tromso trip. I’m looking forward to stay river view and garden view. But unfortunately the service that I received is extremely disappointed and bad!!

The front desk is located in the bar on the top floor, which offers a magnificent view. I was too tired at night to go up and see if I could spot the Northern Lights. This is more of a business hotel. You need a key card to use the elevators. Most of the staff I encountered were very nice, and the room size is decent for a Nordic hotel. It's true that it's not too far from the airport, but dragging luggage through the snow was impossible. A single bus stop from the airport costs nearly 100 RMB, which is truly shocking Nordic pricing.

Front desk service was friendly and upon seeing my membership status, gave us room upgrades. Though the room was clean and modern, the bathroom is in desperate need of an upgrade. The bathtub has what looks like years of yellow staining, showerhead from the 80s, hairdryer would struggle drying writing on paper. The fact there were no photos anywhere of the bathroom means they know exactly what I'm on about. Would not stay again purely because of it.

The hotel is in a great location, right by the sea. If the weather is clear, you might be able to see the Northern Lights from your room. The facilities are quite new, the bathroom is spacious, there's 24-hour coffee in the lobby, and the front desk staff are very friendly. It's a good hotel.

I almost didn't go after seeing the pictures, thinking it was just an ordinary guesthouse. But when I arrived, I found it's a large hotel, and truly excellent. **Facilities:** The facilities are very modern, and the heating in the room is exceptionally good, just like the standards of a Nordic city hotel. The design is also quite simple. **Environment:** The view from the hotel lobby and breakfast restaurant through the glass is absolutely stunning. Plus, there's free coffee and tea in the lobby, so you can sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. **Breakfast:** The breakfast is also quite good. This is the only hotel on the entire island; everything else seems to be guesthouses. It also has a large parking lot. The photos online made it look very average, but in reality, it's completely different and exceeded my expectations. However, the island itself isn't too big, and the scenery on the way back to Tromsø from here is particularly beautiful.
