The hotel is centrally located, just a 5-minute walk to the shopping street. There's a supermarket and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. It's also less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel to the cruise terminal. The rooms are well-equipped. The front desk is in a small room on the first floor and offers luggage storage until 8:50 PM if you need to pick it up the same day.
Absolutely stunning views, super convenient location, and the hotel facilities are top-notch. The staff are incredibly nice, and there are so many outdoor activities to choose from. The best part is being able to see the Northern Lights directly from the hotel!
The facilities is very good, it has common kitchen and area. Also it provides free tea and coffee and snacks. However the common kitchen closes at 10:00pm, it a bit inconvenient for that. The WiFi is also a bit weak, sometime phone cannot connect.
It's a 15-20 minute walk from the airport. The restaurant and bar on the 11th floor (where you check in, have breakfast, and get your welcome drink) offers breathtaking panoramic views of the fjord. The room itself was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with an industrial design. There's a parking lot downstairs, and it's convenient for shopping at nearby supermarkets. Quality Hotel Harstad is a very nice and modern hotel with a great location and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which really made us feel at home.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-designed – perfect for a short or long stay. However, a couple of small things could be improved: there was no fridge in the room, which would have been useful, and the Wi-Fi connection could have been a bit faster and more stable, especially for work or streaming.
Aside from that, everything was great – a pleasant stay overall, and I would definitely recommend it!
Facilities: All wooden structure, very warm, by the sea, no elevator, small room area, no hair dryer, hot water bottle in the room, simple. Breakfast is simple, bread, sausage, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, very simple.

Due to the weather (arrived during heavy snow) we struggled a bit to find our room, which was unpleasant, but once we found it our stay was very nice. The room had everything we needed, bathroom simple and clean, kitchen organized and simple with a stove, dishwasher, fridge and everything, and a very nice shared area. The location is very close to Finnsnes, but buses don't run very often, and not in the evening; so plan in advance if you count on using public transportation. On the up side, when the bus does run, there is a stop right outside.
All in all, great value for money. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

The room was tiny. Paying over 2,000 NOK a night for a single room in January, it felt ridiculously small. I've stayed at two different Radisson hotels in Oslo that were much better than this one in Tromsø. Plus, the mattress was incredibly soft, with absolutely no support. At this price, aren't you going to get better mattresses for your guests? The moment I lay down, the whole bed just caved in. The pillows were also useless. After a few nights, my back was killing me, my whole body ached, and my neck hurt. The hotel's location is decent, but it's really not worth the price.
On the last day, my Apple Pencil rolled under the bed. When I lifted the mattress to get it, I found used cotton swabs on the bed frame. Then, while packing, I discovered someone else's clothing tag, fruit pits, and a used napkin behind the mirror. So frustrating.
The only redeeming quality was the decent window view. This terrible mattress deserves the lowest rating I've ever given on Trip.com.
Suitable for two families, you can show your skills in the apartment kitchen to improve food; the supermarket is opposite the apartment; the black pizza on the side of the supermarket tastes good. The room can also overlook the Red Church on the mountain.

SSTowI have upgraded to deluxe house from the hotel email due to adding two friends of mine are joining. I have paid so much extra to top up from the hotel. When I checked in, the receptionist said I have to pay extra NOK 200 because I did not inform them that I have 2 extra friends are joining.
Firstly, I did call to the hotel to check how much I need to top up due to two friends are joining. Second, the deluxe house is meant to have 4 -5 people to stay in, we have 4 people in total. Third, I booked this hotel on my first night and last night in my Tromso trip. I’m looking forward to stay river view and garden view. But unfortunately the service that I received is extremely disappointed and bad!!
