We stayed at Henann Alona Resort as a family. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The foods are good lots of selections, and the location is perfect, with the surrounding pools is amazing my kids love it, they have kids and adult pool and what i love in the pool its not crowded worth the money, and our premier  room is big and the view is the pool. Good for family and friends outing.

Beautiful, clean room. The view from the window wasn't great, but for my trip, it didn't matter as I just needed a clean room. The room has everything you need for a comfortable overnight stay: shower, bed. The photos are accurate. There's a rooftop restaurant with a nice view that's open late, but they only serve bar food. The plus is that it's open.

We had a pleasant stay at Henann Premier Coast Resort and truly appreciated the hospitality throughout our visit. One thing that stood out was how welcoming and friendly the staff were — every staff member we encountered greeted us warmly and made us feel comfortable during our stay. We also arranged the hotel’s transfer service between the seaport and hotel. Although the price is charged per person and may feel slightly expensive, the service quality definitely made it worthwhile, especially after a tiring journey. Special thanks to Garry for the warm welcome and assistance. I didn’t manage to catch the names of the other staff members, but everyone at the lobby area was very accommodating and professional. The hotel itself is in a strategic location, directly in front of Alona Beach, making it very convenient for travelers. The facilities were great as well — we especially loved the beautiful pools, including the rooftop sky pool with a stunning sunset view. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices, and we particularly enjoyed the salad section. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and suitable for a relaxing stay. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend Henann for its hospitality, facilities, and convenient location.

Locals told me this is the most luxurious hotel in Cebu. The opulent lobby and the kind, attentive staff truly impressed me. The view from my room wasn't great as there was construction (probably another hotel) directly across, but the room was cleaned beautifully every day, making my stay very comfortable. I was also very happy to have a bathtub, as hotels with tubs are quite rare in Cebu. This meant the bathroom was quite spacious. Although you could see into the room from the outside, closing the curtains solved that completely. The amenities were excellent, including toothbrushes, razors, combs, and more! I was also pleased to find body lotion. I booked a plan with breakfast included, and I'm so glad I did! There was a wide variety of dishes, and the menu changed slightly every day, so I never got bored. While some dishes had a strong smell, the taste wasn't bad at all. There are pools on the 4th and 5th floors, and the views were absolutely stunning, so I highly recommend checking them out. The pool on the 4th floor is smaller, but the panoramic views are fantastic for taking photos. The gym was also available 24 hours. If I ever go to Cebu again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. It was so wonderful that I didn't want to go back to Japan...

Everything in this hotel works well except the food. I ordered room service and the quality of the food was not what I expected. The veggie kare-kare tasted like plain stir fry. The salted dried fish fried rice did not taste like there was dried fish at all. Buffet breakfast options were very limited. The tastes of the food that claims to be Cebuano are just sad. I hope they do something about their food quality because the people here are just wonderful. Concierge, reception, housekeeping, F&B... they are wonderful! The rooms are great too! I went there to relax after two weeks of back-to-back illness and I mostly stayed in the room to sleep and watch the French Open. Great bed and pillows! Shower pressure is perfect and the toiletries are complete and well stocked. There is access to a private beach and there is a sauna and pool on the second floor. I just really hope they make improvements with their food.

The hotel's location is pretty good, about 3 kilometers from Pier 1 in Cebu, and there's a large shopping mall nearby. It's convenient to take a taxi to the airport from here, and traffic jams are less likely. Magellan's Cross, the Basilica del Santo Niño, and Ayala Center are also about 3 kilometers away by taxi. The beds in the twin room are small, but the room itself is clean and tidy. The hotel breakfast is decent.

A great place for a quick stay in mactan cebu. Near dining spots and a few shops and has free access to a nearby beach resort and has great service and amenities. Would book again for future stays

I stayed in the River View Club Suite from December 27-29, 2025. The room was very spacious and comfortable! Upon checking in, I noticed the safe wasn't working, so I called the front desk using the in-room phone. After waiting 30 minutes with no one showing up, I called again and was told someone would be right there to fix it. I then took a bath, and when I drained the tub, the entire bathroom flooded, likely due to a pipe issue. I called the front desk again to report this and mentioned that the safe still hadn't been fixed. I told them I was heading to the Club and then dinner, and that maintenance could enter the room to fix things. After dinner, around 9 PM, I returned to my room. The bathtub issue was resolved, but the safe still hadn't been touched, so I called again. Finally, someone came to fix it. Overall, it's a very good five-star hotel, and being next to a shopping mall (擅长 can also mean 'good at', but in context 'shopping mall' or 'commercial area' seems more likely here for convenience) is very convenient. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were all excellent. However, there's a need to improve the seafood quality. My main concern is that the hotel staff need to improve their hospitality. Most of the staff didn't greet guests or smile, which isn't what I'd expect from a five-star hotel.

Exceeded expectations. Will book again Clean new great staff expect to pay no more than 300 pesos to airport using grab. It's advertised they have no hot water. Not true we had very hot hot water.
