The hotel room is clean and comfortable. Hotel staff is super nice and responsive to our requests. Everything is perfect besides the bathroom window being super big and not having a curtain so the sun kinda shines into the room in the morning.

I would like to call it the king of cost-effectiveness. The room is huge, the service is very good, there is a swimming pool, the breakfast is also very good, and the parking is free. The only disadvantage is that it is far from the old town, about 10 kilometers away, which is suitable for self-driving tourists. The four of us parked the car at the hotel and called Uber to the city center for only 10 euros
The Masa Hotel and Spa is in an excellent location and easily reached by the metro station about 10 minutes walk away.
The room was exceptionally clean and the room had a mini bar, safe and was supplied with bath robes and disposable slippers. Also a litre bottle of water was a welcome addition.
In regards to the breakfast. The first morning was perfect and the selection was very good. However the second morning I went earlier and it is best described as a chaotic mess. There was a large party of travellers who all descended the dining room at the same time and there was simply too many in at the same time. Maybe somone should have staggered the amount allowed in at once and allowed people to get their breakfast choice in a relaxed fashion rather than it resembling feeding time at the zoo!
I stayed over the weekend the clocks went back and was reliably informed by reception staff that in Portugal the clocks went back on the Sunday night going into Monday which was proven to be completely inaccurate and could have caused problems for ongoing travel if they had been believed!
It must be mentioned that the major disadvantage of this hotel is that it lies directly under the flight path of Lisbon Airport and from early morning there are plane after plane coming very frequently into land. Even with the windows closed it's still very noticeable.
It's obviously not the hotels fault where it's situated, but if you want a peaceful stay then this hotel really isn't going to give you that.
The spa and swimming pool I can not comment on as never used. Neither did I use the dining room for an evening meal.
Despite the negative comments it is a lovely hotel simply spoiled by being under the flight path of the main airport.

This hotel is extremely convenient and close to two metro stations. It is important for travelers that are looking to travel with public transportation. Also it is close to shopping streets, restaurants and a super market. It feels safe to stay here too.
It was comfortable, checking in was simple and I was able to check-in late as my plane arrived late. The room is nice and clean. Their taxi service is really good but a bit expensive. The only thing is that inside the kettle is burned or something weird happened there. Otherwise it was a good experience

Everything above was perfect, until I looked under the bed, I found several papers, leftover packaging (my ring had fallen under the bed and that's when I saw the surprise 😅), I had unfortunately seen it on the last day, I was only going to the hotel to sleep, but above everything was impeccable, clean bath towels, clean bed and sheets... in addition to the beautiful view of the castle 😍

Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location is excellent — very close to the метро station, with many bus routes nearby that make it easy to get to different attractions.
However, there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. Housekeeping was quite basic: the staff only made the bed and refilled the water. Coffee supplies and towels were not replaced, the floor was not vacuumed, and overall cleaning felt minimal.
Another issue is noise. Possibly because there is no carpet, sounds travel easily. You can clearly hear people walking or dragging suitcases upstairs, and when the neighboring room closes their door, the vibration can be felt inside the room.
Despite these issues, the hotel has strong points in terms of service, room size, and transportation convenience.

The front desk of this hotel is very small, similar to that of a three-star hotel. The attitude of the front desk staff was quite indifferent, and we didn't feel any warmth at all. It seemed as if our arrival had added to their workload. They assigned us a room for disabled guests on the first floor and told us the hotel was fully booked, but that we could possibly change rooms the next day depending on availability. Perhaps they felt guilty, knowing that the room they gave us wasn't great. The most uncomfortable part was that the bed was small, and the mattress was of poor quality, making it hard to sleep well. The cups didn't seem very clean either, and the worst part was that the two thin blankets directly caused us to catch a cold.
Additionally, the air conditioning in the room didn't work well.
The bathroom in the disabled room was not designed with a wet-dry separation, so the entire bathroom got wet when the shower was turned on. Moreover, there were no anti-slip measures at all! It was terrible, and we definitely won't be coming back! (Photos are he normal room on the next day).
Best hotel in Cascais.
Everything is on a high level from the staff's politeness to the hotel's design and its location and the views from the room. Very good breakfast. Highly recommend!
This is an old castle remodeled. It looks amazing from the outside, but the hotel entrance is very ordinary, and the entrance is almost impossible to find. The other decorations and rooms are ok. It is comfortable but not luxurious. It is easy to access nearby attractions convenient. The terrace of the room faces the sea and there are many yachts.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is not located in the city, but there is a subway station that takes ten minutes' walk to the old city. It is also very convenient because there is no taxi in the city to go to the airport. The breakfast in the hotel is very good, the variety is rich and the quality is good, and the service is particularly good. SANA is a local hotel chain in Portugal, and its quality and service are quite guaranteed. The hotel is located on the flight network where planes land and take off, but the soundproofing in the room is good, which is perfect if you want to watch and take pictures of planes.

GGuest UserThis is a very cost-effective hotel in Lisbon. It is the best and most convenient choice for family travel. It has a refrigerator, an induction cooker, pots and pans, and even red wine glasses. This is really surprising. The decoration of the hotel is very high-quality, and every waiter is enthusiastic. A handsome guy at the front desk even shared the snacks he bought with us, which was really heartwarming! I stay here with my family every year.
AailicezhangThe room is not too big, but it is very clean and tidy, and it is cleaned every day. The front desk is friendly. The breakfast is quite rich, and there is always one that suits you. The hotel is located near the center, and it is convenient to travel. There are subways and buses within 100 meters. Opposite is the garden, and the violet jacaranda trees are lined up on both sides of the path, making people feel fresh, romantic and relaxed.
ZZaherWe had a great stay at Moon & Sun Hotel in Lisbon. If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel that’s perfect for exploring the city, this is an excellent choice. The location is ideal—within walking distance of major attractions, great restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to discover Lisbon without needing a Taxi/Uber/Bolt.
The rooms are modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. While they are on the smaller side, they’re perfect for travelers who want a comfortable place to rest after a full day of sightseeing. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the city rather than lounging in your room, this hotel offers great value for money.
The service was outstanding. The front desk staff spoke fluent English and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat. They were also very accommodating—when I requested a different pillow for better comfort, they replaced it immediately, and when we asked for mint to be brought to our room, they did so at no extra charge. Small gestures like these really made us feel welcome.
Overall, Moon & Sun Hotel was exactly what we were looking for—clean, comfortable, and centrally located, with a high level of service. It’s a great option for couples or anyone who wants to explore Lisbon with ease while staying in a well-priced, stylish hotel. We would definitely stay here again!
GGuest UserVery nice hotel!! We spent our vacation there 4 nights. Clean and good amenities, good for photos. Nice service with everyday room cleaning.Staff are mostly friendly. We received a little presents because of my boyfriend’s birthday. A little improvement is the room view it is blocked by wire. Would be better if they have the airport shuttle service as mentioned. The spa was the best part of this hotel 😆 We have been there twice and its free of charge! This hotel is a great deal in my point.
DDAI ZHENGXIFacilities: There is a very interesting little elevator as soon as you enter the door. You must try it when you come.
Cleanliness: Very well maintained and very clean.
Environment: It's about a 10-minute walk from Liberty Avenue Level, a 20-minute walk to the elevator, and a 30-minute walk to the beach. You can basically walk around the city center. There are convenience stores and pharmacies 2 minutes away.
Service: The service was great. I accidentally soiled the sheets on the last day. I told the guy at the front desk how much compensation I needed to pay later. He said, don’t worry, it’s not a problem. Finally, he comforted me and said everything was OK. of. Finally, we went to a convenience store and bought something for them to express our gratitude. Very heart-warming, I will choose here again next time I go to Lisbon. Breakfast was also good. I recommend everyone to order their Royal Egg, Jue Jue Zi, one bite at a time, super delicious.
By the way, when you come, you must go out to the sea to watch the sunset, it’s absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is unbeatable!
The recommended time to choose is 4:30-6:30, so that you can see the complete sunset.
AAnonymous UserThe family room was very spacious, essentially a two-room suite. While the hotel felt a bit dated, it was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious, especially the pastries. The croissants, in particular, were perfectly crispy, soft, and flaky – truly outstanding! I'd even call them the best croissants of my life! It's a bit far from the city center, but the metro is very convenient, and Bolt rides in Portugal are quite affordable. The first picture shows the sunset from our hotel balcony, offering views of the North Atlantic.
