It's not an easy place to reach if, like us, you are a family of 6 with a baby and a lorry load of luggage. We arrived by high speed train at Nanjing (Fujian) and found a taxi to take us to the hotel (one way ¥260, negotiated from ¥300). The journey was around 2 hours on winding and slow roads (on the way back we took the high speed motorway which reduced the journey time to around an hour). The hotel is in a rural location off the main tourist areas. We arrived later than expected but we were able to get dinner. The food is exceptional. The chicken in particular is delicious. We booked a family room with a slide. Our children would of happily spent the entire stay in the room playing on the slide. I've stayed in many 5 star branded hotels and yet this guesthouse has so many little extras, gadgets and technology than most. The password keypad door handle is perhaps the most over complicated means of opening a door, but I applaud the dedication to style and design. The toilet has a Japanese style multifunction thing going on. It took me a long time to figure out how to flush it. The toilet seat lifts when you open the door! The TV is a large projection on the wall. Not being Chinese I struggled to figure how to get regular TV channels. Everything I found required pay to view. It was a nice and clear projection however, and if able to understand the programming it would be amazing. We enjoyed 2 days touring various Tulou's. There are many within a short drive, though behind the hotel there is a small village with Tulou and earth buildings that make for a lovely walk. Overall, a great guesthouse with trendy vibes and family friendly facilities. Very comfortable stay.

The transportation is very convenient. It is just opposite Kaiyuan Temple and can be seen from the room. The boss is very welcoming. There is a small garden on the roof, which is very beautiful to take photos on.

I stayed in the guestroom with view. (There is no view onto the tulous what I had expected)The room was light and clean. The location is great because the house is right beside the tulous and you have a great view onto the tulous from the terrace. The sightseeing viewing point is easy to reach from there. The service was good. The women who was there was friendly and helpful. She made me breakfast and dinner which was delicious. When I didn't know how to get to the next place she and her son helped me with information and the son drove me to the next sight I wanted to see which I was very glad about.

Service: The service is great! The young lady also invited me to taste tea, and the room was upgraded, and there were fruits for my stay~ My stay was very comfortable, I will definitely choose it next time~ Environment: Clean and tidy. The items in the room are also very complete. Dinner can be arranged in the hotel. The portions are large and the taste is pretty good. The breakfast is also very rich ~ The surrounding location is also very convenient, very close to the Wuyishan Dahongpao Impression performance venue, and the road to the scenic spot is also very convenient!

The housekeeper helped us upgrade the room. The room is very large, with a tatami area for making tea and having afternoon tea, and a balcony. The balcony looks out to the back garden of the homestay, a Chongxi Mandao where you can ride a bike, which is very suitable for taking your dog for a stroll! Facilities: All items in the room are free to use, including tea bags, handmade biscuits, Wuyishan spring water, cola sparkling water, welcome fruits, coffee. I drove all the time and didn't eat at noon. I was full after eating and drinking in the room. Hahaha. Hygiene: Even people with mysophobia think it is very clean. There is no dust on the tatami, and you can lie down freely. The same is true for bath towels and towels, and the bed quilts. Environment: There is an underground parking lot for self-driving parking. There are many places to eat nearby, and you can also order takeout. There is a place to walk the dog outside the homestay, and the scenery is also good. Service: The ladies are all very good. I just hope that if the dog cannot enter the restaurant in the future, I can inform you in advance, and there will be a solution, such as eating breakfast outdoors or delivering breakfast to the room. When we went downstairs for breakfast, we were told that ”pets are not allowed into the restaurant and we cannot sit outdoors.” It was very embarrassing at the time, but luckily there was a place around a fireplace outside the back of the restaurant, so we cooked and ate there.

The guesthouse is located in one of the Tulou of Tianluokeng cluster, so it's perfect for the travelers who wants to experience the Tulou life, especially at night when all the crowds leave and the village becomes quiet. The owners, who also have their restaurant in the same Tulou, are kind and friendly, and provided help to navigate the transportation of the area. Bonus point, they welcomed foreign guests! The rooms are very basic but overall clean, and the bed is quite comfortable! Even if it was cold temperature, the blanket was surprisingly warm and cozy! We initially thought we would be freezing at night, but instead we slept very well. Of course when lodging in such a traditional countryside dwelling, the facility is really old and could be a bit noisy especially at night if there are many other guests walking around on the upper floors, as there's not much sound proofing. The bathroom downstairs is shared with many rooms so it's not quite suitable for showering. Overall was a nice countryside stay, we will always keep Tianluokeng in our hearts.

Really excellent experience at Renjia Inn. Situated right by the river, which is the soundtrack to your stay. Room was clean, spacious with a great river view opposite Heguili Tulou. The owner is unbelievably helpful, sent him a text message and within minutes responding to me on wechat to organise collection from Nanjing. Also organised a driver to take me around the rest of the Tulou area and transport back to Nanjing station. I could not have asked a better service.

This hotel is beautiful. We stayed for 3 nights in order to visit the Tulou clusters. It’s located in a small scenic village and only 30 minutes drive to the Tulou, the hotel owners were great in arranging a private car for us to take us where we wanted to go. We came from Nanjing railway station and the car picked us up from there. The rooms themselves are beautiful, most of the ground floor ones seemed to have a terrace with a seating area next to the stream. We really enjoyed relaxing on the terrace and listening to the sound of the water. As a westerner, the beds are extremely comfy and not too firm. Each morning we enjoyed a traditional home cooked Chinese breakfast served to us on the hotel terrace. The owners were kind in helping us with laundry and even getting Covid tests done. I would 100% recommend this hotel for a short stay!

Tannan Bay/Jiangjun Mont
Because the hotel is right by the sea, we drove along a small road when we were almost there. It was a bit lonely at first, but when we got there, we found it was a surprise. There was a beach right outside the door 🏖️, which was very clean. There was also a bathing beach next to the beach. The children played until 10 o'clock in the middle of the night and didn't want to go back to the room. I have recommended it to friends. It is very suitable for those who don't like crowded beaches. There is a seafood stall and barbecue in the very large yard, and it is also very convenient to eat.

The owner and the proprietress are very NICE. The proprietress also called in advance to ask about the situation of the check-in staff and provide upgrade services. After arriving at the hotel, chatting with the proprietress and drinking tea feels like old friends. The two couples are very easy-going and kind. We took a taxi to the entrance of the hotel. As soon as the car stopped, a handsome guy greeted us to help us carry our luggage. It rained at night and thought that we couldn't go to see the fireflies, and the children would be disappointed. Fortunately, the sky is beautiful. At 8 o'clock in the evening, the rain stopped. The boss drove us to see the night view of four dishes and one soup and caught fireflies. What an unforgettable and beautiful memory!
