The hotel's location is incredible, right in the heart of the city, offering convenient transportation, whether it's to scenic spots or the shopping district, with taxis or buses easily accessible. There are also several local restaurants hidden nearby, so when you're tired of shopping, you can just walk downstairs to enjoy authentic local cuisine. It's a one-stop shop for dining, drinking, and entertainment, saving you the hassle of traveling far. The service was incredibly thoughtful. The front desk staff was warm and professional. They handled check-in quickly, offered hot tea, and provided maps with recommendations for nearby attractions. At night, I requested two extra towels, but I just called the housekeeper, who delivered them to my door in less than five minutes. Their gentle tone was incredibly warm, and every detail was filled with warmth. The room was even more amazing: spacious and bright, with a warm and stylish decor. The bedding was soft, and the mattress was just the right firmness. A day's fatigue melted away, and I slept soundly for two nights. Cleanliness was impeccable; the countertops and bathroom tiles were spotless. The bathroom even had a smart toilet and high-end toiletries, making it incredibly reassuring. The original member of staff that checked me in was extremely unprofessional. We were a family that came to visit with all permanent residents cards ( Green Cards ) and the way it was handled with very unprofessional. 1. The hotel should be aware that they don’t need to photocopy permanent residents cards as we are treated the same as local ID cards. The manager needs to train staff. I appreciate it’s rare to see but it wasn’t handle correctly. We have done amazing things for the country, China - and to be treated like this was disgraceful. One woman who helped us to our room, she was totally amazing! She was very professional- she understood professionalism and great customer service. We won’t ever forget such a wonderful woman. The hospitality industry is very important- every detail counts. However the negative impact can last a lifetime. I would like to thank the wonderful woman at this hotel and I truly hope you become manager of this place so you can show some staff members how to treat customers.

The room is antique, just next to the Moroshi Temple. The small hot pot next to the skewers is particularly convenient, and it is really charming to take a quiet return to the village. Should you say or not, some suggestions, purely personal suggestions: 1. In such an antique yard, there should be a few lounge chairs. Imagine how comfortable it is to lie down in the yard and drink tea in summer; 2. The socket in the room is indeed a bit small, just two bedsides and bathrooms have a total of 3 5-hole plugs (and the side of the bedside is still occupied by the stereo), now it is mobile phones, cameras, charging treasures, drones...especially inconvenient; 3. The lenses in the projector are a bit dirty and the picture is a bit blurry.

The hotel is well located in city center and provides complimentary pick up/drop off service from train station. There is a direct bus which goes to mogao caves right in front the hotel- making self transport a breeze. Room is spacious and nicely designed with a large bath tub. Apart from the hotel hardware, what really stood out was the extra mile services offered by the staff. There are 2 staff who really shine. Firstly, Ms tong tong （彤彤）was very patient in explaining all the touristy sites around and how to get there. She helped us book performance tickets so we could enjoy some discounts. When we enquired about transfer to liu yuan, she not only checked for all the information online for us but also personally went to the bus station to find a driver who goes to liuyuan. We're so impressed with her extra mile service!! Really kudos to her great personality and service. Next staff to mention is Mr li (李师傅）who picked us up at the train station. He suggested some dining places to us and offered to drop us off at mogao caves when we bumped into him at the hotel lobby. Overall, highly recommend to stay at this hotel.

Can the mattress of Hilton Garden Inn be improved? The edge of the bed is always exposed, and the edge of the bed is a bit sharp. The child bumped into it once because of this reason. Wow, what a nice hotel! Absolutely loved our stay with a beautiful view looking over the Muslim area of the town. Great Muslim restaurants in the area (one of our top meals throughout our entire Gansu/Sichuan/Yunnan trip) and everyone is so very kind. Free taxi service to bus station was a nice touch.

The service was excellent. Upon check-in, they proactively helped with our luggage and even brought it all the way to our room. We received complimentary apricot tea, yogurt, and plenty of bottled water. The complimentary Liguang peaches were also incredibly fresh and refreshing. While the facilities had a few minor imperfections – the showerhead holder was a bit loose, the bathroom door lock was broken, and the smart toilet's bidet function wasn't working – overall, it was still excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.
