Pet friendly Hotels in Hainan, China

The hotel is situated in a very touristy area. Many Russian-speaking tourists. There is a mall by the hotel and a food court area across the street, the beach is within walking distance. The room was clean it came with basic amenities, I would take an extension lead to charge multiple devices. The elevators are very slow and if you want to relax by the pool and find a place to sit you need to go early as the seats get taken fast. The gym area has enough equipment to get the job done. Check-in and check-out were very fast, we had no problems. If you cannot speak Chinese they will translate. There were a few rude entitled tourists. Be courteous and respectful to the workers and people trying to help, and make an effort to use their language either via a translation app or learn a few words. You will see the instant appreciation and respect for trying. If you go to the front of the pineapple and walk left for about 5/10min you can find some Western restaurants called the Dolphin, Little India and an Italian place. If you want coffee early in the morning there is a Starbucks on that same road that opens at 7:00 am. Overall it was a good stay for a business trip with no issues.

I would like to start with disadvantages: 1. The pool was closed to renovation the whole time I stayed (9 days). As a compensation they gave me 100 RMB voucher for restaurant. So basically just one sandwich. 2. They forbid swimming in the sea. I choose this hotel exactly for the private beach. But why do I need beach if I cannot swim there. The baywatcher always yelled at me even if I went to the sea to the level of my hips. It was very disappointing. Now to the advantages: 1. The hotel gave me english-speaking manager Sanjita, very nice girl who helped me with any issues I had. I am very thankful to her. 2. The location is perfect for me, very far away from noisy and crowded places. The next bus stop is a beautiful park ”At the world's end”. Note that there are plenty of activities! So you can go back there regularly. 3. Cool breakfast with anything you can imagine. 4. The hotel provided me two gifts: one is a round trip to Duty Free Mall (NOTE: the prices are not duty free! There is a plenty of shops, but the prices are average or higher than in any other Mall). And the second one is a ”free photoshoot”, and yes, it is free if you choose only 5 photos. BUT! They retouch ALL of your photos. And suggest you to keep only 5 for free. Otherwise it's 80 RMB per photo. 5. The Meituan delivery is automated, you don't need to search for your delivery guy - they send you a code for the delivery locker and you pick up your delivery any time. 6. Very clean, very lovely room and inner territory. Very friendly stuff.

I didn't expect the real scene to be as shown in the picture. The B&B facilities are great. It has a sense of design and the white tone is also in line with the tone of the island. TLDR: Had really high expectations when I booked this 5 diamond hotel, however the stay experience fell short from the expectations. The Good: + Was offered room upgrade to sea view room during checked in. + Interior and exterior design of the hotel is really sets a relaxing tone to the entire stay. + It was a nice touch having Bellboys to help us with luggage and open doors whenever we arrive at the hotel lobby + Staffs and cleaners greeted us was also a nice touch + Breakfast options are extensive (including fresh juice bar and daily special juice concoction) + Free hotel activities to do daily + Gym is well maintained and a good number of machines The Bad - (Presales) Didn’t appreciate the fact that the booking page didn’t state the hotel deposit amount (which is slightly more than 1 time the hotel room price) and was only mentioned during check-in. Prior the trip, I tried to ask about whether there’s any hotel deposit via Trip.com message to hotel function and there’s no reply at all. (I mean a 3 diamond star hotel I stayed previous replied… but a 5 diamond star hotel didn’t). - (Not controllable) Sadly, there’s construction going on and can see cranes and construction machinery hindering the view of the sea, as well as the noises. - There’s supposedly a butler assigned to each guest, but my butler only added me on WeChat several hours after checkin. Also, was asking the butler about one of the afternoon hotel was still going on as we reached the venue and there’s no one around. He said he will check and then no reply for 20mins before I messaged him to inform that we won’t be waiting anymore. Didn’t appreciate that there’s no follow up. - The shower control knob will suddenly fall off at certain angle which can be rather dangerous given that it has quite a weight to it. - The bathtub’s shower head keeps leaking when we turned the other tap on to fill the bathtub, and we had to put the shower head into the bathtub to prevent flooding. All in all, it fell short on expectations in terms of the service compared to the service my partner and I had experienced in a 3 diamond star hotel at a fraction of this hotel’s price. Nonetheless, it is really a gorgeous place to stay in. Tastefully decorated and smell really great. Most of the staffs are friendly.

This is a great hotel if you need to be close to the airport. Staff are friendly and helpful. You can even hire a scooter from them for the day. Sound insulation: The noise from the planes flying over head doesn't bother one. However, sound does carry if people talk loudly from other rooms and the reception area. The room is clean and has beautiful decor. Just something to note: The bathroom is an all in one (shower and toilet).

The front desk service was great as there are buggy service to the main road, night market nearby with many bars/dining places, recommendations on things to do in sanya and free coffee and beer from the cafe downstairs. It was nice that we were able to order food delivery from meituan and food to be served in room from the cafe nearby as well. 前台的服务特别好，可以约车到马路边，附近有很多吃喝玩乐，前台的小姐姐还会推荐三亚的活动，楼下的咖啡厅也可以取免费的咖啡和啤酒。最棒的是能美团到房间。

Location: hotel is located far from Sanya, in the middle of the Forest which is good for hiking to Qixian Mountain and also that gives you a totally different experience than the rest of places near Sanya. On the other hand it is quite far and it takes some time to get here by DiDi from Yalong bay. Hiking: The hotel staff helped us arrange the transportation to the Qixian Mountain entrance (40rmb both ways/per person). The driver was extremely friendly. Then we begin our hike which is quite challenging. It takes around 4 hours for the whole trip. On the top you can climb by using chains which is cool. Hot springs: Hotel has a few hot springs which are pleasant to enjoy but quite small and also in the evening the guard took the water away from the hot spring at 7pm😅 Swimming pool: swimming pool with the palm tree is absolutely amazing and great for taking pictures. Restaurant: near lobby there is one restaurant that serves Chinese cuisine but I wouldn’t recommend it. We waited for so long for a few dishes and the staff felt so uncomfortable dealing with foreigners. The other restaurant 7/5 is much better. We had a nice lunch there. In general we enjoyed our stay here but we were a little disappointed with the hotel’s amenities which were old. Everything looks much better in the photos than in real life. I’m not sure if I would recommend this place.

This is an amazingly cool flat and an awesome (probably billion dollar) luxury building complex, the room we booked was on the d block which is the furthest away so that means from the view from the flat there's nothing else in front. The cheaper room is maybe on the 5th or the 6th floor, which is quite cool, but for a small upgrade fee we were able to get to the 21st floor which was dramatically high and impressive choosing the sunrise side with the view back onto Sanya town or the sunset side with a review away onto the sea. bed was very comfortable bathroom shower and everything is great. little Phoenix Island is a pretty cool way to get the seats on an air experience away from the busy traffic yet quite close from the rest of Sanya town with an excellent little shuttle system that takes to and from the island in a breeze so you don't have to walk it which is maybe just a 10-15 minute walk. then once back off the island there are plenty of restaurants and shopping to be done some of which are open 24 hours and very tasty. downstairs is also a drink vending machine and an ice cream vending machine using app pay. we didn't try all the main activities such as jet skis and helicopters we heard whizzing around the island and which we are sure should be a lot of fun. overall this was an absolutely fantastic choice and excellent value for money thanks so much to the friendly staff!!

It's right next to the Poly Rosewood Hotel. There's also the Haichang City that never sleeps nearby. However, one drawback is that you have to pay an extra 50 yuan for swimming. But these are minor issues. The room faces the sea and is beautiful.

Pro: entire vila with 4 rooms. A lot of spaces for the price. Room services and delivery is very good, 5 stars there. The space is clean. Security is good as well. Con: the slap doors are in not good condition and hard to close/ open but it’s not a big deal since there is no need to open anyway. The swimming pool is useless. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially for family.

The price/performance ratio is good. The 10-person room on the second floor has good lighting and a small balcony. The air conditioner is turned on at 20:30 in the evening, and the sleep is comfortable. The air conditioner is turned off in the morning, and it is stuffy when the window is opened. It would be cooler if there is a small fan for ventilation. The facilities need maintenance. It is better to thoroughly repair the sewer pipes on the roof of the second floor. There will still be sewer overflows when there is a lot of water.

I couldn't find the place downstairs, so I contacted the staff. They kindly arranged for an aunt to pick me up and send me to the room. The sea view room is really nice. You can see the sunrise🌅. In the evening, you can go out through the side door at the back to the beach. You can see parents and children taking their children to catch crabs and small conches🐚, and you can also see the sunset🌇

Service staff were helpful and shared information politely on request. One male staff also helped us to order food delivery and sent to our room, together with food that he helped to reheat. He was also thoughtful enough to provide cutlery for us. Housekeeping team was helpful and topped up the amenities daily as we did not require daily cleaning. I can see no-smoking signs around, yet the corridor outside was often filled with cigarette smoke from other guests. The beds were too firm and soundproofing was poor. I could hear music from the morning exercise from the park across the street and other guests who were talking along the corridor.

The room is very quiet, parking is easy, and the price/performance ratio is very high. The breakfast is also beautiful and delicious. The apartment also has its own supporting restaurant. The lunch and dinner are delicious. The main thing is that you can see the sea view from the balcony now, a first-line sea view room! The room was very clean and well done. It was a successful choice and I will stay here again next time I have the opportunity!

Close to Haikou Station, not far from the city, convenient to take a bus downstairs, good environment and sanitation

因為機票盲盒推送，才有了這趟海口之行。猶猶豫豫挑了好久，選中了這家青旅（其實我是不敢一個人住酒店）。入住之後覺得這更像一個“家”，室友們都很可愛，一羣神仙搭子，很像邀請了幾個好朋友在家裡的感覺。老闆姐姐人超好，拍照技術和開車技術都槓槓的！副老闆身材超辣！拍照技術也絕佳，情緒價值給滿，教我們要自信大方，不要有身材焦慮。跟她們一起，我覺得我年輕了好多歲！家裡東西很全，還有洗衣機可以洗衣服，因為時間原因，我衹能待兩三天，但是有限的時間獲得了無限的快樂！如果再有機會來海口，一定還會選擇住這裏。ps：這裏離景點都很近，去哪都很方便，樓下還有泳池，雖然我沒用上，會游泳的小夥伴一定不要錯過；不會游泳也沒關係，老闆姐姐給教（在線替她攬活）哈哈哈哈哈
