DDamarisThe photos online were misleading. Check-in was on the 3rd floor, not the 8th as stated. Luckily, I had an HK SIM to contact the property. Staff were friendly, but the room was extremely small with a strong chemical smell due to recent spraying without ventilation.
There was no shower gel or shampoo provided, and one of the restroom doors was missing.
The location is great, but overall, it's not a pleasant experience.
MM492872****Finding a room with such great value for money in Hong Kong is truly a good find! The room isn't too small either, and it's close to all the places I wanted to visit. The MTR station is right downstairs, which is super convenient. The staff are very welcoming, and the owner is especially nice. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hong Kong.
GGuest UserA huge thank you to Jacky and Mike for adding so much warmth to our trip to Hong Kong.
Jacky at the front desk was incredibly cheerful. Besides handling our check-in, he really understood what tourists need. He specially helped us plan a walking route that covered all the nearby landmarks and shopping malls conveniently, and he even explained the unique features of the hotel's DJ night.
Mike, our housekeeper, was attentive yet discreet. He didn't disturb us frequently, but whenever we needed an extra duvet, toiletries replenished, or had any small issues, he'd arrange everything swiftly and efficiently. It made our stay incredibly worry-free.
This perfect balance of thoughtful service, combined with the hotel's excellent location, made for a truly comfortable and pleasant stay. We'll definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Hong Kong.
Mmiller_etienneI had a lovely one‑night stay at Stanley Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong and would definitely recommend it for a relaxed, dog‑friendly getaway. The location by the waterfront is peaceful and close to shops, restaurants, and beautiful walks, making it perfect for both people and pets.
The room was clean, comfortable and well‑laid out, with enough space for our dog to feel at ease. The staff were friendly and very accommodating about us bringing our dog, which made the whole stay feel more welcoming and stress‑free.
There was no breakfast at the hotel, but that was completely fine since there are plenty of cafés and eateries nearby where we enjoyed a nice morning meal. Overall, it was a great value, comfortable stay with the added bonus of being able to travel with our furry companion.
LLiaohezuoanIt is very convenient to travel in Chungking Mansions. It is a ten-minute walk from the Avenue of Stars and Harbor City. The boss is very nice. When I arrived, it was very inconvenient because my phone ran out of battery before the check-in time. The boss saw that I was embarrassed and asked me to go ahead in advance. Checked in, thank you very much boss
GGuest UserThe window faces the stadium, offering a great view. It's a spacious apartment, but transportation isn't very convenient. The surrounding area of Happy Valley is quite nice. It's one apartment per floor, and it's often difficult to find service staff early in the morning or late at night. There's a large refrigerator and washing machine. It's suitable for people who have given birth at the nearby Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital to stay for a month or two.
GGuest UserWe were extremely satisfied with the accommodation. This place is in a resort area with beautiful scenery. We came on a weekday, so it was off-peak and not crowded, perfect for a vacation! Our group was 6 adults and 2 children. Before coming, we were hesitant about booking a B&B, but after arriving, we were so glad we chose this one! Although it's far from the city, there are plenty of bus services and excellent transport links. We visited many places without taking a single taxi. Given Hong Kong's prices, staying in such a wonderful resort house was truly perfect! Everyone in my family was very happy. The facilities inside are new, clean, and tidy. There's a kitchen and a dining table. We bought ingredients in Tsing Yi, and the B&B provided cutlery, cups, and pots and pans. Although the room wasn't huge, there were plenty of cabinets, and it was spacious enough for us, which was acceptable. The owner even thoughtfully provided bottled water. We could easily prepare a simple meal, and it was truly wonderful to sit around the dining table and chat while traveling. What a fantastic accommodation experience, excellent value for money! The lady in the shop downstairs was also great; she even gave candy to the kids 🍬. The children had a lot of fun here too. We spent our days exploring the city and our evenings happily dining and looking after the kids at the resort house. The washing machine has a built-in dryer, which solved all our laundry problems during the trip. The air conditioning and refrigerator were also very powerful! A perfectly wonderful experience! We made sure to clean up before we left, a fitting end to this perfect trip ✈️
