I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The location is in between the east gate of Senlin Park and the main center of the city so it's convenient to get to both. In adddition the host is extremely friendly and helpful, even if you don't speak any Mandarin. She helped me arrange tickets to the park as well as to a nearby performance. The rooms are nice and everything is kept clean. There's also free breakfast in the morning which is very convenient. This place is a great deal for the cost.

This hotel is very good. The location is superb. The roo itself is also super good. It's a bit pricey but it's worth every penny you'll have to spend. The staff speaks limited English but everything is very good.

It was a very satisfying accommodation experience. The decoration of the entire B&B was also very tasteful and the stay was very comfortable. Facilities: Complete, including hair dryer, TV, and dryer. Hygiene: Neat and clean, no odor. Environment: The sound insulation is very good, you can see the mountain view from the opposite side, and it is also very safe opposite the Armed Forces Department Service: The boss is very enthusiastic. He also recommended delicious restaurants for us and gave us advice on our trip. He was very professional.

Don't worry if you can't speak Chinese, the hosts are very good in using phone translator for all sorts of communication. Clean and spacious room, 10mins walk to east door of national park. The restaurant next door also very nice!

The owners of the hotel are very welcoming and very friendly. The room is the same as on the pictures posted. The neighbourhood is very quiet and I got a good night rest. Everything is very pretty and very clean, I love this style, kinda old and traditional. The hotel is very close to the street full of restaurants and there are many small shops around. The owners of the hotel have recommended a local dish, and I was very pleased with it, I also recommend it. I will post the name in the photos. I had great time here, and I hope to come back with my husband very soon. I highly recommend this place.

Great location, in front of the cableway station to Tianmen Mountain. The rooms were nice and clean. The hotel is not the only business in the building. So you'll find restaurants and travel agencies in the ”lobby”. But finding the front desk of the hotel was easy and the check in process went smoothly. The only confusing thing was that the English name of the hotel in the trip app didn't match the name on the front desk.

The accommodation is in a very good location, compared to other hotels. I think this place is cheap and next to the waterfall. At night, I can sit on the balcony of the room and take pictures with the waterfall all the time. I really like it. Outside the school is a very beautiful Chinese style house. When we arrived at the high-speed train station, the school had a shuttle to pick us up at the station. I was very impressed.

Nice location in the ancient street. Our room overlooked the river, and had a tea table in the balcony. Very serene and peaceful in the morning and evening. Tourist groups arrive after 2-3pm until sunset. That's when we can hear a lot of noise. Breakfast of the 'rice tofu' was very special. At other times of the day, the in-house restaurant also sells snacks and meals. Pickup and dropoff to the high speed rail station was very easy. Just confirm a few days in advance via Wechat or Trip.com chat function. They have very cute 'A Dai' branded vans, can easily recognized from the train station.

It was our first time in zhangjiajie and we didn’t really know how to get to the tourist places, however, the owner explained, guide and even helped us to buy the tickets. thanks to them we had really smooth and fun experience in zhangjiajie. This hotel is super clean, it’s very near to the bus and train station and also the airport, the staffs’ hospitality is beyond friendly, very accommodating. The hotel price is quite affordable too. I really recommend this hotel to everyone and especially students who are traveling on a budget, you will never regret it. When i go back to zhangjiajie, i’ll definitely stay at this hotel again!

The boss gave me maps of Tianmen Mountain and Zhangjiajie Forest Park as soon as I arrived. The room was disinfected and you could smell the disinfectant water that had not evaporated yet. The environment was clean, but there was dust in the gaps and corners. There were paper toilets and paper on the table. I gave you a bottle of Nongfu Spring. The boss is also very enthusiastic. You should be very enthusiastic to chat with them. The cleaning lady is also willing to wait for you to check out later. This place is very good. There are Zhangjiajie Station and Bus Station a few hundred meters away, 1 km away. On the left and right is the Tianmen Mountain Cableway. It’s very cost-effective for less than 100 yuan. The only drawback is that I can’t adjust the TV schedule. Also, the room’s wifi is disconnected when connected to my mobile phone. It’s fine if it’s not connected to the room’s wifi.

Room is spacious and enjoyable. Although there isn't a separating door for washroom. Bathtub is good. Room service in cleaning is very sloppy. Careless really. First time experience in a hotel room not providing complimentary drinking water. Although super markets nearby. Can book tickets for all shows/attractions via the reception personnel, who are very customer friendly. Overall enjoyable stay. Cheers Sid

The hosts go above and beyond to ensure you have a good stay. In addition to a wonderful room, they helped me plan my itinerary, and were kind enough to give me a ride to the park entrance and bus station. They were extremely hospitable, kind, and generous. If you’re looking for a place to stay in ZhuangJiaJie, then this is the spot to be.

The room we booked was a twin room with river view and balcony. It is at Nanhua Gate and can be reached by taxi, which is very convenient. The B&B has an elevator, which is very convenient for picking up luggage. My parents were very happy to see the beautiful Fenghuang River view. The balcony is very spacious, with a hammock, coffee table and a chair. The scenery is very nice. The boss has a very nice family. My dad’s legs and feet are not very convenient, so the boss helped to carry it. They are very kind and enthusiastic people. The ancient city of Fenghuang is very beautiful. When I was a child, I was fascinated by the weather broadcast on Hunan TV. Especially the night view of Fenghuang is well-deserved. We walked around twice during the day and at night. They were both beautiful. We also took photos of the Miao ethnic minority and ate shrimp cakes. And Cuicui Miao Cake, mom and dad are very happy~

Wow, I am a hotel geek. This hotel can really meet all my needs. I don’t sleep well, but the quality of my sleep was great. The bed was very comfortable and I slept until dawn. It’s not noisy, and there’s also a toothbrush. I’m also very picky about toothbrushes. The quality of her toothbrush is also very good. It doesn’t hurt at all when brushing. The details are great. There’s also conditioner... I remember that the parking space was there yesterday. Very full, the beautiful landlady came out to help us occupy a parking space in the parking lot despite the heavy rain. I was very touched. She also helped carry the suitcases and invited us to eat snacks. Hahaha, she is so carefree and has a cheerful and cheerful personality. Xiaoshan made me so happy right away. They even helped me find a store to do my makeup and take photos... When I opened the door to the room, I saw the scenery outside. Oh my God, it's so beautiful! Truly in a class of its own! The best place to stay in Fenghuanggucheng! Near the date of arrival the host, Mr Liao would urge you to add his hotel WeChat for check in information. Then he would give you full details on what transport to take to reach his place complete with a video recording of how to walk there from the tourism office. We really appreciate this thoughtfulness and thoroughness. It was such a sharp contrast to our other hosts during our 2-week sojourn in Hunan! When we asked them for directions to go to their homestays all they replied was ‘take a taxi’! On top of this Mr Liao and his capable smiling assistant Ms Chang went all out to ensure that we were comfortable. He plied us with Chinese tea, gave us tips on where to go, what to see and eat so that we could make the best use of our time at his lovely hotel. No wonder we decided to stay another night there (upon returning from Fanjingshan) after experiencing such great hospitality! The location of his homestay is superb, right in the ancient town itself but away from the noise. It was easy to reach and in a convenient location. It was also a short walk from the town where all the cheap and delicious food are. The bedrooms and bathrooms were in pristine condition. Clean sheets, comfortable beds and furnished with all the facilities that a tourist would require. Looking at the way he named his rooms with lines of poetry we sensed that Mr Liao is a well educated man and it shows in the way he interacts with his guests and how he runs his hotel. Kudos to you Mr Liao and Ms Chang. You both make excellent ambassadors for lovely Fenghuanggucheng!

It comes with 4 pillows, which is very considerate, and the toilet is electric. Breakfast is rich and water is provided for free. I have to say that the attitude and service of the hotel staff are very good. They patiently explained the map of the ancient city and helped with luggage during pick-up and drop-off. Booking ferry tickets and tickets is also cheaper than online. The only drawback is that the bed curtains in the hotel are not 100% light-blocking, so those who are sensitive to light will wake up early in the morning. The hotel is located downstream of the ancient city, very quiet, and very close to the center. The location is easy to find, and you won't get lost when you come back. Very cost-effective, will come again next time.

The hotel location is very good. Riverside but far from the noisy pub and bar in center of the town but can walk to central of loudness in 5-10min. All staff here are so nice. They provide a pick up and drop off service. And very easy to contact with via wechat. Rooms are new nice clean well decorated and can look over to see the river. Several beakfast shops are close to hotel like 1-2min. Highly recommend

Take a taxi to Fengqiao and walk 100 meters to the hotel, but there are stairs. The luggage is heavy and needs the help of the hotel housekeeper. Let me talk about the advantages first. It can be seen that a lot of money was spent on the renovation. The room decoration refers to the 5-star standard. The front desk is very ordinary. The hardware facilities are cost-effective. There is central air conditioning. The room is quite spacious. The shower water is quite big. There is a bathtub, washing machine, dryer, hair dryer, and projector. The disadvantage is that except for the central air conditioning and the normal shower function, other facilities have various quality problems. In short, they are unusable. Since it was only one night and I arrived at the hotel quite late, the hotel price was relatively cheap, so I didn't ask to change rooms.

This little hotel on the banks of the river couldn't have tried harder to please, from the first moment I arrived till I left, the staff worked tirelessly to ensure I was happy and looked after. The hotel is a 10 minute walk along the banks of the river to reach the centre of the ancient town, something I think I preferred as the noise in the evenings from karaoke bars in the centre goes on till late. I was upgrade to one of the loft rooms, the bed was lovely and comfy with good linen and the walkin shower was excellent. The TV was massive and there was a lovely view of the river from the seating area. The entrance was a bit tricky to identify and hence why I have included a better photo.
