Tianhai Sixi Hotel (Jiujiang Liansheng Happy City International Convention and Exhibition Center)

Jiujiang Liansheng Happy Town
I had mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel. Starting off with the positive things: 1) they were essential one of only 2 places in the City of Jiujiang that would accommodate foreigners during the pandemic. My green arrow code had an asterisks, since I was in Shenzhen within the past 14 days which had a few cases at the time. This made it hard for me to find a place to stay. 2) The location is ok, away from city center but close to an indoor hot bath spa facility. This was the highlight of my stay. 3) wifi was fairly solid, hot water for showering was available, they offered free cleaning service for my dirty clothes, free hot beverages at the lobby and a nice lounge with a ping pong table on the 5th floor. Now regarding the cons: 1) the landline telephone from my room wasn't working to help me place calls. I tried to reach out to reception to talk about issues, but I couldn't get them on the line. This meant I had to physically go down to the lobby level and communicate my concerns. No problems receiving calls though. 2) The elevator reeked of a strong revolting cigarette stench. Despite there clearly being a no smoking sign in the machine, cetain patrons outright disregarded the rules and did as they pleased. Hotel personnel don't even bother to confront such individuals, which is very upsetting to non-smokers like me. Rather than making an effort to create a healthier and cleaner environment for everyone, the administration prefers to turn a blind eye to such activities, since they fear backlash from such clients and potential loss of revenues from them. This is a major societal issue, but I believe that it will get solved gradually as time goes by and the younger generation gets better educated. I resorted to taking the rear stairwell as an alternative instead. 3) my room key stopped working abruptly on several occasions, hence I had to solicit the cleaning ladies to help open my room door. Furthermore, I eventually lost that room key, and when I went to tell the receptionist what happened, they gave me a new room key but told me I must pay 50¥ (a third of my nightly room rate) as a replacement fee at checkout. Needless to say, I thought it was inappropriate for them to ask for that much money. Most major hotel chains would happily give a new room key for free. 4) the majority of food options in their breakfast buffet were saturated with either added sugar or oil. 5) ************ cards were regularly thrown underneath my room door. It's supposed to be illegal to solicit such services, but its rampant and openly done with no efficient crackdown. This is another thing the hotel administration could do to improve its protocols. *Most of the days I spent in Jiujiang were plagued with torrential rain. Obviously this is beyond human control, so I'm not blaming anybody for this. It made my stay in the city unfortunately less pleasant, as I didn't even once get to see a blue sky with a sun. Overall I would give this place a 7/10 Recommended, but if you are a foreigner then be aware of the aforementioned details. Nobody spoke English, which was to be expected. Be prepared to speak the country's official language if you want to get around in Jiujiang! 😁

The B&B has a beautiful environment and the owner is warm and friendly. I stayed here for one night and felt the thoughtful service of the store. The B&B is very close to the commercial street and parking is convenient. The room facilities are relatively new and clean. When going to the scenic spot, the owner picked up and dropped off by car, 5-star service. A very good B&B, I look forward to the owner's expansion and strength, and I will have the opportunity to come to Wangxian Valley again in the future!

We travelled in a group of 6 people and had booked 4 rooms. All rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable, and had hot shower. The hosts were very welcoming, hospitable and will go out of their way to make our stay pleaant and comfortable. The husband helped carry our bags to the rooms (first and second floor). He drove us to and from the entrance of the valley. He even drove me to the post office as it was located in a back street and spoke to the staff there to make sure my item is sent to the correct address. While waiting downstairs, we were offered tea, coffee and snacks. On the first night she took us to a restaurant and helped us with our order. She even double checked the bill such that we are not over charged. She helped us with drying our clothes. She also helped me by calling the hotel of my next destination so that transfer could be arranged. Lastly she also arranged the transfer for us back to Shangrao station because cab drivers from the station seem to be careless, overtaking on corners and texting and talking non stop on their mobile whilst driving: I do not recommend using cabs from Shangrao station!!!! We were very grateful to have met oneone who helped made our stay very pleasant, comfortsble, and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place and i shall stay there again should I come visit Wangxian valley again.

I booked a tent to watch the sunrise and stayed on the mountain. The owner was very enthusiastic. Living here, you can watch the sunrise right away in the morning. The location is very good. You can also see the bright moon at night. In this season, you can also see the sun and the moon shining together during the day. The most touching thing is that there is hot water for washing in winter. It is best to call and contact the merchant in advance before booking. For reference.

Meiling Scenic Aera
We drove 8 hours to get here with our two dogs. We were the only guests staying that night. The landlady upgraded the room for free and cooked ginger, red dates and pear soup for us in the evening. The room is very new and clean, and the corridor is close to the mountainside vegetation. This is a hotel that has been completely renovated from an ancient village. It has food, accommodation and transportation. This hotel is at the highest point of the village. From the balcony of the room, you can see the courtyards and different rooftops of the houses below. The landlady asked us to put down our luggage and go to the top of Meiling to see the freezing rain. It was really worth the 8-hour drive. Unfortunately, most of the photos are on the camera and can only be taken after the trip. If you take your pets out, or if you like a quiet environment and hiking, I really recommend this place!

It was my first time to come to Wangxian Valley. After consulting many places, I decided to stay in this B&B. It was very clean, the place was easy to find, and the surrounding facilities were complete (there were a lot of delicious food). The owner of this B&B also barbecued, and Free music barbecue bar, you can also sing while eating barbecue. The barbecue tastes good, perfect for those who like spicy food. The boss is very considerate, the scenic spot includes pick-up and drop-off, and the room can also see the Lingshan Mountains (Shiren) in the distance Palace), the B&B is very cozy. There is a kitchen where you can cook your own meals. There is a large balcony upstairs. There is also a washing machine and laundry detergent downstairs. You can have a drink and dry your clothes. It feels like home. Finally, the boss is okay Help to contact a private car to the high-speed rail station. Taking a taxi is also very convenient. I will stay here again if I come to Wangxian Valley in the future.

It is anazing to stay the night at the top of the mountain and be able to calmly watch the sunset without crowds since all the day trippers have already gone down with the last cablecar. And the prospect domes are fun in that you can not just look out into the landscape from your bed, but also up into the sky. But unfortunately a few inconsistencies that could easily be fixed: - The toilets and showers are the staff toilets of the hotel next door and were extremely dirty and smelly at the time we stayed. - To actually see the view properly, the prospect dome Glas also would need to be clean. ( and you also need to be on the first row of tents - doubt you would see much from the second row, since the domes are very close together) - You are sleeping on a 2cm thin “mattress” on top of a wood plank in single use paper bedding which is not the most comfortable . But the Food gets cooked fresh and was perfectly tasty and the girls checking you in perfectly friendly.

Sixi Yancun (North Route)
From Jingdezhen to Wuyuan, the national highway leads to villages all the way. White walls, black tiles, tomatoes, yellow apricots, rice ears, buffaloes, stone bridges, mountains and green water form a beautiful picture of southern Anhui. Suddenly I felt that I should take a rest, so I sat at the long table of the current B&B, and accidentally opened a book of ”Country Gossip”. I guessed that it was written by the owner of the B&B about his relationship with this old house. The writing was good. It turns out that this B&B was renovated from a house with a history of more than 180 years during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It has a plaque of ”Seven Leaves Yanxiang” given by Emperor Daoguang. It has an antique feel in the east and west, and the site selection also follows the principle of ”pillowing mountains, surrounding water, and painting screens”. , the seven leaves represent seven generations. The seven generations who live here have all lived to be over 90 years old. They bloom and spread their leaves, and they reproduce peacefully. I think this house is blessed with some luck. Many students are painting and sketching next to the Tongji Bridge at the entrance of the village. The charm of the Hui-style architecture is all there when they write. Not far from the ancient house, there is an ancient maple tree by the river that lasts all year round. There are swarms of butterflies. The villagers are still washing clothes by the stream. ...Next to the wooden bench bridge is the field ridge exuding the fragrance of rice. The rice ears are ripe and golden with their heads hanging down. Do you have any fear of time and the calmness of time🌾 The wooden leaves are falling, and a meaty dog is waiting for me at the door of the house. The store prepared one meat and two vegetarian dishes that are not spicy at my request, and serves a pot of home-brewed osmanthus rice wine. Let’s cheers🍻

I came to Jiangxi for a few days, and the accommodation in the scenic area was a headache. Some places were just tickets within tickets, and all kinds of fancy tricks were used to trick you. I was really impressed by my Jiangxi cousin. On the last day, I went to Wangxiangu, a popular check-in spot, and saw that the experience reviews on ”Yu Yueshan Homestay” were very good, the price was also suitable, and it was also close to the tourist center of the scenic area. I saw that there was a round-trip shuttle service to the scenic area, so I placed an order with a try-it attitude. The lady who answered the phone had a very nice voice. After confirming the time of our arrival, we arrived at the bus parking lot in 5 minutes. The private car was very clean and the air conditioning was very cool. The people were very beautiful and enthusiastic to help us carry our luggage and recommend the hotel next door. It happened to rain and they also provided us with 🌂. I instantly felt the warmest service in Nanchang in the past few days; let alone the accommodation fee of 200 yuan, it was worth it to go back and forth from the scenic area to the homestay 4 times. I remember that it cost more than 200 yuan to go to the two scenic spots in Lushan. The room was very clean, and there were windows in the room and bathroom, and there was a projection screen for members to watch movies. It was a very humane accommodation experience. I felt like I was a relative of the owner. Thank you, Miss! I will recommend it to my friends if I have a chance, or you can contact me if you come to Ningxia. By the way, the night view of Wangxiangu is worth seeing. If you want to stay, choose Yuyue Mountain Homestay. I would like to say it again. And the most important thing is that you can see the mountain view behind her room. It is worthy of being called Yuyue Mountain Homestay!
