My partner and I only stayed one night because we were attending a wedding at Mas Marroch, so we can't give much of an opinion, except about the room: everything was fine. We appreciated the fact that there were free drinks and coffee in the lobby.
Beautiful Hotel. The room was super nice. You get a fresh hot Chocolate Chip Cookie upon arrival. The shower is really nice and everything was as expected. Room service is expensive but the food is good quality.
The breakfast is great. The soccer bar has a signed Messi jersey on display, which is a great atmosphere for soccer fans. However, the hallways are noisy at night, which may be difficult for Japanese people to handle. It's summer time. On the other hand, you can hear the sounds of the waves, birds, and guitars from your room, which is great.
The room is relatively large, the facilities are a bit old, the air conditioner cannot adjust the wind speed, and it is a bit noisy. The hotel has a good environment, the garden is large, and the swimming pool is quite satisfactory. Located in a hot spring town, it produces many brands of mineral water. The most famous is that the Vichy Catalony, Hotel belongs to the Water Factory Group.
The hotel has its own chapel and can organize activities.
Breakfast is not very good, there are few choices.
I stayed at Can Cocollona for three days during my trip to Girona, and I really enjoyed my stay there 🦋
The hostel is very close to the train and bus station, which was perfect for me because I arrived by bus. It was easy to find and very convenient. At the same time, the area is quiet and nice, so I could relax after a long day of walking around the city.
The price was affordable and totally worth it. The breakfasts were tasty and quite big — there were sandwiches, croissants, eggs, cereal, milk, tea and coffee. It was a great way to start the morning before going out to explore Girona.
I also liked that my room had a balcony - it was a small detail, but it made the stay even better. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was important for me. There is also a shared kitchen where you can cook your own food, which is very convenient if you don’t want to eat out all the time.
The best part for me was the friendly atmosphere. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the other guests were open and nice. I felt comfortable and welcome there!
So beautiful and peaceful place. First time in Tarragona. And we are so happy that we chose this hotel. Petfriendly. And our french bulldog got treats pack that was made by people with disabilities.
Everything was super clean, and the service was outstanding. You can feel the attention to detail in every corner. Would definitely come back!
We booked a triple room with a balcony at this hotel, which felt a bit like a mini-suite. The room was newly renovated and excellent in all aspects, though it lacked a kettle and coffee machine. However, just a short walk from the hotel, there are various coffee shops and bakeries. There's a supermarket nearby, and it's not far from the main attractions. The train station is also just a fifteen-minute walk away. The ladies at the front desk were all very friendly and welcoming. They even offered complimentary iced lemon water and donuts for guests. Overall, it's a good choice.

Great
CcaicaiExcept for the small windows, everything else about this hotel is impeccable, as it is a renovated old bank. The service is also very good. As we rushed here from another hotel in the early morning, the hotel needed to prepare the room, so the front desk invited us to wait in the lobby bar and treated me to a cocktail. The mango cocktail was delicious!
EEnrique Rodriguez FloresThe hotel was a grateful surprise for the 6 days we stayed in Tarragona. Excellent location, perfect cleaning, comfortable and spacious facilities. There is no doubt about the best choice for a stay in the beautiful and cosy Tarragona.
HHanxiaotaiOverall, my stay was quite good. The hotel is located right next to the Glorious Tower, and I had a view of it from my room every day. There's a bar and restaurant on the ground floor, and as soon as you step into the hotel, you can feel that designer vibe. I particularly loved their wall lamps – straight into my shopping cart!
Two tips to keep in mind:
1. The front desk will ask if you want daily room cleaning, which is complimentary.
2. They require a deposit of 50 euros per room per night. This is refundable upon check-out (mine was refunded instantly). This deposit can also be used to cover the 'city tax' – they won't charge the city tax separately at check-in, but rather deduct it from your deposit at check-out.
The room itself was spacious, with enough space to fully open two 27-inch suitcases. The bathroom had small tiles, giving it a very modern Spanish feel. I also fell in love with the glass cups in the room – they're a Belgian brand, and yep, added to my cart again! The bed was large and very comfortable.
If you want your towels changed daily, remember to toss them on the floor; if you hang them up, they won't be replaced.
The hotel's surroundings are lively and convenient, with shopping malls, supermarkets, and plenty of shopping options. You can easily reach 'Gaudi's Three Masterpieces' by taking a bus from nearby, which gets you there in about half an hour.
GGuest UserThe room was decent and quite spacious. However, it's a bit out of the way. I'd recommend arriving earlier rather than later, as public transport stops running at night, and taxis can be hard to find. Overall though, the hotel breakfast was good and the service was pleasant.
GGuest UserOur flight was canceled 2 days prior to arrival we asked to move the reservation and were told not possible - we ended up being able to use the room for 1 hour
Also important to note that Uber can’t drop off or pick up near the hotel so expect a 200 meter walk
But the location is excellent
I would not stay here if you have a car either
WWalshPatRoom serviced every day by really friendly staff.
Breakfast was great and again wonderful staff!!
Receptionist was so helpful with transportation to Barcelona after our stay.
Location was excellent. Would have no hesitation in recommending.
GGuest UserVery good hotel. They just completed a full refurb. The zone of the entrance looks very modern. Breakfast is excellent just I think they should offer more variety to stand out. For me was a really nice stay and we would come back.
SSHENGWENThe location is convenient, with supermarkets, restaurants, fruit and vegetable stores, self-service laundromats, etc. nearby. It is a relatively safe area.
The only drawback was that there was a problem with the door lock when I checked in. It did not lock automatically when I closed the door, but the counter staff thought that the tenant did not know how to use it. The next day, it still could not be locked successfully. After several communications, they were willing to assist in reporting the problem.
AAnkeHWas already 2.Mal at Hotel Costabella and were totally excited again. Very nice reception, clean room. Also the equipment in the room was very modern. We felt very well at the same time. Breakfast was very delicious. Abundant selection and it will be replicated at any time.
Sauna and fitness studio can be used free of charge, which we used every day. However, there was no rest area, which is a little damage. Unfortunately, the whirlpool was expensive, which we found to be damaged. Just in days where weather is not so great, this would be a super alternative.
But otherwise no criticisms are found and we will in any case book the hotel again when we travel to Girona. It is very recommended.
MMerchanThis is the second time we have been here. As always, we have served 10 people. Despite the Covid19 problem, the accommodation was super enjoyable, with perfect facilities, cleaning service for 10 people and the accommodation was great. There are no two without three, so we will have the opportunity to return as soon as possible.
