We arrived at late night after a long trip, and we have been welcomed from a really sweet guy who helped us to park our car ,and also offered us a beer .. the room was clean and spacious,the hotel is new and has a stylus and smart concept... we had to stay only 1 night but we extend 1 more nite in order to rest and relax before going back home.. the day after we met elder who seems to be the manager who gave us so many informations on what to see in genova and where to eat proper Italian food .. we felt like home,it wasn’t expected,such a great surprise at the end of our road trip through Europe.. definitely recommended .. we will stay again if we will ever come back to genova.. thanks guys

Our room was very comfortable and the 4th floor location was great! The room was listed as a garden view, but from our lovely terrace, we definitely had partial ocean view! We loved having a terrace complete with a table, 2 chairs, two lounge chairs and a remote control awning, to make shade if needed! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The front desk staff and the staff in the dining area were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices were varied and good. We didn’t use the rooftop pool, lounge chairs, or hot tub but it looked fun. We also didn’t swim or access the private beach; the price of 50 Euros for 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella seemed a bit expensive. We were unsure if we could have gone there just to sit and have a drink without paying a fee. We should have asked. The location is about a 20 minute walk from the train station and there are no sidewalks for a small section as you get close to the hotel, so you have to change to the water side of the street and then cross back over. The city buses from the train station seem to always be very, very full so using the bus with any luggage would have been almost impossible.

Excellent location, just at the train station. We booked through booking.com and got an excellent deal. We were 3 adults and there are plenty of rooms to accommodate families and a small group of friends. Please note that there is city tax to be paid on site. Also just wanted to say a huge huge thank you to the staff. Amazingly helpful. Helped us to check in after hours and then when staying again, helped to order pizza 😊. And you can store your luggage. Breakfast is included. You will get a voucher which can be redeemed in 2 places. It's for a cup of coffee and a fresh pastry. Typical light Italian breakfast. Delicious. Just a note, to make sure you go to the correct one, ask before. As there are 2. One has RED flower pots in front and the other has WHITE. The staff is very helpful, and can chat to via WhatsApp. Thanks again!!!

The hotel’s decor gave me quirky, artsy vibes the moment I walked in. Artwork. Plants. Little knickknacks. Even a fish tank. Our room had a small desk and clothes rack. And a refrigerator over the desk that took me a while to realize it was a refrigerator. Another chair would’ve also been nice, since sitting options were limited to one desk chair or bed. Ac was off and it was unfortunate since it was cloudy and humid the entire time we were there. Also, no window screens, which seems to be the norm in Italy. The hotel only serves breakfast, and they do it so well. Excellent selection of pastries, cold meats and cheeses, yogurt, even fresh baked bread. Its close proximity to the city center is a plus, as well as the fact that the first village in Cinque Terre (Riomaggiore) is only 7 minutes away by train.

Location in the center on a narrow street pedestrian! Nearby there is everything. Before the sea 10 minutes walk . The room is spacious, comfortable. There is a refrigerator, the air conditioner worked perfectly. Excellent staff on the wotsapp. In general, a great option to live right in the center of San Remo!

It is a very good hotel. The location is perfect, close to everything. It is quite well soundproofed and nicely decorated. Hotel perfectly clean, with enough towels and products. The staff is helpful, welcoming and does everything to make the stay pleasant. Spacious room! Be careful with the parking lot because there is not enough space … we could not park our car at the hotel and places are very difficult to find in this city.

Scoperto casualmente, ormai è diventato il ”nostro” hotel quando decidiamo di pernottare a Lavagna. Oltre ad essere a poca distanza dal porto (e quindi dal Diving che è raggiungibile a piedi anche con tutta l'attrezzatura), questo hotel ha un parcheggio a disposizione degli ospiti (cosa non da poco in queste zone!), stanze pulite, confortevoli, con aria condizionata e un bagno con una doccia spaziosa; offre inoltre l'ingresso ad un'ampia spiaggia raggiungibile con una passeggiata in pochi minuti. Ma questa cose sono scritte anche sul sito... Quello che non trovate scritto è quanto siano accoglienti i proprietari e tutto lo staff: gentilezza, cortesia, disponibilità e professionalità! La solare Carola è l'efficienza in persona e ha fatto di tutto per venire incontro alle nostre richieste. E' un piacere poi rimanere ad ascoltare la signora Vilma, sempre presente e sempre attenta alle esigenze dei clienti, quando, quasi come una moderna cantastorie, racconta aneddoti legati all'hotel o alle zone limitrofe. I stayed 3 nights (triple for double use) and I must say that the room was very spacious and the bathroom was large. I honestly didn't expect a change of towels and a minimum of cleaning every day. Area is perfect! You are in the center, 2 steps from the first beach and close to the station. Tips for improvement: There is no reception, but I would pay more attention to contacts via email. If I didn't call I would never have received an answer. Put at least a small fridge for the summer or some machines where you can buy water.

The room was very large for a family of 4 people, a few steps away from the station, top staff. Gentle and available, it seems to be at home.

We stayed a night...small but very comfortable,clean and absolutely quiet room...then Mrs. Johanna the owner absolutely very kind and friendly , gave us advice on what to visit in the short time we had...then Very strategic location ...to reach the 5 lands, just a few minutes walk from the railway station, just as close to the center... I recommend booking the car park... which is just in front of the stable...so I have nothing to do compliments and thanks for welcomed us in this short stay....we will surely return to you.. THE COUNCIL VIVously!!!

Before you book this elegant hotel, I urge you to do a search with the word “RUDE.” I wish I had. Both the hotel and the city of Genoa were a big mistake for me, an older woman traveling solo. A few of many examples: When I arrived at the hotel, I immediately saw the gleaming bar and asked if they also served food. The bartender literally barked at me that he couldn’t hear me with my mask on! The night before I left it was a 20-minute struggle to add the one meal I had charged to my account. The next morning as I was literally seated in a cab, the woman at the desk ran out to ask me if I paid for my dinner. To top it off, I took home a giant bruise on my elbow, courtesy of a guest who slammed his luggage handle into my arm to save himself three seconds exiting an elevator. Rudeness breeds rudeness. This hotel definitely seems more attuned to business guests and does not want to be bothered at all with tourists. Unfortunately, the city had the same vibe. With the exception of the Hop On/Hop Off bus and the super-helpful multi-lingual Francesca, tourists seemed to irritate them. I have traveled extensively in Italy and this hotel and city, IMO, totally lack the warm hospitality and joy that I love about Italy.

This hotel looks fantastic on the website, but don't let that mislead you.  We arrived after a cruise and a long train ride; we were very much looking forward to staying in a ”Luxury Duplex” with some extra space and comfort for my family. This was far from the truth. After entering our room, the temperature inside the room was 26C. I immediately went to turn on the AC, which didn't work.  I immediately went to the front desk and let them know that the AC was not working at all.  He came to the room and pretended to set the AC, but only turned on the fan.  After sitting there sweating with my entire family for a while, we decided to open the huge window facing the VERY busy and noisy street. I played with the AC control panel only to find that the AC had been disabled completely and only the 'Heat' and 'Fan' options were available.  They do this at the maintenance level to conserve electricity. COMPLETELY unacceptable as the temperature in the unit was now 25C (with the window open) and a sweltering 29C in the upper level of the unit. I went back to the desk again to have the AC turned on.  I was told that because it was 'Winter', the use of AC was not allowed.  The Front Desk Agent was useless, Rude and not helpful at all.  I don't care if it's Winter, there is no way my family is going to be able to sleep in a sauna. I went back to the front desk only to be given more excuses; I asked to speak to the Property Manager, who was 'unavailable'.  We went out for dinner, leaving the window wide open in hope that it would cool the unit down.  Not the case again, due to the design of the room, there is no way to properly ventilate it without using the perfectly good AC system that is disabled because it's 'Winter'.  We tried to sleep with the window open, which was Incredibly noisy due to the heavy traffic and late night activity in the area.  We all tried to sleep with earplugs, but it was simply way to hot and loud. Horrible experience that was completely avoidable.  skip this place altogether...

We have just left this hotel after a 14 day holiday which was wonderful.The view over the busy harbour from our 3rd floor balcony was fantastic and so interesting.The balcony was small as was the room but you got used to these.We did look at a larger room with a terrace on the 1st floor but the view was not as good and the extra charge was quite high so decided our high view was better. The bathroom was a decent size and a good shower.Toiletries provided on arrival but not replenished.Shower gel was replaced.Our air conditioning was not working too good however this was fixed when reported.More hangers supplied for the wardrobe.We put our cases on top of the wardrobe which was dusty. The breakfast from 7.30 to 10.30 was very good and lots to choose from and sufficient for our needs.The staff in the breakfast room were pleasant and helpful.There is also a larger breakfast room for eg families. The front desk staff were very helpful at all times eg suggesting where to visit.One lady in particular was fantastic offering where to visit if you have been to the main attraction eg Rapallo funicular.I am sorry but I have forgotten your name.Staff also helpful signing for our case which was lost for 24 hours. The hotel is in the centre so near the ferry,shops, restaurants,train station and beach etc so never far from anything. The owners are Paola and Stefano who are charming.They chatted to us frequently asking if we were enjoying ourselves etc and suggesting places of interest.We ordered a bottle of rose wine for my husband's birthday which arrived with a tray of nibbles and on settling the bill we were told this was a gift and no charge.Paola also gave us a lovely gift to take on our next holiday which was very thoughtful. This is a family business as the owners two daughters also work in the breakfast room and they were lovely. We had a wonderful holiday and would recommend this hotel.

Charming hotel with an excellent staff. We stayed for one night, came to the hotel and checked in our rooms. One of the rooms had a broken a/c. The front desk told us to carry on with our day and go out like we wanted to and they will fix it. We wanted to go to the beach and asked for beach towels, we had no 5 euros on us for the security deposit and offered to pay in American dollars and they said it’s okay no need to pay but please bring them back and have us the towels and when they saw that we had no beach bag they gave us the towels on a beach bag. We came back to a different room because they couldn’t fix the ac in the first room. They sent a staff member to help us move our luggage. The second room had a broken ac as well so we told them on our way out and when we came back at the end of the night they told us to go check and if we need a new room we can leave our luggage in the room and just go sleep in a new room that has a good ac! They were very accommodating and eager to please. The breakfast was good. Loved the staff and how kind they were. We will be back God willing.

This hotel is past its prime. It was probably super swanky when it was built, and has stunning views over Genoas port and railway station - but it has not kept up to modern standards. The rooms feel outdated and old. However: the price is low, and for travellers arriving by train the hotel could not be better placed. The rooms have high ceilings and excellent aircondition, as well as good water pressure in the bathrooms. We stayed two nights in the middle of the heat wave and could not have asked for better sleep. Our only complaint would be that the night receptionist did not seem to like his guests very much. We would absolutely recommend the hotel for travellers on a budget, travellers who would like to live close to Genoas narrow & non-gentrified alleyways, and trainspotters who will enjoy the views to all arriving trains!

The hotel is very close to the airport, not far from the metro and train station. It's convenient to eat nearby. There are several Chinese restaurants. The room was cleaned and the breakfast was plentiful. Especially the boss, President Zhao, is considerate and very familiar with the local people and gives you good suggestions for travel.

Interesting hotel located on third and fourth floors- so you need to go up in the vintage lift to find! Rooms crafted in a vintage architectural building on main shopping street. Continental breakfast a must. Service at hotel was great and friendly. Walking distance to Genoa Brignole station and other attractions. Good for a family.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Very nice breafast. Perfect lovation in the old city. Everything within walkingdistance. Nice and clean rooms. Nice and quiet. Aircon working perfectly. Fridge in the room, which was actually cold.

I suppose I stayed here for a particular period, because the hotel was undergoing restructuring work and there were also very few customers. The stay was part of a very convenient tourist package, including the aquarium visit, and the location, just outside the centre, allows you to walk to the city's various attractions. The hotel is very friendly and friendly to provide tourist indications. The lack of breakfast buffet (Cause Covid) was offset by the possibility of making breakfast in total privacy in the courtyard, even though the latter was really disturbed due to the above mentioned restructuring work. The possibility of ordering breakfast what you wanted, and the availability of the breakfast to meet any needs, which are very much appreciated by the fresh pest taste for salted breakfast. As regards the general furniture and the rooms (with a large and comfortable capacity), it would certainly need a modernisation, and the chromotherapy shower is only a classic shower. However, the reception and the price paid compensate these sins.

Sehr saubere, neu renovierte Zimmer. Superschöne Gartenanlage mit Terrasse und toller Aussicht. Frühstücksbuffet ausreichend. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkplätze im Hotelgelände, der Strand ist in 5min zu Fuß erreichbar, in die Stadt hinein ca 30 min. Weshalb wir mit dem Auto zum Abendessen fuhren. Sehr schönes kleines Hotel(20 Zimmer) das Nebengebäude wird gerade renoviert dann kommen noch mal 60 Zimmer dazu. Das einzige negative war das Klappbett für unsere Tochter das war sehr klein und unbequem selbst für ein Kind.

I was a guest of this structure that has a strategic position at the rear of the Ariston Theatre, the house was super clean and the maximum availability and also instructions to enter and exit. I only chose a little apartment but at the end I had little to work, but I was a little bit hard to work, but I'll be better off next time. I'm noticed that the lock was defect and I only managed to enter the box with the backkey, which was kept next to the entrance. Thank you for everything. I'll be happy to come back.

You will have toilet handdocks, soaps, air conditioner, hairdryer, toilet paper, office, sets, TV, wifi, double-glass windows (see the balcony place so place quite frequently but we have not heard The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city centre. It will send you via Snapchat a telephone number that will allow you to open the doors (doors of the building, security doors) and a code (code to open the doors of the accommodation and the room). Pros: very spacious one bed apartment...which for me travelling alone was huge. Fab bedroom with king size bed. Fresh clean bed linen. Massive modern bathroom with large walk in shower. Always ample hot water. Loads of fresh white towels, 4 bath, 4 hand & more. Ample loo roll. Main room was kitchen/ diner combined with a made up double sofa bed in it and doors leading to balcony. Hob & oven fine. An assortment of basic cookware. Nice sea view over the rooftops. Hairdryer in bathroom was good. 5 mins downhill walk to supermarket, pharmacy, bars & nearest shops. Steep uphill hike on return!. Cons: no full length mirror, no dressing table, no corkscrew or bottle opener. No kettle ( i used a saucepan for water boiling) or iron. No sharp knives for cutting bread or prepping veg. No ice cube tray. No teatowel or washing up stuff. No brush to sweep up with. Only 3 coathangers. Not a ball breaker but worth considering when packing!...take a corkscrew, icecube tray coathangers teatowel dishcloth & sharp kitchen knife. I found check in diffic ult being on my own with a heavy suitcase...up alot of stairs. You then need a taxi to the apartment from check in place...unless u are driving. Also it simply isn't possible to check in before 3pm. Dont let the shoddy dirty check in building deter you...apartment is much nicer once inside. About 1&1/2km from the marina & main seafront area with shops bars restaurants & cafes all the way. Ideal apt for a couple.

Buona soluzione per visitare Sanremo o per utilizzare l'hotel come tappa intermedia per viaggi in Provenza. Posizione centrale e tranquilla, prezzo onesto e conveniente. Atmosfera piuttosto impersonale in palazzo non modernissimo ma pulito e ordinato, ingresso gestito da remoto con codice pin, in comunicazione con proprietario pronto e disponibile. Camere troppo fredde d'inverno.

We went for the second time, my friend from San Remasco who lives in Milan and Cocker Diana. We had a great time, excellent welcome, young, friendly and attentive owners. Beautiful, well-made rooms, spotlessly clean. Coffee machine, water boiler, croissants, various herbal teas are available. Minibar and safe. When we return to Sanremo we will go there again
