The host was amazing, and the views were absolutely stunning! Loved it, highly recommend to everyone. I accidentally left my phone on the bus and couldn't communicate with the staff, but the hostess helped us out big time, which was super nice of her! 👍
I usually go camping, but I thought it would be a bad idea to judge something before I've tried it, so I tried glamping for the first time.
I was very satisfied with my stay in terms of location, cleanliness, food, and how the staff treated me. Two meals were included, but dinner in particular was so much that you would have had to be really hungry to finish it.
The toilets and inside the tents were also very clean, and even though it was a cold winter stay, the heating was on and it was very comfortable.
The staff were also friendly, and I brought my dog with me, so thank you for treating him so kindly.
I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity. Thank you.
Perfect location with a view of Mt. Fuji right outside our window. The ryokan style accommodation was simple but very comfortable. The management was very trusting of their guests. You could purchase anything that is on sale and leave the money in a money box. They also provided free transfers to and from kawaguchiko bus station from 9 am. But because our bus to Kofu was going to leave at 9 am they were kind enough to drop us at 8:30am. We were very grateful.
If I could suggest any improvement it would be to have a bathroom in all blocks. Right now it’s only in blockB and one has to walk a short distance from the other blocks to have a bath. They could also provide a change of towels after a few days. It’s all right if you’re doing a short stay but not if you’re staying for a week or more with no towel change. But all said we would return to this hotel if we went back to Kawaguchiko.
It's 20 minutes from Kawaguchiko Train Station. The cabins are very nice, and the place is very quiet, away from the noise. You can rent a bicycle and go for a ride to the village and see the beautiful view of Mount Fuji. They have a restaurant in the hotel. I went alone, but it's also perfect if you're accompanied. The man and woman are very kind and nice. They treat you wonderfully. I had to return a day before my departure, but they did me the favor of taking me to the train station—such a kind and beautiful gesture that showcased the human side and culture of Japan. It has a beautiful view of the lake, and there you can organize more tours around the village. Thank you for everything.
The owner and cats were so welcoming, and I really appreciate how attentive they were to everything. I'd love to stay again if I have the chance! Thank you very much!
The place is clean and spacious, the service attitude is good, and the food quality is first-class. However, the shuttle bus was 20ms late and the facilities were not complete enough.
Excellent location near Yamanaka lake. Fuji is not able yo be seen from this spot but it is good place to escape from the crowd. The cottages are clean and big enough with all the necessary items you need.
It was a good experience in Japan. For this kind of accommodation The first night, I slept in room 102, a good room with 4 beds and a dining table for 4 people. I liked it very much, so I asked to stay the 2nd night, but the 2nd night I got room number 105, a room with 2 futons + sofa. It was uncomfortable to sleep, the mattress was a moving spring. And the noise is very annoying.
Hotel owner Kobayashi and the other staff were incredibly hospitable.
Although the hotel facilities weren't the newest and the internet wasn't great,
it allowed you to slow down and enjoy the beautiful views of Mount Fuji and the staff's service.✨
The hotel's terrace offers views of Mount Fuji.
In winter, with temperatures dropping to -4 degrees Celsius, being able to take photos of the starry sky indoors under a blanket is a photographer's dream.
(Remember to bring a remote control!)
This is also a popular spot for backcountry camping. If you have no camping experience, a simple stay at the hotel is perfect.😆
Thank you, owner Kobayashi, for your dedicated management.
