Pet Friendly Hotels in Bagmati, Nepal

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Nepal. The quality exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, providing a perfect retreat after long days of exploring. The location is absolutely fantastic – right in the city center, which made it incredibly convenient to walk around and shop for local goods in town. What I particularly loved was the proximity to several Chinese restaurants nearby, all offering delicious food at very reasonable prices. The staff truly made our experience special. They were friendly. They were kind enough to store our luggage while we went on our EBC trek.

The location of the hotel is very good, within walking distance to the square, and the breakfast is very good. There is no air conditioning in the entire hotel, please note. When I made a reservation on Ctrip, I saw that the payment method was credit card. In the end, the front desk said that I could only pay in cash, so I contacted Ctrip. Throughout the process, Ctrip customer service said that the agent would contact the hotel. No one answered the phone at the hotel front desk, so I sat at the front desk the whole time. I asked for the hotel phone number and sent it to Ctrip. Ctrip said that the agent would Shang said no one answered, and the front desk clerk was scrolling through Tik Tok the entire time. I negotiated with the hotel and checked in the next day before paying. During this period, I contacted Ctrip but the agent was still unable to contact the hotel. Later, I communicated with the hotel man by myself and took me to another hotel on a motorcycle, swiped my card and paid the room fee. I reported to Ctrip, and Ctrip said that I would be refunded 150 yuan. The above situation is true. I'm just stating the facts. The hotel is good, recommended to stay.

The service was excellent, and the hotel is a 4-star hotel. Opening in 2024, the rooms, facilities, and lobby were all in good condition, with a new and comfortable interior. The breakfast was also hearty. Since we were in a hurry to catch a flight, the hotel thoughtfully provided us with portable lunch boxes for easy portability. The hotel is located a fair distance from popular tourist attractions. Before checking in, it's important to confirm that the road under construction in front of the hotel is complete. Nepal's infrastructure is quite unusual; when constructing the road, they rarely leave any entrances or exits for nearby hotels and businesses. Access is extremely difficult, with only a small, muddy path. Imagine the challenges you might encounter. Walking in the rain is extremely difficult. Local taxis are small cars, which I think are like slightly elongated two-door cars in China, making this road virtually impossible to navigate. Overall, the hotel is quite good on its own.

All was good except there is no lift/ elevator but still we enjoyed the hospitable and accommodating staff. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast spread. Location was also great within Thamel.

I stayed at Kusum Airport Hotel, Kathmandu 🇳🇵 for 3 nights (April 1st – April 4th), and overall it was a really good experience. The location is very convenient, especially for travelers since it’s close to the airport ✈️. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect to relax after a long day. What I enjoyed the most was the food — very tasty and satisfying, definitely something I looked forward to every day. A very special thanks to Sachin Thapa 👏 He was honestly one of the best parts of my stay. Always welcoming with a smile, very respectful, and gave excellent service every time. He made sure everything was smooth and comfortable, and his positive attitude really stood out. Staff like him make a place feel more than just a hotel. The only thing that needs improvement is the bathroom, which wasn’t up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel. Other than that, everything else was great — good service, nice atmosphere, and a comfortable stay overall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu, especially if you want a convenient location and good food 👍

Thanks to the tour groups overbooking the west wing I was put into a twin suite room and discovered room service at the Dalai La. Having had weeks of Dahl and rice and noodles, it was great to binge on pizza and burgers. Internet was a bit intermittent on the 5th floor but the room is quieter than those facing the courtyard in the west wing.

Except breakfast and extra bed, everything else is ok. The room is very big, but it's a bit old, and it's a bit scary to be alone

Oh my god! Treasure Hotel!!! I was a little worried because it was newly opened, but after looking at the photos and talking to the boss, I found it quite reliable. I had found another internet celebrity before, but the boss kept raising the price, which was terrible... This hotel has its own yard, which is very beautiful! It is in the embassy area, very safe, and entering this yard is like another world! ! ! There are also security guards at the door, wearing this uniform, I feel very safe. Everyone keeps smiling. The kitchen here is so delicious! ! ! Sichuan cuisine, Cantonese cuisine! ! ! I originally wanted to lose weight, but in the end! ! ! I eat like crazy every day! ! ! Who understands! You must order the oil-splashed noodles! It's made in advance! The noodles are also freshly rolled, and there is green bean paste! The buns are made in advance! ! ! Paradise on earth! ! ! The rooms are very new. For Nepal, it is really 5 stars, mainly clean and comfortable! Each room has a balcony. I fall asleep and wake up listening to the natural sounds every day. My long-term insomnia has been cured! ! ! I really feel lucky to find this place! ! ! By the way, I was really touched that the boss came to pick me up at the airport. I was really a little confused when I got off the plane. There were so many people competing for business. It was messy and dirty, but the boss was waiting for me very early. I felt really safe and relieved. And I can always find the boss if I have any questions. He is so nice. He also took me to buy a mobile phone card. Thank you boss! ! ! I am really not a babysitter! As a woman traveling alone, I am sincerely grateful to meet this place when I first came to Nepal!

🏔️ Hotel Nepalaya is a perfect experience! I fell in love with it as soon as I walked in - quiet, clean, and full of Nepalese style. The location is super convenient, and you can walk to the downtown of Thamel, but the hotel is like a paradise. 🛏️ The room is super comfortable - Traditional Newar style, beautiful wooden windows - The bed is super soft, the bathroom is spacious, and there is plenty of hot water (so rare in Kathmandu!) - Every day when I wake up, I can see the sun pouring in through the curtains 🍛 The food is so delicious! - The rooftop restaurant has a great view, and the masala milk tea and fresh fruits for breakfast are amazing - Dal Bhat (bean soup rice) is authentic and cheap 💖 The service is so warm that it makes me cry - The staff's smile is super healing and they are always ready to help - Free hot packs, help contact tour guides, and give small gifts before leaving ⚠️ The only drawback: I don’t want to leave after moving in! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (must be five stars!) Suitable for: travelers who want value for money + unique experience Next time I come to Kathmandu, I will definitely stay here again! 🌸

I stayed at Hyatt Centric Kathmandu and was pleasantly surprised — the room was actually better than in the photos! Spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with stunning views of the mountains, the city, and even the Monkey Temple. Definitely a highlight of the stay. The rooftop pool was decent, not too crowded and with a nice ambiance. I also ordered room service once — the food was just okay, and the breakfast was a bit underwhelming, especially for a Hyatt. The selection was quite limited for this brand's usual standard. One downside was my arrival experience. I came down from a taxi and noticed there were no bellboys or concierge staff outside to help with my luggage — maybe due to a staff shortage? Only once I approached the lobby did a staff member assist me and take my bags to the room. Thankfully, check-in itself was smooth and fast, and I appreciated being allowed to enter my room before the standard 2 PM check-in time. The welcome drink was also a nice touch. All in all, the room and view were excellent — probably the best part of this Hyatt. Just a bit more attention to guest arrival and food variety would make the experience even better.
