Title: A Home Away from Home at Dahun Villa I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dahun Villa, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa boasts a serene atmosphere and a unique architecture that utilizes indigenous materials, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the beautiful surroundings of Siargao. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, were the gracious owners and their attentive staff. The German owner was able to connect with my fiancé on a personal level, while the local owner shared our passion for sports, such as freediving. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home, and they even went above and beyond by introducing us to their friends who are business owners in Siargao. Dahun Villa's immaculate rooms and facilities were another highlight of our stay, providing the perfect space to unwind and recharge. Their adorable little ”Peter Parker” kiddo also brought a delightful energy to the place. Our experience at Dahun Villa not only inspired us to explore more of Siargao's beauty but also to consider setting up our own business to prolong our stay on this enchanting island. The connections we made with local business owners during our stay will be invaluable as we pursue this dream. If you're looking for a tranquil, welcoming retreat on Siargao, I highly recommend a stay at Dahun Villa.

For Siargao it’s a good spot. For Cocotel it could be better. It was the place I had the best sleep though😍! I asked for a room far from the road and far from construction. So that is a big plus for me.

Very good value for money! We stayed in a very tidy room with an ensuite bathroom that has a hot shower and very good water pressure. Wifi is strong, too, and there's a shared kitchen for all the guests to use. Another thing we loved is that they're eco-conscious, so they practice and promote recycling. The owner, Raymund, was also a gem, very warm, welcoming, and helpful. Would love to stay here again if we're ever back in Siargao! 💖

The Ferra Resort Siargao is a small complex of Villette, very seafront, really suggestive. Very nice and available staff, when not present (the reception is not open 24/24), they are still very fast to answer you via WhatsApp. Excellent location, being seafront, 200 metres from a RistoBar, reachable walking. Not near the city centre General Luna, you need to move with TulTuk (about 150 pesos). As the structure is rich in vegetation, it is absolutely necessary to take account of a lot of insects, whether they want or not... they forcefully enter the room, just open the door a second! But this is the beautiful nature... To have insect repellent so that you can be ready. The front beach does not offer much space, but it is not used by anyone, so for anyone who wants to be in a quiet place, it is the right place. There are many free dogs around the island: I had almost adopted one :) There is no interior restaurant, but every room is equipped with a drop of water, also present in the “dining area”, Where you can also use a American coffee shop and microwave. They also offer sea and land excursions directly at the reception. I really found myself very well, despite the first day of rain, I enjoyed my front-sea villa. I strongly advise you, for those who want to spend a few healthy days of relaxation at sea.

I stayed with my family. It is a boat transfer. You can communicate with local SIM here, but if you support it with WIFI, it will be almost unconnected. If you walk along the pier from the dock, you will find the front desk of the hotel. The pier is divided on the left when entering the island. If you walk on the left side, there is a cottage about 6 building, and the stairs are down from the cottage and you can enter the sea. I couldn't swim immediately because I went at low tide this time, but I was able to swim at high tide near the evening and everyone was swimming with a lot of fun. Meals are eaten in the dining building while coming from the dock to the hotel. There is a karaoke building next to the dining building where you can karaoke while drinking alcohol. There is nothing around and it is a little far from the hotel, so you can enjoy it without bothering you even if it is noisy. This time it was one night, but I would like to stay for two nights to spend a relaxing time.

The only downside is that it is not close to the surfing beach and needs to ride a motorcycle. The service was good and the room was great.
