Great location, a stone's throw from the historic centre. Very comfortable and well decorated room. Very nice pool, although in the afternoon it is in the shade. Good outdoor parking. Friendly staff. To improve: breakfast. The coffee is awful, unforgivable in Portugal and in an establishment of this level.

The hotel environment is very beautiful and worth a visit. It is the first choice for vacation and recommended by friends who travel by car. There is a lake and its own garden next to it. It is very nice to stay there after taking a hot spring bath.

The views from the hotel are incredible. It is located in a quiet area, with great views but is far from everything.
Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Sheets were dirty with hair.
Breakfast also. For a 4-star hotel there should have been more variety and fresh bread, because the bread didn't seem to be fresh. They should replace the food, since there were no longer any fruits and other things.
The price is excessive at the pool bar.
Otherwise, everything was impeccable. Very beautiful hotel

Service: The front desk is particularly enthusiastic and responsible! Great!
Because my car had a problem with google navigation, I took it to a small mountain road. At night, because of the tension and there were trees on one side, the glass on the right front was broken! The front desk helped contact the car rental company and described my situation in Portuguese! Since I had local insurance, the rental company arranged for a trailer to handle it and arranged for a taxi to take us to Porto airport to change!

Lovely hotel and very nice welcome. Old style but very special. Dinner was a little disappointing but breakfast was excellent. We recommend to stay here as it has a very special atmosphere and is worth the experience. Beautiful lands and gardens also to be seen and walked

GGuest UserAmazing location if you're looking to relax. You're surrounded by peace, quiet and amazing views of the Douro Valleys. The pool area is great in a warm and sunny day and we enjoyed walking around the property in between the vines and the apple trees (the girls found it incredible to taste fruit after picking it up themselves). Breakfast is decent (the coffee was particularly good) although I would encourage a broader offering (there were no lactose free choices, for instance). Overall, it was a very good experience and I would happily go back.
