I love this place so much that a part of me wants to gatekeep this hidden gem. Fanzhu梵住 is a beautifully curated boutique hotel that delivers outstanding hospitality. I initially booked a 5-day stay but loved it so much that I extended for an extra day, willingly sacrificing my next destination. I was initially worried the hotel might be a ”pretty façade.” Fortunately, Fanzhu met all my needs of functionality and comfort (Breakfast, Air Conditioning, an excellent shower, free self-service laundry, an ideal location). The property is far from perfection, but it overcompensates with simple, heartfelt sincerity. You can feel the tremendous thought and effort poured into this place to make guests feel comfortable. ✨ Highlights, Who Will Love This Place: ✅#English-Speaking Travellers: For foreigners unfamiliar with China, it is extremely helpful that the owner is fluent in English. ✅#Design & Aesthetics: Warm & modern. The property exudes zen-like comfort with charming decors. It has a gorgeous yard, with swimming pool, and ample outdoor seatings. ✅#Remote workers: I didn’t plan to work on this trip, but I could see myself working there remotely. If you come from the city where every building looks like a boxy Lego piece, you will deeply appreciate this place. ✅#Personalized Service: Kudos to the young lady boss! In a place like Wanfenglin where the location pins and 导航 can be vague to foreigners, sh took the time to understand my itinerary, how I planned my routes around Wanfenglin. She gave recommendations, and helped me check my “Destination” input on car hiring app. Airport and railway station pickups can also be arranged easily too. ✅#Immaculate Rooms: THE BED! Oh my, the bed! The linens, pillows, and towels are all premium quality. Even the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash feel luxurious. The bed is so comfortable that I would return just for a sleep-in holiday. Ok I know I’m mentioning the bed twice but it’s worth mentioning thrice. Extra points from me that the rooms are non-smoking. ✅#Location: Before arriving, I read a review describing this place as ”a piece of tranquillity close to the action”. Now I get it. It sits as an independent building on a peaceful road/hill(?), yet it is a short, easy walk to the Bagua fields and Zhong Nahui, where you can find idyllic cafes, little shops, and children playing in the fields. ✅#Breakfast: Delicious local-flavoured noodles!They also offer more conservative standards like toasts, eggs, and coffee. Oh, the hotel has an ice machine! Ooooohh so sexy in the hot weather (apparently ice cubes are rare in Wanfenglin). ✅#The Resident Pets: As a pet lover who willingly pays to visit cat cafes, having resident dog and cats sealed the deal for me. ✅#BONUS TIP: The Rooftop Night Sky. Unassuming and rugged at first glance, I was initially unimpressed. But I heard good reviews from others, so I gave it another go, and am thankful I did! Stay awhile, allow your eyes some time to adjust in the darkness, and you would see the sky completely transforms. On my last night, I saw a shooting star! I kid you not. It was an absolutely unbelievable, unforgettable moment. Incredibly awesome! ⚠️ Considerations Before You Book (Who should avoid): - If you love standard chain hotels. Fanzhu is intimate enough to offer personalized service. But I can imagine some of my more pampered friends who prefer international breakfast buffet spread would struggle to settle for this simplicity. Some things are just not realistic expectations off a boutique. - Mobility needs: There is no elevator. They would graciously carry your suitcases. However, elderly may want to enquire about ground-floor room. - In the midst of nature: If you have zero tolerance for insects, you may want to skip staying in Wanfenglin. It is a humid, lush environment surrounded by fields and trees. Personally, with a body spray of insect repellent, I wasn't bothered at all. - Pet allergies: If you hate pets (but why would you? :( w

This hotel is really great and new. Its main advantage is its proximity to Qingyun Market, which is within walking distance. We booked the Kempinski for our outbound trip and this hotel for our return. I really love the decor style here. Overall, my recent stay was just average. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of dishes, and the taste was decent. However, during breakfast, I was seated by the window, and right next to my table, on a cabinet, were cleaning supplies, including disinfectants, along with discarded food scraps, used tissues, and other rubbish. Having trash right next to where I was eating created a very unappealing sight and made for an uncomfortable dining experience. Cleaning supplies and garbage should not be exposed in guest dining areas. I hope the hotel can improve its venue management by storing cleaning tools and waste in the back and not immediately next to guest tables, to enhance the overall dining experience.

The best accommodation recommendation in Zhijin County, Zhijin Hotel, lives up to its reputation. Driving in feels like entering a garden-style park, and the lobby is even more magnificent. The service here is excellent, and the room facilities don't look old at all. A large balcony is a highlight. The breakfast service is also very good, and in the afternoon, there's an artist performing the erhu in the lobby, which truly suits Zhijin Hotel. The outdoor pool at Zhijin Hotel is large, and the children had a lot of fun. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay at Zhijin Hotel.

The scenery here is absolutely breathtaking – no complaints there! However, because the bungalows are located on the mountain, we did encounter a few small bugs. When it rained at night, the raindrops hitting the roof above our heads were a bit noisy. The shallow end of the pool isn't really for swimming, as it only comes up to an adult's knees, so it's more suitable for kids. The deep end, on the other hand, is too deep to touch the bottom, which makes it feel unsafe for non-swimmers – a real dilemma! The evening campfire and iced tea experience was truly wonderful. The roasted sweet potatoes, roasted tofu, and roasted chestnuts were all delicious. There was also a live singer until 9 PM, which was very pleasant. The food at the restaurant was also very good, especially the homemade cucumber water and carrot juice, which tasted incredibly pure. This guesthouse is also fantastic for photos – every shot turns out beautifully! Plus, it's right next to Baling Bridge, and Dripingtan Waterfall is just below.

I stayed at the State Guesthouse for two nights. The lobby was grand, and the room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. However, I absolutely, absolutely do not recommend swimming in the pool! The water in the pool was murky, and there were so many children soaking in it that they completely packed the lanes. There was no coach or lifeguard to supervise, so it was impossible to swim. Perhaps this pool is purely for kids to play in, which is a shame. Also, at night, you can hear the highway and train sounds, so if you're a light sleeper or have trouble falling asleep, remember to bring earplugs.

The double bed is large and you can clip Xiaobao in the middle. The tent is large enough for an adult to sleep, and the boss can sleep in the tent. The hotel's supporting hot spring pool environment is natural, various flower pools and medicine pools, the cave area has not had time to soak, the front has been very comfortable. From the medicine pool of 35℃ to the flower pool of 44℃, from cold to hot, the whole person is warm. The hotel sent 4 hot spring tickets per room. We soaked once on the day of check-in, and then soaked again after breakfast the next day. The day of check-in happened to be the Lantern Festival. The Qingjiang Pavilion cruise ship was suspended and changed to the fireworks show and song and dance performance in Yang'asha Square. The singer sang on the cruise ship of Qingjiang Pavilion. The 30-minute fireworks show was still shocking and beautiful. Disney's fireworks show is beautiful, but that is fireworks + light and shadow, if you just watch the fireworks, Jianhe Lantern Festival this 30-minute fireworks show is the most beautiful fireworks show I have ever seen. Yang Asha, I hope that next time I come to Jianhe Hot Spring, I can have time to read the story of the goddess. The book Yang Asha placed in the hotel makes me concerned.

The room has magnificent view of Wangfenglin range of mountain, it is tastefully design, clean and comfortable room. The front desk (both 小戴) are very helpful, helping us arranging our trip, transportation etc. it is also very convenient to visit other attraction area and shops and restaurants. The breakfast is also very delicious, every morning the chef 小吳 will greet me and asked me what would i like and bring me the breakfast, you can have your breakfast at the beautiful dining area at the back or the veranda in the garden .
