The women at the reception were nice. The room we rented had two balconies with the sea view. They provide some cooking utensils so you can cook there if you need to. But the room was dusty when we arrived and the room service didn’t take cleaning of the room very important. The worst part was that their towels smelled badly, I hope they do something about that. Overall it wasn’t bad

The staff was very kind but they didn't know English. You should use the translator app. The hotel location is great. Unfortunately the parking area is too noisy (early morning and evening. ) The room isn't perfectly clean

The hotel is falling apart, we used to love this hotel back in 2013, and in 2018 but now in 2024 it is not to the standards as it used to be. The toilet was broken, the airco had to be fixed. And the wifi wasn't working properly. Also we had problems with our door. And it was such a shame that people were smoking in the hotel, it was to be smelled everywhere, it was a pity, really! On the other hand, and to be positive, the staff was super friendly, the breakfast had a lot of food (buffet). And your not far from Cangzhou station, your also near a mall with great nightlife and dances, the hotel architecture looks FANTASTIC on the exterior and personally also the interior (only the lobby). It looks like a palace. They also have ammenties such as stores, restaurants, gym, etc... If I were to improve upon this hotel, I would suggest to maintain the hotel rooms, hallways, and to have the hotel more alive, as I saw several shops closed as in not operating anymore. Everything summed up, should you stay in this hotel? Well it depends, if you are willing to put up with all this negativity, then go ahead! But if you NEED your device for working abroad, then try to find another hotel, such as holiday inn in the same city. It all sounds super exciting but it also comes with negativity. Hope this helps!

During the summer vacation, I stayed at the Golden Lion International Hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located and parking is very convenient. The surrounding environment is also good, and the Lion City Park is opposite. When checking in, Wang Lingling at the front desk also upgraded the room for free. The room is very clean and spacious. The service staff on the 15th floor is also very considerate. The refrigerator also prepared fresh fruits and drinks. It is really meticulous. It is worth recommending! ! ! There are many Cangzhou delicacies around, and it is also close to important attractions. There is also the Nanchuanlou Night Market. The hotel facilities are a bit old, and the layout is not bad. It is a pity that the mobile phone cannot be projected. The bathroom is very good, the cloakroom is also very advanced, and the room lighting is comfortable. Breakfast is on the first floor, with a rich variety to meet all kinds of Cangzhou specialties. The breakfast tastes good.

It was my husband birthday and booked Shangri-la, It was very clean and have a stunning view. The room has a nice smell. The reception was very cheerful, and they all could speak English. I requested a birthday theme for my husband's birthday and they designed the room with some towel, also send a free cake and red wine. ( I have to mention, Thank you dears) The breakfast was very delicious. We also tried the Buffet dinner one night, it was very delicious with both choices Chinese and Western. The swimming pool was clean.

I want to start from the welcome in this hotel, at check-in I was welcomed by KARA, the best welcome I have ever received in China, a very kind and professional person with splendid spoken English, he really fulfilled my every request for the rest, truly wonderful hotel, majestic in its external structure, splendid and elegant in its furnishings, my room on the twenty-first floor, spectacular with a view of the golf course. Spacious, elegant and refined room and everything spotless. I ordered a dinner in the room and in a few minutes I received everything, very good. Highly recommended!!

Second stay at this really fantastic location. It’s such an enjoyable weekend away. The staff are mostly very friendly and welcoming, but I seemed to have the bad luck of being greeted by Ms Attitude who rolled her eyes at me when I asked if she could use English. Otherwise everyone was lovely and it’s a great hotel. The Aranya village is a Great place to visit

Stayed for two nights. The hotel is clean and the service is thoughtful. A fruit plate is given every day when you check in, and the breakfast tastes good. Luggage can be stored, and the concierge (a guy with glasses) also delivered the luggage to the door of the room. The location is also excellent, and the Future Plaza is right outside the door, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. I will choose to stay here next time I go on a business trip. (｡ì _ í｡)

I found this hotel when looking for a place to stay near the wonderful, photogenic Jinshanling for the Great Wall. I was surprised that they did not have their own website. Checking in was not the easiest thing to do as they were not fluent in English, but we got through it. Location is FANTASTIC. It is literally like 50 meters from the gate to the Great Wall. I had planned to go shoot the Wall for sunset and then return for sunrise - no problem from here. Sunset was around 7:30pm and sunrise at 4:45am. I was so excited that I had no trouble getting out of bed to hike up to the Wall. I was amazed and impressed at the room/villa they had me in. Very nice! OK, there are probably cheaper places to stay, but they are not as convenient nor as luxurious, that's for sure! I was able to use my ticket to enter the Wall area the next morning, but I did not even pass anyone to show my ticket to. Jinshanling is truly a photogenic section of the wall and this Hotel is photogenic and located exactly where you want it to be.

This is an easy-to-go trip, this time mainly focused on staying in a hotel. Who knows the fun of staying in a hotel during the off-season? ! There is no doubt about the quality of Marriott. Local friends said it is the best 6-star Burj Al Arab hotel in the area. The buffet dinner has a rich variety and the desserts are highly recommended. I saw the most perfect sunrise the next day, had breakfast, and ordered pancakes twice... I went there. Went to the Internet celebrity bookstore Cat’s Sky City opposite, everything was perfect! Finally, I asked for bread at the front desk to feed the seagulls. There was always a Siberian seagull stopping for you. It was romantic and free!

A very nice service, listening to guest’s need. Fruit plate every afternoon with delicious fruits. I asked and got room changed due to noise and smell from kitchen. Also agreed to checkout 2 hours later than regular checkout time.

This hotel is very close to a beautiful beach which is a plus, however this hotel seems to be just for chineses guest, the staff didn't speak English and though they tried to do their best this was dissapointing about a Hilton hotel, is the first time when something so basic such as asking for the menu in the restaurant or basic questions such as the ckeck in or check out time, if they could provide me more complementary water, etc, could not do it because I could not communicate with them properly.

The hotel is in a very good location, with its own small parking lot 🅿️. There are many places to eat around, and it is not far from Laohu Shi Beach 🏖️. Opposite the hotel is Lawson, and there are KFC, Kudi, and Luckin nearby, where you can buy breakfast and coffee. Not far. The hotel has an intelligent voice system that calls Xiaodu every day. The service attitude of the little brother and sister at the front desk is also very good and very enthusiastic. You can still see the vague sea view if you live on the top floor, hahaha. The price/performance ratio is very good.

That was an amazing hotel for our trip. Service and facilities were superb. Also staffs are so kind and helpful. We had wonderful 2 days at this hotel. Also want to mention breakfast which was delicious and wide options. There was Chinese and Western restaurants. Absolutely we will come back again.

The holiday Inn Hotels always make you feel not disappointed . The same smell , the same comfortable bed and the same warm staff . This hotel has spacious room which is tidy and clean. The room attendant is extremely helpful and friendly. The reception girls are beautiful and professional. strongly recommended.

I am satisfied with the room. The service from the front desk lady Dong Xinxin is very good. You can order takeout for afternoon tea and a robot will deliver it to the door of the room. Location is superb which public bus stop is just in front of the hotel, airport bus stop also right in front, metro is just 300m walking distance away… WanLiMiao Pedestrian Streets is just beside the hotel which have nice lighting at night And a few big shopping mall just walking distance away.. Nice Place 👍 Grand lobby area with very polite bell boy and receptionist.. The room is a bit disappointed compare to the Grand Lobby area they have 🫣🫢 but is clean (The price is for the room,the grand lobby is a bonus☺️) They provide free snacks in the room everyday (fruits,small bread,milk and etc) Will choose this hotel again for the next visit 😊

It was a very pleasant experience to stay here. The service was very enthusiastic. The clerk solved the problem in time. I think the current service is reflected in the problem solving and attitude. During the May Day holiday, I took my child on a trip. Since it was a temporary decision to go to Chengde, I booked a room on the evening of April 29. There were no parent-child rooms. I saw that there were two separate 1.35-meter single beds in the room and decided to put them together. The 2.7-meter bed was enough for a family of three (the child was about 1.4 meters). When I arrived at the hotel, I found that there were no children's products. I called the hotel front desk to ask for children's products and soon delivered special slippers, bath towels, toothbrushes, bath gel and a thin quilt for the child. They helped us put the two beds together into a huge big bed. Since there was a plan to put the bed together, I brought a small mattress and put it on the seam, which was really comfortable. The hotel gave us a bathing ticket in Rehe. My husband went there twice and said that if the room was really crowded, the bathing overnight was also an option. The hardware was good, but there were many details about the charges. The hotel also provided a heater, which made the room a lot more comfortable after 10 o'clock in the evening. People who check in later need to pay attention: the hotel does not have soap, the shower head has no rod, which means that in addition to the sun shower head, your handheld shower head can only be fixed at a height, there are no bathroom slippers but no bathroom anti-slip mat, so you can only go barefoot. Children need to pay half price for breakfast (more than 30 yuan per time). Try to get a room near the river for a better view!

I brought my family to Chengde for a trip and stayed at this hotel. The environment is very good and it is very close to the scenic spot. There are many kinds of breakfast and the food in the restaurant is also good. Manager Wang Jiahui's service is very good. Spacious and clean room. Very helpful front service ladies, always standby to help. About 5-10 minutes walking to the mountain resort. There is one of the largest shopping mall just in between the hotel and the resort. Fifth floor has many restaurant. There are also many eateries just behind the hotel with 5-10 minutes walk. Very commended when you come to Chengde

The hotel has complete facilities and the room is very clean, which is very good for a four-star hotel. The shower and toilet are separated. I stayed in the hotel for two days and received two cups of delicious almond tea every day. Highly recommend the restaurant in this hotel, whether it is breakfast or regular lunch and dinner, it is very delicious. The Pingquan mutton soup for breakfast is very delicious and rich in variety; the Chengde banquet is also very unique. A master in his 50s took the initiative to tell us the best tour route and how to take the bus. We basically previewed it for three days according to his suggestions, which saved a lot of trouble. The hotel also thoughtfully prepared ”late night porridge” for the guests. The porridge was well cooked and comfortable to drink. I will patronize it again next time I come to Chengde, and I will also recommend it to my friends.

Hotel is situated within a neighbourhood area, suitable for those interested to experience the city from a local viewpoint. Grocery/departmental stores and various food choices within a stone's throw. Hotel staff is attentive and does great work ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Will stay here again.

Being a part of Chengde Imperial Mountain Resort, the hotel is one of Emperor Qianlong's 36 scenic spots of Chengde (#6). The hotel itself has a lot of historical value, not only the building but the garden areas. The tree in the middle of the compound is 300 years old and has been here since the beginning. Pro: location is one of the best if you're looking to visit Chengde Imperial Mountain Resort (500m away from the front gate), the rooms & beds are clean and comfortable. Con: one downside is that the breakfast buffet area, the facilities are dated and the breakfast options are geared towards more Chinese style breakfast, no Western continental breakfast here so come prepared.
