Beautiful hotel. Grand entrance with chandelier. Easy check in. Warm welcome from staff. Hotel staff Assisted with every request and made the holiday pleasant. Room had beautiful river and city views. Was actually better than the pictures online. Breakfast location: High ceilings and full windows overlooking the city and river. Spacious. Great selection of different cuisines. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again.

Convenient and convenient, located in the city center, you can walk to Chongqing Road business district, and it takes about 10 minutes by bus to reach Guilin Road snack street. The house is fully equipped with basic appliances, clean and tidy, and has good sound insulation

It's very good and cost-effective. We stayed in a twin room with two single beds and a massage bed. The view was great and it's most suitable for two adults and one child. The hotel gives you a bathing ticket. For an additional 49 yuan, you can have a basic bathing service. We tried the bathing service and it was very comfortable. If you are interested, you can also buy a more expensive package for better results. There is also a hot spring on the sixth floor. This spring water seeps out from 300 meters underground and is a branch of Changbai Mountain. The water quality is indeed very silky. The buffet is very rich. We didn't have the dinner buffet, but the breakfast buffet is included in the room rate. This is the most unobtrusive buffet I have ever had. There are many choices, the portions are large, and the taste is good. You can try the freshly steamed ones. Sea urchin dumplings. Overall I feel good and will recommend it to my friends!
Wanda Plaza is just around the corner. It's a 10-minute taxi ride to the high-speed rail station, and even after an evening of shopping, you can walk back in just 10 minutes – incredibly convenient! There are also several convenience stores nearby, making it super easy to grab some soy milk and *youtiao* for breakfast in the morning. The room was clean, and the bed was so comfortable I didn't wake up with any back pain. Abby was also very responsive, and I'd definitely want to stay here again on my next visit!

This hotel stay completely redefined my understanding of what a truly excellent accommodation should be! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the warm lighting and soothing music in the lobby immediately put me at ease. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and professional; check-in was super efficient, and they even proactively upgraded my room, which was a delightful surprise! The hotel also thoughtfully provided Type-C charging ports. The room itself was absolutely flawless: the bedding was incredibly soft, and with the blackout curtains drawn, it created a perfect sleeping environment. Even the bathroom was impressive, featuring a smart toilet and a large rainfall showerhead – every detail showcased thoughtful design and comfort. The hotel gym was equipped with brand-new machines. Breakfast offered such a vast selection that it was hard to choose, with everything from Chinese hot congee and fried dough sticks to Western pastries and coffee, truly catering to all tastes. The location is also superb, just a few minutes' walk from the nearest subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. This entire stay was absolutely perfect – a definite five-star experience! I wouldn't hesitate to choose this hotel again for my next trip.

The facilities, cleanliness, ambiance, and service were all superb. Its proximity to Dinosaur Kingdom and Folk Park was a major plus.
However, there were a few significant drawbacks:
1. The hotel's layout is incredibly sprawling; it was an extremely long walk to our room. Getting to and from the room felt like an endless trek every single time.
2. The front desk was noticeably understaffed. The attendant checking us in had to repeatedly stop to answer multiple phone calls, making the check-in process incredibly drawn out.
3. To my dismay, the hotel's swimming pool was closed for maintenance. I'm unsure if this was just bad luck or if it's perpetually under repair, but it instantly negated a key reason for choosing this hotel.
4. A quick rant about Yanji Dinosaur Kingdom: The entrance fee offers terrible value for money. For over 200 yuan, there was surprisingly little to do. We had planned for a full day, but we were done in half a day – it was utterly boring. The only truly appealing attraction, the 7D cinema, was also closed for maintenance. What a joke! Despite being marketed as one 'Dinosaur Kingdom' complex, accessing the hot springs, Happy Water World, and performances all required additional payment. A family of four could easily spend well over 2,000 yuan for a single visit.
I definitely won't be returning.

What a nice experience! Upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed and most of the staff spoke english to us , which is fantastic! Check in and Check out was smooth and very fast! I was fascinated by the interior design, our room was clean and top class! Just as I thought it couldn’t get better we went to the breakfast buffet … omw 😱😱 AMAZING ! What I loved about it was the variety of foods and the fact that they cater for foreigners ! The dinner buffet was also AMAZING!
I will definitely visit them again!

After a trip to Changbai Mountain, we stopped over in Changchun for two nights on our way back. After a long search on Ctrip, we finally settled on this hotel for two reasons: the TV series 'A Lifelong Journey' was filmed here, and it's a garden-style hotel. Our two-night stay certainly didn't disappoint, though our only regret was that it was too short.
The hotel is located on Nanhu Street, directly opposite Nanhu Park. Bus G252 stops right outside the main entrance. The nearest subway station is a bit far, about two kilometers away, so we mainly relied on ride-hailing services for getting around.
Our room in the main building wasn't large, but it was well-equipped and very clean. It seemed to have been renovated a few years ago. Staying here, you can actually sleep with the windows open at night without needing the air conditioning.
Breakfast was also decent, but the dining area seating was predominantly round tables.
The à la carte dinner at Bailian Hall was excellent. While a bit pricey, the taste was absolutely superb!
It's best to stay for at least three nights here. That way, you can take a complimentary ride on the hotel's electric buggy to fully explore and enjoy the premises. The hotel is truly enormous, covering an area of 1290 mu (approximately 212 acres), and comprises over a dozen buildings.

The room was very clean, all small appliances worked well, the bedding was clean and white, and I didn't even change the disposable four-piece set I brought. The location is very convenient. There are all kinds of food and shopping downstairs. It is also very close to the Catholic Church and Confucian Temple. There are also many buses nearby. Very satisfied.
Staying at this hotel with my child during the National Day holiday perfectly met my need to 'escape the hustle and bustle'! It's not a traditional hotel building; instead, 32 independent structures are spread throughout the park. The lobby, the Cidu all-day dining restaurant, and the swimming pool are all in the main building. We stayed in a Superior Landscape Twin Room in Building 7, which was accessible by shuttle bus. The room was spacious and clean. The new Chinese style was elegant and charming, making for a truly relaxing stay. A short walk from the hotel takes you to the wetland lake, where you can watch black swans glide by – much more pleasant than battling crowds at city attractions.
Service highlights:
1. The front desk staff were warm and efficient with check-in and check-out, patiently answering all our questions.
2. Chen Xin, a staff member in the breakfast restaurant, was exceptionally thoughtful: my child had just turned 1.4 meters, which meant he met the criteria for breakfast charges. Unexpectedly, Chen Xin proactively offered, 'Please enjoy your meal, and I'll either give you a discount or waive the charge when you leave.' This simple gesture deeply touched us and showcased the hotel's flexibility and goodwill.
3. Room service was prompt; any requests (like extra amenities or ice) were quickly handled, and the service was polite and thorough.
4. Staff in other roles (such as housekeeping and security) were also very courteous, greeting us proactively. When they saw us with our child and luggage, they even offered a helping hand.
The only downside was the behavior of a few guests – in the breakfast restaurant, there were often large amounts of leftover food piled on tables and napkins thrown on the floor. In the swimming pool changing room, despite clearly marked bins for towels and trash, some people still left used towels and clutter everywhere. While we constantly saw staff cleaning, the sheer number of guests during the National Day holiday sometimes made it hard for them to keep up. I sincerely urge guests to be more considerate of public areas.

MM237871****Heading to Changbai Mountain before the National Day peak, choosing the Wanda Sheraton Resort was absolutely the best decision. Not only did we avoid the crowds, but we also got a double surprise in terms of location and service – our experience was directly maximized!
The hotel's location is a 'gem'; we could walk to the ski resort and all sorts of entertainment options. No extra time spent traveling means you can head out whenever you feel like it, which is incredibly convenient for tourists. But what truly made this trip exceed our expectations was the five-star-plus service from Concierge Butler No. 2. From actively taking our luggage and meticulously explaining the facilities upon arrival, to consistently 'anticipating our needs' throughout our stay: noticing we wanted more rest, they proactively arranged a late check-out before we even had to ask; fresh fruit and local snacks were replenished daily without fail. They even discreetly prepared double slots for an entertainment activity we had mentioned. Every single detail showed thoughtfulness, truly putting the guests' needs first.
With a comfortable environment, convenient location, and the warm service provided by Butler No. 2, this trip was perfect. I'm already looking forward to winter, to return here and hit the slopes on skis, and to once again experience this wonderful feeling of being so well taken care of.
GGuest UserThe hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive to foreign guests. Staff at service centre were very understand to us recover lost items. Food options were plenty, though mostly Northeastern/Korean cuisines but it also includes Italian style pizza, western pastries, coffee. We can even do take-away deliveries if the weather gets too cold. Besides skiing and snowboarding, the resort has sledging (rental). Key amenities for families are the water park (not skiing) and hot spring (day of skiing).
Suggestion of improvement points:
1) Provide arrangement of ski equipment rentals (deposit) at hotel reception to avoid rush at town center service centre.. There is an unexpected high amount for deposit for rental equipment and ski clothes. If the hotel can handle this at checkin, guest won't waste time on the ski day.
2) Provide luggage carry service from hotel bus drop off point to concierge. Drop-off point was far, luggage was heavy and road was icy. For families with young children it was not easy to manage.
GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The location is perfect for travelers who need easy access to Changbaishan Railway Station, and the park right across the street provides a lovely place for a relaxing stroll. However, the most memorable part of my stay was the outstanding service I received from the moment I checked in. Chen Yuanyuan (陈园园), the hotel staff, was an absolute delight. She is always smiling, polite, and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. From the beginning, she warmly escorted us to our room and took the time to explain all the hotel amenities in detail. Her thoughtfulness did not stop there. She proactively connected with me on WeChat to ensure quick responses to any requests we had. The next morning, she personally reminded us about breakfast and even offered to come to our room to guide us to the restaurant. Her dedication was evident as she stayed until we were seated comfortably in the buffet area. Even after checkout, her exceptional service continued. She presented us with lovely hotel gifts and waited with us until our taxi arrived, ensuring a smooth departure. Chen Yuanyuan’s service attitude is truly commendable. Her attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism set a high standard for hospitality. She is undoubtedly a role model for her peers and a huge asset to the hotel. This experience reinforced my belief that service in China is truly excellent, and it’s because of staff like her that I will definitely return to this hotel on my next trip to Changbaishan in a different season. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
GGuest UserA really beautiful place with quiet and tranquility that allows us to recharge and reset from the hustle and bustle of city life. The location may be a tad far from changbaishan north slope- however, the hotel Concierge - a special shout out to Mr 孙浩熙 for going out for his way and beyond to help us get tickets and made arrangements even on his rest day.
The room is really beautiful and spacious, and it’s only a 10min walk out to get food and necessities. Side note is that the walkway could be better lighted, especially during winter as the dark falls after 5pm; and it was a little scary to walk out then.
In all, high recommended for anyone who needs a rest and have a full recharge! Really love the room and the impeccable service from all the staff :)
LLiangcha_666888## Ambiance
The environment was excellent, and the room was quite spacious.
## Facilities
Facilities were generally good, but a notable oversight for a hot spring hotel was the absence of a drying rack for swimsuits. After a dip and washing your swimwear, there was nowhere convenient to hang it to dry.
## Cleanliness
Very good.
## Service
A significant point of frustration arose with the hot spring policy. My booking confirmation did not explicitly state that hot spring access is limited to one entry per person per day. When I inquired, the hot spring area manager informed me this was the hotel's default rule. I found this completely unreasonable, and it severely detracted from my overall experience. Had such a crucial restriction been clearly communicated upfront during booking, guests would not have been caught off guard. I strongly recommend the hotel clearly outlines its hot spring usage guidelines.
RRainbow_XuStaying in Changbai Mountain during the off-season was amazing! There were very few people, the scenic area was fantastic, and the hotel service was excellent. They offer complimentary shuttle service to and from the station, and the breakfast spread is quite generous. Plus, the hotel has a dedicated VIP lane for vehicles heading to Changbai Mountain. I highly recommend it. Each guest gets a personal butler who helps with all questions, including arranging transportation.
MM8821****I managed to get tickets for the Changchun Airshow, so I booked a hotel on Ctrip. To my surprise, I found out that IHG had just opened a new InterContinental Hotel in Changchun this year – the InterContinental Changchun Gaoxin. I immediately placed an order, but it was fully booked on the 18th and 19th. To stay at an InterContinental, I decided to extend my trip by a day.
My stay was incredibly comfortable. The decor is a new Chinese-style light luxury and minimalist design, and the cleanliness definitely met five-star standards. The highlight of the facilities was the Kohler smart sensor toilet – no need to lift the lid yourself!
Finally, let's talk about the service. Every staff member I interacted with greeted me with a smile and was eager to help. I especially want to commend Lobby Manager Wang Xue; her service was truly a 'five-star benchmark.' When she learned that we had specifically adjusted our airshow schedule to stay at the hotel, she not only proactively helped us confirm the transportation routes to the airshow venue but also thoughtfully prepared portable bottled water and a sunscreen reminder card.
This stay truly made me feel that 'InterContinental quality' isn't just about luxurious hardware; it's also about the warmth hidden within their service. Even having to wait an extra day to stay here was completely worth it. The next time I come to Changchun, this hotel will definitely be my first choice!
Haha! And there's a capsule coffee machine ☕️

RRuisiliThe Grand Hyatt Changchun is probably the best hotel in Changchun.
First, my complaints: Honestly, the design is illogical. The driveway from the car entrance/exit to the lobby is a tiny, U-shaped hairpin turn! The public area of the lobby has no sofas, so a bunch of people were standing around waiting to check in! The underground parking garage is practically for expert drivers only!
It was the National Day holiday, and we booked two king rooms. One room's key card was ready at 3 PM, but the other wasn't available until 5 PM. Last year during the National Day holiday, the InterContinental Taiyuan's efficiency was far, far better than the Grand Hyatt Changchun.
Now, for the praise: The decor is very new, the rooms are spacious, and having the toilet and shower separate is a huge plus. The facilities are also very new, and the bedding meets Grand Hyatt's high standards. When they couldn't free up a room, they upgraded us. A senior manager in the lobby, who spoke fluent Cantonese, was excellent at communicating and managing the situation. Her attitude was very good, and she handled issues promptly. I hope the hotel can improve its service efficiency and optimize processes like check-in, public areas, and luggage service.
Ultimately, if you come to Changchun, I still recommend staying at the Grand Hyatt Changchun. It's centrally located, and the facilities are great. I give it five stars. However, try to avoid coming during holidays; your experience might be better on weekdays.
