Excellent location. Worth the price. Varied breakfast options. Recommended for families. Parking underground option little inconvenient and parking fees for hotel stay is expensive and shocking. Otherwise room is spacious enough and clean. Staff were helpful and check in and out process was quick and seamless.

The room is well-equipped and warm, and the sanitary conditions are also very good, especially the breakfast in the western restaurant on the first floor, which has many varieties and choices. The children enjoyed the meal very much. The service of the lady at the front desk was particularly warm and polite during check-in and check-out.

I will start off by saying that the room and bathroom were well appointed, the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. However, whilst the room was generally clean, when I dropped something that subsequently rolled under a fitted unit, I was pretty disgusted to see the dust and filth beneath it. It clearly had not been cleaned for…well…ever? I appreciate that these areas will not be as clean as the more visible parts of the room, however for a five star hotel, this is unacceptable. I do not expect to find dirty tissues and a thick layer of dust and dirt anywhere in my hotel room. But by far the absolute worst part of my stay was the inability to control the temperature in the room whatsoever. The room was so swelteringly hot that despite the comfortable bed, and everything to go with it, I was almost unable to sleep at all. I do not expect this in a five star hotel(and have never experienced it other than here and at anther Wanda hotel in Hohhot), I pay for luxury; controlling the room temperature is a basic requirement that I can even do in a 50 yuan a night hostel dorm. When I asked the staff at reception the following morning I was told the AC wouldn’t be available until after April 15th because ‘it’s cold outside’. Firstly, I am not sleeping outside, I am sleeping inside, on the 22nd floor, where it is anything but cold. Not to mention it was April, not January, even in Xining it is not that cold. Secondly, as a paying guest, in a five star hotel, it should be up to me to decide if it is hot or cold, not the hotel. For this reason, as lovely as the room, staff and breakfast may have been, I would not stay here again. I checked out and moved to the lower rated Hilton, where I could control the room temperature and actually managed to sleep…generally what the whole point of a hotel is.

We started our final China trip form Ürümqi followed by Turpin and Dunhuang. While our hotels there were reasonable, we felt really comfortable when we stayed at at a Club floor room at Sofitel Xining. Their service was one of the best we have experienced during our seven China trips so far. We enjoyed the comfort and the staff’s dedicated service. Thank you.

It was midnight when we arrived in Xining. As the starting point of the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, we had a good rest. The new hotel has a little smell, but it is fine once the fresh air system is turned on. The breakfast is not suitable for southerners, it is simple and not suitable for this star rating.

The hotel is centrally located, facing the central square. Room windows offer stunning views of Xining's city center. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, including a large Sharp TV. The bathroom is spacious, with separate wet and dry areas and a TOTO automatic flush toilet. The lobby counter is stocked with bottles of mineral water and a variety of fruit for guests to enjoy, a truly impressive touch. The breakfast is plentiful and high-quality. The staff are especially welcoming, proactively inquiring about service needs and offering recommendations, a truly valuable touch. The front desk staff are equally proactive and service-minded. The front square is spacious, with free parking, and the security guards are friendly and attentive. A gas station is just around the corner in the alley next to the hotel, making refueling very convenient.

The Bow Deer Hotel is a standard net red shop, the design is very young and modern, Environment: It is not too warm, and there is nothing to say about hygiene, especially the handsome guy at the front desk is very warm and thoughtful. It is the first choice for Qinggan Dahuan Line tourism to avoid Xining's high charges!

The name of the hotel is called ”xx Designer Hotel”. I think it should be called ”xx Designer Pit Hotel”. The facilities in the room are designed to be very pitted, such as: 1The shower installation location is very short, you need to take a horse step to wash your hair. 2 There is no dry and wet partition, the bath will wet the toilet paper towels. The most pit is the shower area without blocking the water flow of the water retaining strip, the water will spread to the bedroom when taking a bath, the three of us took a bath three times, and the water flooded the bedroom three times. 4 Bath supplies have nowhere to put, even shower gel shampoo is sticking to the wall, and it falls off as soon as it is pressed. 5 Water bar next to a device that can be pulled out, I don't know why, I don't see the instructions. 6 The most brain-burning thing is that the drawer of the wine glass under the water bar will be blocked by the wine glass when pulled out, and the wine glass cannot be taken out. Although we will not use this wine glass, we are very curious about how they were put in the first place, and we have studied it for a long time and have not worked. 7 There is no table and stool in the whole room. Fortunately, we brought a camping table and asked the waiter for a few small stools. Indeed, this hotel can experience the design sense everywhere, but this can be called reverse design, the design is very difficult to use, maybe we are stupid, can not understand such avant-garde design.

The Sofitel Residences, despite being ten years old, are still well-maintained. Having a washing machine, fridge, and induction hob makes it convenient to cook a little something. However, the hairdryer and toothbrushes could use an upgrade. The customer service staff are very well-trained. Xiao Quan at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful; hearing we wanted to stir-fry vegetables, she specifically helped us buy a wok! The hotel's location is excellent. The breakfast at the Western restaurant looks a bit dated, but the selection is quite rich. There are plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. Recommended!

This is the most satisfactory hotel booked by our Qinggan Ring Line. The service is really good, but it is intimate. The room is very clean. We have a twin room that saw us with children and upgraded to a 2 meter 4 super bed room. When I checked in, I prepared fruit and checked out. I also prepared the road.
