I had a 16-hour layover in Qingdao, so I decided to check out hotels near the airport. I ended up booking the Bangchen Hotel at the terminal, but when I arrived, I was upgraded to the Junting Hotel โ they seem to be under the same ownership! To get there from the airport's arrival level, you take the elevator to departure level A. There's a special passage next to the meeting point, and then you just follow the signs. It's super convenient and you don't have to worry about the weather! The hotel lobby is very grand, and the room was quite spacious. I particularly liked the beautiful sink in the bathroom! Even though it's right next to the airport, there was virtually no noise, which was great! The only issue was that my room was right by the elevator, which is why I gave a lower service rating. I'd suggest that when the hotel isn't busy, they avoid assigning guests rooms next to the elevator. After all, many guests stay here for early morning flights, so the sound of doors closing and people talking in the elevator area can be quite noisy and disturb sleep.
Hotel near Commercial Center Area/ BusOr Railway station /,Yantai

Overall, it's a standard five-star hotel, decent but nothing extraordinary โ no major downsides, but no 'wow' factor either. Its main selling point is its affordability and reliability.
๐ฐ **Incredible Value for Money**
Seriously, the value is unbeatable. Around 400 RMB a night, and with breakfast, it's about 500 RMB. Staying in a five-star hotel for about 250 RMB per person? That's an amazing deal for Yantai. If you're on a budget but still want a star-rated hotel, this is a no-brainer.
๐ **Super Convenient Location**
It's right across from Suochengli, so you can explore on foot. Getting a taxi to anywhere else is also easy, making it super convenient for tourists.
๐๏ธ **Hardware is Spot-On**
The bedding and bathrooms are up to par. All the hardware you'd expect from a five-star hotel meets the standards, ensuring a comfortable stay without compromise.
๐ **Breakfast is Standard Fare**
They have everything you'd expect from a typical five-star breakfast. You'll eat well and be full, just don't expect anything mind-blowing.
๐โโ๏ธ **Service is Neither Good Nor Bad**
Basic services are fine; the check-in process goes smoothly. However, the efficiency is average, and there are no thoughtful little surprises โ it's just very ordinary.
โ **Two Minor Gripes I Must Mention**
1. The room lighting is too dim. It's not 'mood lighting'; it's genuinely hard to see. It's just too dark.
2. The TV doesn't support screen mirroring. The facilities feel a bit dated. Don't just rely on past glory; a little modernization would be nice.
๐ซ **Who is this hotel suitable for?**
- Traveling with friends or parents.
- Those who spend most of their time exploring and dining out, not looking to lounge at the hotel or seeking extreme service.
- Anyone who wants to stay in a five-star hotel, save money, and prioritizes value for money.
โ **Summary:**
For value for money, this is definitely a top choice in Yantai. A five-star with breakfast for around 500 RMB is an absolute steal. If you're looking for attentive service or trendy facilities, you might want to consider other options.

My stay at the InterContinental Jinan Green Plaza was an absolute delight! I have to give a special shout-out to Jace at the front desk. Check-in was incredibly efficient, and he even upgraded my room, patiently explained all the hotel facilities, and even shared detailed sightseeing routes for attractions like Baotu Spring and Qu Shui Ting Street, along with tips to avoid crowds. His professional and warm service instantly made me feel welcome.
The hotel is ideally located in the city center, within walking distance to major attractions and shopping areas, making getting around and shopping super convenient. The room was spacious and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered fantastic views โ truly reflecting its star-rated quality in every detail. The breakfast spread was extensive, a mix of Chinese and Western options, and even included local specialties like 'Tianmo' and 'Bazi Rou'.

When it comes to prime locations, no one beats the Shangri-La. Both the spring and city views are absolutely stunning. The Baotu Spring offers unique beauty in every season, and Quancheng Square is consistently spacious and prominent year-round. The hotel has been open for some years now. The public areas and facilities are still quite good, but the in-room amenities are rather outdated. The room isn't huge, and the bathroom feels a bit cramped. For the same room type, the InterContinental's bathroom design is much more practical. The in-room equipment definitely shows its age, though it's maintained reasonably well, and the cleanliness is excellent. The shower is ancient, lacking a rain shower head, and the handheld shower is difficult to use; no matter how I adjusted it, it sprayed towards the wall, making showering quite a hassle. The drainage isn't very smooth either. Even the clothes hangers are worn out but still in use. The complimentary drinking water is the cheapest kind available, and the dental kit is practically unusable. Shangri-La, can't you procure some better quality items? These aren't even expensive. Otherwise, you'll lose all your guests. I called guest services twice from the room phone, and no one picked up. It's quite surprising to encounter such a flaw in a five-star hotel. However, the overall service at Shangri-La is very good. The staff are warm, attentive, and polite. The Christmas atmosphere on the ground floor, both inside and out, is very festive. The excellent location significantly enhances the value for money at Shangri-La Jinan.

There were so many people traveling during the Chinese New Year holiday, but the hotel service was still very good, and Xiao Li provided excellent service. We stayed for two nights, and the bed was the best part โ so comfortable to sleep in. My child loved having a bathtub for soaking. It would be even better if the shower water could be a bit hotter. Although the hotel is a bit older, the overall experience was better than expected. The breakfast was plentiful, and it was thoughtful to have four coffee machines and cups available for takeaway. It's a shame that the executive lounge on the 54th floor doesn't have a sea view, but the light meals there were substantial enough for a dinner, and the drink selection was also rich. The original Qingdao draft beer was delicious! I'd love to come back in the summer. It's very convenient to get around by subway without a car. The hotel is near May Fourth Square, and across from MixC, which is very handy.

Excellent stay experience. A hotel brand stands true for its reputation. My request for early check in was considered without any hassle. Was pleasantly surprised especially after a long journey. I have no complaints about the hotel. We liked the interruption at your place. Very friendly, kind staff. The rooms are clean and everything is functional. You even asked during the cleaning of the room, usually in other hotels the cleaning comes by itself and knocks on the door, while the guests sleep. Your hotel respects the rest of guests and it's nice! Lunch tea and other bonuses for guests are also pleasant. We put the fruit in the room and changed the refrigerator on time. There were queues in the canteen in the morning, but now there are holidays and there are a lot of people in the hotel, it's understandable. There is a lot of food in the dining room, in most cases it is Chinese, but foreigners can also find something to eat for themselves. Thank you for your care and good rest๐๐ป๐

Traveling with my family, the hotel thoughtfully arranged connecting rooms for us, which allowed for easy internal access. The rooms were spacious. Although the Qingxiang Pavilion might be a bit old, a Ferrari is still a Ferrari, even when it's old. Overall, we were very satisfied. The breakfast was plentiful, and the transportation was incredibly convenient. You can go directly to the subway station from downstairs, and just walk through the lobby to get to Mixc City. (Highly recommend checking out the sea!)

The Pullman Weifang is always my hotel of choice in Weifang, The European menu in the Cafe is a life saver serving anything from German sausages to burger or pizza to steaks. The buffet is equally good in the main restaurant where I enjoyed great lamb chops and drinks are included in the price which is a welcome relief. The hotel is located next door to a nice shopping mall and the rooms are large and spacious. The gym is extremely well kitted and the pool is amazing.

Dongying Wanda Realm hotel is very comfortable and the best I have stayed in Dongying. Spacious, quality rooms, very clean with excellent facilities, particularly the pool and gym, and with very attentive, pleasant and helpful staff, especially Andrew who has provided excellent assistance over my many stays. Highly recommended for short or long stays as the go-to hotel in Dongying.

GGuest UserI would like to sincerely thank Ms. Gao Xue๏ผ้ซ้ช๏ผ at the front desk for her exceptional service during my stay. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and highly professional. Her attitude was genuinely friendly and patient, which immediately made me feel comfortable and valued as a guest.
What impressed me the most was her kindness in offering me a complimentary room upgrade. It was such a pleasant surprise and truly made my stay even more enjoyable. The upgraded room was wonderful, and I truly appreciate this thoughtful gesture. It clearly shows her dedication to guest satisfaction and her strong commitment to delivering excellent service.
Throughout my stay, Ms. Gao Xue was always helpful and responsive whenever I had questions or needed assistance. Her positive attitude, efficiency, and professionalism reflect very well on the hotel as a whole.
Thank you again, Ms. Gao Xue, for your outstanding hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and look forward to staying here again in the future.

MMaberaeA Truly Memorable Stay โ Canโt Wait to Return!
Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. Tucked away in a peaceful and quiet area, it was the perfect escape from the usual hustle and bustle of everyday life. The surroundings were simply breathtaking โ the views alone made the trip unforgettable!
The room and amenities were impeccably maintained, offering both comfort and convenience. Dining was a highlight โ both the Japanese restaurant and the buffet served absolutely exquisite meals that weโre still talking about.
What truly made our stay special, though, was the incredible hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Nancy, Kitty, and Aria for going above and beyond to make our experience the best ever. You made us feel truly welcome and cared for.
My family and I are already planning our return โ this time for a longer stay, and we hope to try out the water sports as well. Canโt recommend this place enough!

LLele&mamaI have stayed in so many hotels, but this is my first review. This hotel is really great. We arrived at 9pm and wanted to stay in the same room with our parents and children. The front desk upgraded us to an executive suite for free. The room was big and clean, with L'Occitane toiletries. We also took our children to swim. The hotel adds points to Linyi. I have to give it a five-star rating and highly recommend it.

TTianjinwolongxianshengThis hotel boasts a central location with excellent transportation links โ the subway and bus stops are right downstairs. The staff are warm and friendly. While the hotel has a classic, older feel, it's very well-maintained. The rooms are great, and the winter pricing was a real bargain. The housekeeping staff are also very diligent. The hotel restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes with good flavors. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

XXiaochaigouThis hotel is well-equipped with excellent facilities and is very well-managed. The rooms are spacious, and the service is highly satisfactory, making it ideal for both large conferences and individual stays. We particularly appreciated the welcome gift on our first day (complimentary drinks, fruits, and snacks in the room), and the restaurant even offered free small treats like fruits and yogurt. Upon check-out, we received a complimentary farewell gift (pastries), which added a lovely touch of warmth. It's a highly recommended hotel.
