A short trip at the tail end of the Chinese New Year holiday, staying at the Tianlai Hot Spring Villa for 2 nights. The lakeside view, warm private hot spring, mahjong table in the room, and the thoughtful butler and housekeeping staff were all great. Plus, the Moon Bay Food Court was super close, and the kids had a blast! The service during the Chinese New Year holiday deserves praise. Despite the large number of breakfast guests, it was organized and orderly, with efficient seating guidance and quick table clearing. The queue for the noodle station during peak hours must have made the chef feel both happy and overwhelmed! 😄 In the mornings, we hiked Renhuang Mountain to work up a sweat, spent the afternoons sunbathing and soaking in the hot springs, and evenings playing mahjong and cards. It was absolutely relaxing, and next time we definitely need to stay for more days! Hahaha.

We booked 2 rooms. Love one of the room with the view of the stream, especially at night . However, another room is placed at the end of the hotel which need to pass through a quiet and dark path. I was wondering why can't the host upgrade the other room to the front area which is brighter when they have total of 20 rooms but only 2 rooms were occupied on the day we checked in. Other than that, everything is fine. we got to try local food during supper and breakfast prepared by the host which was new to us. Love the serenity of this place during late night and early morning when there was not many tourists

Facilities: The connecting rooms are essentially two adjacent bedrooms with two doors in between, meaning there's no shared living space and the soundproofing isn't great. We were assigned to the second floor of Building 8, which has no elevator, but staff were helpful with luggage. Food delivery also came quickly to our room before 10:30 PM. However, the room itself is very old and not very spacious. The bathroom is tiny, and the bathtub in room 8207 had very low water pressure and wasn't hot, making it practically unusable. All the amenities are quite dated, even the hairdryer was an old model. Breakfast: It was really disappointing. I walked around and found hardly anything I'd want to eat. The freshly cut fruit only consisted of watermelon, cantaloupe, and dragon fruit. Hot dishes were also very limited, definitely not up to five-star standards – you'll need to lower your expectations. Environment: Five stars. For a 4000-yuan room fee, 3000 of it goes directly to the view.

I originally planned to book a Marriott or Hilton, but switched to Nanhu Hotel instead. It turns out that was a very wise decision. The hotel's location is superb, perfect for a run or a stroll. You really can't beat it. The design is also very nice; the rooms have a beautiful, spacious Chinese style. The air conditioning heats up incredibly fast, and the view of the pagoda outside is lovely. Someone pouring coffee at breakfast was a nice touch, showing they're moving towards international 5-star standards. However, the lamb noodles, which everyone raves about for breakfast, were just average for me personally. Also, I really liked the red boat-themed ceramic cups in the room and bought some from the hotel. The front desk helped me inquire, and two staff members from housekeeping went back and forth several times during the process – I really appreciate your trouble, thank you 🙏🏻. If I had to point out areas for improvement, the dinner at the hotel was good value and the taste was decent, but the service was a bit slow. The air conditioning made a slight noise at night, and there was a faint renovation smell in the room. But for people who aren't sensitive to these things, it should be fine.

Facilities: Comprehensive Hygiene: Very clean Environment: Excellent Service: Superb Quzhou is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province. We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton for a self-driving trip during the National Day holiday. Parking was convenient and free, the service was warm, and the accommodations were comfortable. We were extremely satisfied. The hotel is very close to historical and cultural attractions like Quzhou Ancient City Wall, Shuijingmen Scenic Area, Kong Family Temple of the Southern Branch, and Quzhou Museum. We went exploring in the evening, and the ancient city was bustling with activity – it was fantastic!

This is our sixth consecutive early winter stay here, and we keep coming back because the environment is just superb. While some facilities are a bit older, they've been quick with hardware upgrades. In the last two years, they've replaced the TVs, added smart toilets, and updated the hairdryers. The overall experience remains excellent. Combined with the palette-like scenery of early winter and the top-notch lake views, this will continue to be my only choice for many future visits. The housekeeping staff is also incredibly enthusiastic and always willing to help. Truly fantastic!

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The TV had a lot of very interesting shows including English language movies and movies with subtitles. The bar in the lobby is also very nice, the bartender makes very good MaiTais. Definitely recommend!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! A huge thank you to Evelyn and Alice at the front desk! They were so welcoming during check-in, not only proactively telling us about the hotel facilities and local dining options but also kindly upgrading our room type. Evelyn was incredibly patient, answering all our questions about exploring the local area. Alice was very thoughtful; seeing we had a child, she even prepared a special gift for them. Really recommend this hotel! First of all, it is new enough, the rooms and public areas are refreshing, the facilities are fully in line with my expectations, and it is very comfortable to use. Secondly, the breakfast exceeded expectations, the hot and cold meats were fully matched, and it was very satisfying. The most plus point is that parking is particularly convenient, too friendly to the self-driving party, and must be praised!

The hotel's location is a major plus, right by the lake, which is fantastic. You could spend half a day just exploring the grounds, which offer a perfect blend of cultural landmarks and natural beauty. It’s ideal for leisurely strolls and taking photos. They have charging stations for electric vehicles (State Grid and TELD) located on the hillside opposite the coffee shop in Building 8. My room was in the furthest part of Building 8 and was generally fine, but the soundproofing wasn't great. There was a lot of noise that night from tree maintenance on Yanggong Causeway. The buffet dinner and breakfast were both good and I'd recommend them.
