This hotel and staff were the most kind, courteous, helpful, clean and family oriented - I mean they make you feel like family! I have spent many nights in hotels because of my line of business in real estate and I have NEVER loved a hotel experience like my ten days at this hotel. I never write reviews, good or bad. You cannot go wrong here. Tourists will understand when I say that feeling safe is a must, especially in another country. In the room there was a personalized safe to keep your valuables secure and the staff NEVER enter your room unless directed by guests. The rooms are spotless and fresh smelling, the staff is the hardest working, going beyond with every request - completely and always. This hotel was also the cleanest and best stocked with any amenity needed. My partner and I enjoyed the sanitized saunas, jacuzzis and gym - permitting us to create special long lasting memories! Come to Bogota and stay at this hotel; you will thank me. ＜3 We hope to stay here again, very soon. Good •Good breakfast. They made us a vegan breakfast, even when they don't normally offer vegan options; but it was the same every day. •Cleaning and daily amenities. (Although in the ”cons” I detail the issue of cleaning) •Excellent service. All the staff are more than helpful and resolutive. •The Internet connection is good and stable. We were working 8 hours a day and we had no problems. ATTENTION HERE because we asked to change a room with a better view and when they changed us, there was no internet, so we had to go back to where we were before. So, keep in mind that there are apartments with no Wi-Fi. •24h reception •Very quiet. There's no noise. This gave us a lot of quality of life and more coming from the noise hell that there was in the accommodation in Playa del Carmen. •Spacious. Enough space for storage and put the suitcases. •Good workspace. (desk and confortable chair) •Spa. However, there are restrictions to use the spa Bad: •The kitchen has less than the basics and that is a problem if you expect to cook during your stay because, even if you complain, they will not be able to bring you everything you need. In my case, for example, I needed a pasta strainer, bowls and a good knife and they said they didn't have them. •The gym is small and does not have much. •The apartments are cold and don’t have heating. The only way they solve it is by giving you a blanket. •Regarding cleanliness: I do not like that the floor of the room is covered by a carpet; also, the carpet was completely disgusting. In addition, the utensils they used to clean were more dirty than clean. The surfaces and the bathroom were always very clean, but the floors were not. It is very important to take care of cleaning, disinfection and vacuuming very well, especially when the accommodation accepts pets and considering that we are still living in a pandemic. In conclusion, we had a good stay although perhaps I would recommend it more for a short stay. By the end I was already a bit upset by the carpet and the little glitches. But for the offer that there is and the quality / price ratio that you can find, it is not bad. What is certain is that the hotel would gain a lot of potential if it remodeled the apartments (I think it needs urgent restoration).

The hotel has a superior geographical location and convenient transportation, and is surrounded by many commercial districts and tourist attractions. The hotel rooms are spacious, bright, well-equipped, comfortable and warm. The beds are soft and comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. The bathroom facilities are luxurious and provide high-quality toiletries and towels. The hotel's service is also very attentive, and the staff are warm and friendly, providing guests with personalized service. The hotel's business center and travel desk also provide a wealth of services and assistance. In short, GHL Capital Hotel is a very good hotel, very suitable for business trips or vacations.

The Hilton Hotel in Bogota is the best Hilton hotel in the world. The staff is truly amazing and everyone treats you like family. I want to give a special thanks to Alejandra, Luisa and Jose in the executive lounge. The food is so delicious and the staff is always attentive to your needs. I would also like to thank Harrison, Jackson, and Camilo for always helping me with my luggage and welcoming me. The front desk is absolutely amazing and I would like to thank Diego, Andrea, Majorle, and Viviana. Karen and Mariana in the office are so kind and helpful always. I wish that I can give the Hilton Bogota 10 stars and thank everyone personally, as they truly make this hotel a memorable experience always. I can't wait for my next trip to Bogota so I can come back to this wonderful hotel !!! :)

Let me start with the positives: As Bogota’s airport is the major hub for domestic flights in Colombia, we spent 4 nights at the Courtyard. It’s very conveniently located in almost a walking distance from the airport and have a good shuttle service. As you can expect from Courtyard by Marriott (I am a platinum member) rooms are nice and the restaurant was good. Stuff were friendly. I would have rated it at 4 stars but… We wanted to get to Zipaquira Salt Cathedral (Catedral de Sal) and asked the receptionist’s help. They communicated with the transportation services they use (GERF) and gave us a quote of 220,000 COP for a minivan. Yet, on the night before travel they have told us the price is actually 379,000 COP. They have admitted they have made a mistake and the manager even suggested to compensate us with dinner for the honest mistake. I showed him the lonely planet book showing an estimated price of up to 160,000 COP for a taxi to Zipaquira which includes 2.5 hours wait at the Salt Cathedral. He mentioned their transportation services (GERF) includes a wait of up to 5 hours which would allow us enough time to visit the Cathedral and enjoy the city. We have accepted the offer and thought it was a real nice gesture from the manager to compensate us. After we have finished the visit to the Cathedral which took us about 2 hours, we have decided that instead of staying at the city we would prefer to go to Monserrat which is just a short detour from the way back to the hotel. We have asked the driver if we can spend the rest of the wait time on Monserrat instead and he acknowledged it. We spent about 2.5 hours to visit Monserrat. When we arrived back in the hotel the driver asked for 535,000 COP claiming the agreed total travel time they have committed was 5 hours, not the wait time as communicated and agreed by us. Given the trip to Zipaquira is about 2 hours each way that obviously doesn’t make sense as it means it allows only 1 hour at the Salt Cathedral and no time at the city. It means they have known we would need to pay much more. We have discussed it with the hotel reception and asked to talk with the manager who was not at the hotel but they were unable to resolve the issue. We have reluctantly paid the difference but felt we were cheated (…and paid almost 3 times a regular taxi service we could have ordered). Must admit the hotel gave us the dinner for free as promised but in 2 weeks of traveling in Colombia using hotels to arrange our transportations it was the only incident we have faced. Bottom line - good hotel but we felt cheated which ruined our experience. Suggest NOT to use their transportation services (GERF - see picture attached) or at a minimum be very specific and put the terms in writing to avoid such bad feelings and experience.

We loved this hotel experience and even got to go back a second time during our time in Colombia. The hotel is up to date and the beds are very comfortable. The staff are friendly (Chris the bell hop is very caring) and polite. You can tell they take pride in ensuring your comfort. Service is quick either maintenance or in room dining. The nails salon is outdated and not what you would expect from the hotel, we did manicures and pedicures but the ladies were super nice and caring. The breakfast buffet is busy after 9am and hard to get served by wait staff...best to go around 7:30am-8am for the best experience. We booked transport through the hotel to go Ziper and was quoted 171,000 pesos or $44 usd, when we got back to the hotel the driver charged us $69usd because of the 3 hours ($24,000 pesos per extra hour) extra that we were stuck in traffic. Your best bet is to use Uber to travel around and rappi for food. We were surprised that we had to purchase swim caps for the pool which was mandatory. All in all I would definitely recommend staying here.

Exactly what I wanted and what I expected. 3rd time here and would come back, if I need a hotel close to the airport. Brest price. Good restaurant. Free shuttle, works perfectly. Clean and has, what a traveller need! Breakfast included and you can ask for spécial wishes. Small shop, if you need something.

We arrived at this hotel in the early hours of the morning (4am) after a long haul flight from the U.K. We were obviously very tired and check in was done very quickly and without any stress. We were taken up to our room which, on the face of it seemed spacious and nice, if a little tired, and went straight to bed. I can't fault the customer service, everyone was very professional, polite and welcoming. Disliked · As I showered the following morning, I noticed a dripping coming from the ceiling above the toilet and the ceiling was bowing. We agreed that once we were ready we would report this to reception. I was just drying my hair and there was a big whoosh and part of the ceiling came down! Luckily, no one was hurt but I am surprised that the housekeeping service had not picked up on the leak previously, as this had obviously been building up for some time! I called a lady from housekeeping who was along the corridor from us and she came and had a look and we were swiftly moved to another (not so nice) room that had a ceiling but we guessed had not been used for a while as smelt musty and when we ran the tap the water initially came out brown! It was the first day of our holiday and for the sake of one night didn't want to make a fuss! From our experience, the rooms badly need a refurb but the customer service we received was good.
