This is our favourite hotel in Nuremberg!! Attention to detail on every step of the experience, their crews were simply amazing! They are happy to serve you, not one person but every staff that I encountered. I got a surprise birthday cake in my room with a hand written note, am truly grateful and heartfelt. So thank you, Karl August your neighbourhood hotel. 5 stars and beyond. We will be back again for sure!

At that time, the front desk enthusiastically gave an accommodation guide. I looked carefully the next day and found out that there were free coffee, tea and flying alcohol. Parking is free. There is also a sauna.

From the moment I stepped into the tranquil haven of the Vier Jahreszeiten Spa, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of serenity and well-being. The spa facilities are impeccable, featuring a range of treatments and therapies that cater to every guest's needs. The expert therapists displayed a deep understanding of their craft, ensuring a customized and revitalizing experience. After indulging in one of their signature massages, I felt completely refreshed and invigorated. The spa's attention to detail and commitment to providing a sanctuary of calmness was truly impressive. As for the location, Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski is a true gem in the heart of Munich. Situated on the prestigious Maximilianstrasse, it offers an ideal home base for exploring the vibrant city. From the hotel, you can easily reach Munich's iconic attractions, designer boutiques, and renowned dining establishments. The convenience of being able to stroll through the historic city center or simply step outside to admire the beauty of Maximilianstrasse made my stay even more enjoyable. It's a testament to the hotel's commitment to offering guests the best of Munich right at their doorstep. The overall experience at Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski was nothing short of exceptional. The luxurious accommodations, attentive staff, and attention to detail throughout the property were all factors that contributed to a memorable stay. A pleasant stay for 2 nights, bright and nice restaurant for the good breakfast. Hotel located very near to the scenic river and the city centre but quite far an away from train station. The hotel surrounding areas were rather quiet.

Overall, we had a great stay at WunderLocke Munich. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transport and nearby supermarkets, making it a good base for exploring the city. The studio was modern, comfortable, and very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Having a fully equipped kitchenette and all the essential amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The only downside was that when we first checked into our room, there were quite a lot of insects inside, which was not a pleasant first impression. Fortunately, the rest of our stay was enjoyable. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for its comfortable rooms, convenient location, and excellent facilities.

For a hotel located by the lake with a relatively high rating, I naturally expected a comfortable and reasonably spacious room with a nice lake view. However, I booked a single room and was honestly very disappointed upon entering. The room was extremely small, the bed felt cramped, and the ceiling was very low due to the sloped roof which means I couldn’t even sit upright on the bed comfortably. Even worse, there was no proper view through the window at all. The window was tiny, making the room quite dark, and it didn’t face anything pleasant. The photos on the website were also quite misleading and did not match the actual room I received. For a room priced at around €150 per night, this kind of space and condition feels unreasonable. To be fair, the facilities in the whole are fairly good. There is a wellness area, a gym, and a restaurant with great food and a nice view. However, the restaurant is also quite expensive, and breakfast is not included and must be paid separately. Given the pricing, I don’t think these aspects deserve excessive praise. What really matters is the room itself. Paying €150 per night for a room of about 15 square meters, with an average ceiling height of less than 2.2 meters and a very tiny window facing other’s balcony, honestly made me feel misled. In my opinion, the room quality does not match the price at all.

The hotel is right next to the train station. The front desk staff provided excellent service, offering a glass of wine upon check-in and even upgrading our room. The room was clean and tidy. There's also a restaurant right in the courtyard, which offered a great dining experience.

The hotel is only 100 meters from Munich Central Station, which is incredibly close – that's probably the only good thing I can say about it. The location is very convenient for getting around. However, the area around the train station looks quite chaotic, especially in the evening. There are a lot of Black people gathering and drinking on the streets, making it feel very unsafe. We chose this hotel initially because we planned to use Munich as a base for day trips to Neuschwanstein Castle and Königssee. The hotel lobby felt rather dim and wasn't very pleasant to be in. The air conditioning in the hotel was completely useless. When we reported it, we were told that the entire city's power capacity was insufficient. We ended up having to request a fan and open the window, waiting until it got cool late at night before trying to sleep. Even then, we woke up in the middle of the night feeling hot again. The breakfast looked like there was a good variety, but it was just more types of meat and more types of bread – nothing special beyond that. Also, they only provided complimentary water on the day of check-in and didn't replenish it afterwards.
