The staff were very friendly, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained throughout.
My room was tidy and comfortable, and the steak restaurant inside the hotel was excellent!
Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely come back again.
I had the pleasure of staying at the Bryggen Guldsmeden Hotel in July 2025, where I booked a Standard Room. My experience was thoroughly enjoyable and memorable.
The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly, always ready to assist with a warm smile, which made my stay even more comfortable. The room was impeccably clean, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. One of the standout features was the beautiful, warm pool that provided a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring and metro station is 5 minutes walk.
Overall, I would rate my stay at Bryggen Guldsmeden Hotel a solid 9/10. The combination of excellent service, clean accommodations, and a relaxing pool area makes it a hotel I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Location is perfect with the exhibtion in Bella Center, as well as the M1/M2 metro station close by.
Cleanliness of the hotel room was good.
The breakfast service was ok but outrageously expensive and crowded with long lines to get in the restaurant and to get your food and coffee. On the opposite site of the restaurant was a second restaurant option which was less busy. I asked very friendly for a fresh bean in cup coffee there, but this was refused. I could only get drip coffee there from the tank or should go (back) to the first crowded restaurant.
On top of this, there was an average waiting queue of 5-10 minutes at the elevators to go down. Next to the amount of people this is mainly caused by the lift program; this is set to prioritize requests set from within the elevator above requests going down at the respective floors.
Checking in & out are done via the self-check in automat. Didn't try the breakfast. There's an indoor swimming pool which is great. Room is clean & tidy, with some traces of dust though. The hotel looks dated but well-maintained. The bartender is cheerful and staff are friendly. Just a few steps away from Kastrup Airport. Train station connected to the hotel so we simply took the train to Copenhagen city centre ftom the hotel which took about 20 minutes.

Steel House Hostel was great for my 4 day stay in Copenhagen. I stayed in a 6-person women's room, and got assigned an upper bunk. The room was quite nice (a bit cramped but nothing out of the ordinary), and I liked how high the bunk was- above head height when people were standing, so it didn't feel like others were in my space, and there was plenty of space to sit fully up in the bunk. Bed and pillow was comfy. Lockers were a good size (fit my carry on suitcase plus a backpack; others had bigger suitcases that didn't fit), but the locking mechanism was a bit challenging- basic idea but seemed to be mechanical issues).
There was a thermostat that could be set as low as 17C (~63F), which was the setting in my room, but this didn't work well- it was definitely in the low 70s (F) in the room and felt quite warm for sleeping. The fans in the bathroom and shower (separate, which was good for a shared room) didn't seem to work (no knob apparent for the shower; there was a knob in the bathroom but it didn't do anything), so the room got humid after one or two people showered.
The hostel is huge, and almost more like a hotel. WiFi was spotty or absent in the room, but plenty of common areas to sit or work downstairs. Kitchen was frequently used, and I took advantage of the kitchen fridge for having skyr and fruit for breakfasts (costs 25DKK for your whole stay).
I also rented a bike for a couple days. It seemed overpriced (~135 DKK for 24hr) but can't beat the convenience, and the bike (standard city cruiser) worked just fine.

Scandic Spectrum Hotel is located in a very nice location in Copenhagen. Although hotel is very new, facilities are are poor, rooms are small and very packed, Fortunately we could change our room and get a slightly bigger and better room.
In the advertisement of Trip.com, it was mentioned about the swimming pool but we found it wasn't included with room price and should be paid!
Breakfast was good but not with many options.
It seems this hotel is used for conferences and it was very crowded!
Generally it was good although it was below 4 star that was mentioned by Trip.com!

It's a very unique hotel with stylish Nordic design inside. The best thing is the hotel's swimming pool. I think many people come here for it. The restaurant on the top floor of the hotel has a comfortable environment. It is good to have a glass of wine or coffee, and the food is relatively simple. The service at the front desk downstairs is relatively mediocre. It is basically the service of a small inn. It is not enthusiastic, not proactive, and does not help with luggage. It is not bad, just average.
The room was clean and spacious, with a small balcony and a nice view. The kitchen area provided tableware and cleaning supplies for making a simple breakfast. There was a washing machine in the bathroom, but no laundry detergent was provided.
The hotel is only 200m away from the train station, which is very convenient. There is an amusement park next door. The breakfast is also good, but I didn't understand at first that slippers and toiletries were not provided (most of Europe does not provide them). Fortunately, I asked the hotel and bought a pair of slippers to solve the problem.
We went to the hotel by car. There is a long way to the hotel. If you take public transportation, you have to walk a lot to get in. Halfway through the drive, you will see the horse farm and the residents who are riding horses, and you will arrive at the hotel after you pass through the stalls. This hotel is also famous for its own golf club, and there are many members depending on the number of parking lots.
The castle hotel itself is actually not big. The first floor is mainly a restaurant of decent scale, a guest lounge, and of course a conference hall. The middle terrace on the second floor is actually another restaurant, which can be reserved for businessmen to start a buffet lunch. You can go up and take a look or take pictures when you are not in the dining time.
Regarding the rooms, it should be noted that regardless of whether the room type has an auxiliary building or not, as long as it has a balcony or a terrace, it is in the auxiliary building. The main building, which is the only white building, all rooms have no balcony and terrace, including luxury suite.
We ordered a room with a terrace, which is actually on the first floor of the annex building next to it. The terrace is a small garden where the back door goes out, but it is not all enclosed. Anyone can walk in directly from the outside. Of course, we have not encountered such a problem. Reasonable people who came directly to sit on our terrace sofa, but it is undeniable that this terrace is a bit disappointing. We also asked the hotel about this, because there is no annex building next to this room type, and the response we got is that the main building and the annex building are connected by underground passages, so all are counted as castles even if the ground looks separated and the colors are different. There was no alternative, we accepted this explanation. We tried the underground passage and it was a bit detour, but it was really convenient on rainy days, but it was very unsuitable for carrying luggage, so our luggage was parked directly at the entrance of our annex building and then moved in.
The hotel’s breakfast is more traditional, it is a cold meal. There are not many varieties and it looks exquisite. If you need scrambled eggs, you need to ask the waiter. It is recommended to sit down and look at the menu on the table before deciding. Different egg methods have a difference between a charge and no charge. Although it is almost the same thing, we came up because we did not read the menu blindly and listen to the waiter’s introduction, and we were not told to charge. I'll be a little dumbfounded in the future. But the taste is good. I personally don't like the whole cold meal. It may be the Chinese stomach can't stand it, so it is recommended to order a scrambled egg for no extra charge.
Generally speaking, the room is exquisite, the toilet is slightly small but the retro style is very good, the writing desk is special and style I like it, and it is worth mentioning that I asked the front desk for hot water, and then gave me one Come over with a hot water kettle. As a Danish hotel that generally does not have a hot water kettle, this is worth extra points.

TTillmannsWe just completed a 2nd time stay within a month and we were glad to come back to this service apartment styled hotel. Kitchenette with the NETTO supermarket in the bldg plus a top bakery around the block makes it always convenient. Same goes for the gym, pool and sauna. Bikes to rent are very solid. Also you have plenty of jogging kilometers waiting for you which you can start straight from the hotel doors. Reception was extra flexible this time.
