Hotels With Pools in Basque Country, Spain

Gran hotel tanto por su ubicación como por sus servicios. El personal de la recepción super agradable y el personal de limpieza igualmente. El desayuno buffet muy variado con unos productos locales de calidad. Repetiremos seguro en nuestra próxima visita a Durango.

The overall stay was quite good. The hotel is in a good location. The beach is right outside the hotel. The room is not very big, but it has everything it should have. The balcony is quite good. I thought the balcony was directly facing the beach at first, but it was only a small part, but it was good enough. The first picture was taken on the balcony. I was quite satisfied with the price. There is a hiking route where you can see the entire sea view, which is particularly beautiful. The view of the sea and sky is so charming. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to the city. It is also a very good place. Overall, it is highly recommended. Because it was a self-driving tour, it was already past 12 am when I arrived. The people in the bar in the hotel helped me find someone to arrange a room, so those who check in after midnight must call the hotel in advance to confirm the room number.

Everything was great, the room was beautiful and super clean, we loved it.

We came here without a car having got busses from Bilbao. Not easy finding a hotel with a pool and within LaGuardia so worked perfectly. Arguably not a four star but was comfortable and and pool was lovely. Would recommend for the price

Good location, close to the city centre. Basic rooms, double bed was quite small and the pillows flat. When asked in reception for extra towels for the outdoor pool they didn’t give them and only offered to use the bathroom towels and exchange for clean ones after. Tooftop pool is a paddle pool (water level reached my knees). Clean overall.

What an amazing hotel, the staff were most friendly and helpful. Its proximity to the old town makes this a must stay location. The breakfast was spectacular and the rooftop pool and bar were fabulous. Overall an excellent location and will be a repeat stay for me in the future.

New hotel very clean nice rooms and wonderful pool.  It’s 25 min walk to the Centro but there is a bus for two euro and tax 9 euro, in the evening it’s hard te get a taxi and find the bus. WE had to walk back twice.  The door locks make a very hard nice which awakes you in the morning

Nice hotel with ample parking. Excellent location for exploring the city. You can walk to Casco Viejo in 15 minutes, and the metro stop is also nearby. The breakfast buffet is very good and extensive, with a huge selection. The only downside was the strict rules around the pool, which is also part of a sports club. This meant the children couldn't really play there.

All perfect, I just miss the restaurant !

Everything was perfect. The hotel is a bit old and maybe doesn't deserve 4 stars. But we know that in Spain hotel stars are a bit more overrated than in France. The only problem is that one room wasn't ready when we arrived because our request for a large bed for the 2 rooms had not been taken into account. But nothing serious, our request was satisfied later. But for a 4 star... The setting is idyllic...
