The hotel is an old building, it looks very classical, but it seems that the paint is still used to hit the floor, the taste is very big. We were so sad to leave after 3 days, I recommend making it your base for the Loire Valley (not least because it’s the prettier side of the Loire). We looked forward to our return from the castles in the afternoon: swimming and lounging, strolling through the Romantic garden or choosing one of its many ‘rooms’ to while the evening away, doing a 5km run through farmland and tree-lined paths along the Indre, relaxing with a cocktail and playing billiards (badly) or dipping into the library. The rooms are comfortable, the atmosphere, artistic and relaxed. Highly recommend having the breakfast and dinner, home-made and delicious. Coral is on hand with great suggestions for your trip. In fact, it feels like stepping back in time into a ‘pensione’ where all you have to do is arrive.

I always stay here when I visit Orleans! Unlike Paris, the rooms are spacious for the price, which is great! You can easily open up a large suitcase. As it is located on the banks of the Loire River, the view from the hotel windows is amazing! If you stay on a higher floor, you can see the whole city of Orleans, and even the cathedral! The bed is spacious and the room is relatively clean. I was grateful that it had a unit bath, which is quite rare in French hotels. I will stay here again!

The facilities in the hotel are also very simple, which is a good place to enjoy. There are not many parking spaces inside, but there should be spare. If you are full, you should park outside the hotel. There is no elevator, so it is recommended that if the check-in time is relatively short, you can consider putting the box in the car and only take the necessary items into the hotel. Nothing else, it is really a great hotel. The garden has a secret forest path, which is very beautiful.

Only critic that I can say is that the entrance that leads to the hotel could be improve, it felt like we were going to get lost in the middle of a jungle 😅. Other than that, beautiful rooms with a private terrace, very tasty food in their restaurant that we went for the bistro but definitely need to try out the fine dining one next time, even the breakfast was full of choices from French to international style. Stayed for one night with my fiancé but definitely will come back for more!

It is 4KM away from Chambord Castle and the town is very quiet. Dinner must be booked in advance. The hotel was first built in 1519, so it is understandable that there is no elevator. There will be a certain amount of noise when walking up the wooden stairs. Wearing earplugs when sleeping can solve this problem. Breakfast was pretty good, coffee optional. The seabass on the dinner menu is pretty good. Try to avoid the one in the picture. It's some kind of chicken, maybe mixed with the flavor of ham as an ingredient. It has a very special taste and may not be suitable for everyone.

The environment of the hotel is good, the so-called castle hotel, the castle is small, but the building is beautiful, there are forests and lotus ponds in the courtyard, there are small frogs on the lotus leaves, the restaurant is open, sitting in the yard to eat, watching the scenery is very comfortable. The hotel also has a small swimming pool. The hardware is good and the environment is very good. The facilities in the room are also very new and the bathroom facilities are of good quality. The location of the hotel is on the half-mountain side of Tour, the Loire River is under the mountain, and the old town of Tour is also under the mountain, about3.5 kilometers away. Driving down the mountain, you can locate the church of Tur. After the evening, you can park your car in the parking lot between the church and the castle. It is free. There are various restaurants on the side street. There is also a Carrefour open until 10 pm. The street restaurant has French Italian and Syrian dishes. French food is more troublesome. It is not very troublesome to speak French. The price per person is about 20 euros. If you want insurance, go to eat simple Turkish barbecue.
