Guest UserGreat location. Good leisure facilities but if staff spent more time off thier phones and tidying the changing rooms they wouldn’t look like a school changing room which let the place down on a quiet afternoon.
Rooms a little tiered with plumbing issues.
Great comfortable bed

TheVoyagerThe room was clean and cosy and front-desk was friendly and responsive. We booked mainly to check out the pool, spa and gym as advertised by the hotel. So it was really disappointing when we found out that these facilities were closed on Xmas day and on other days operated at limited hours when we were there. The pool, sauna, steam room and gym are operated by a separate company from the hotel. That meant operating hours of those facilities are not catered for hotel guests at all. And it also meant sharing the facilities with members of the gym. So if you’re thinking of staying here and using the gym or pool, just bear those things in mind. Breakfast selection was quite limited. Very bare selection of any salads or greens. Quite embarrassing as well to see that clean plates were not available several times when there were less than 20 covers at breakfast. I understand it was the holiday season and the hotel is understaffed. But I’m sure this is not the first Christmas or NYE the hotel has encountered.

no parking at this establishment and no dropping off available at times as their maintenance and delivery vans might take up the small space cut into the front pavement. They do provide you with a discount voucher at nearby public carparks. Rooms are clean but the decorating is a patch up job throughout. The noise from the tram it is horrible and through the night as windows are not soundproof. In our room the heating was out of order and oil filled radiators were put up instead. Television sets have either the option for TV channels or to connect to your phone: bad aerial prevented viewing most channels and TV only connected to the staff's androids and not to our iphones. There was no options for apps such as youtube or netflix and kids have to entertain themselves on their tablet. Swimming pool is the size of a private one in a residential home. Staff is courteous and the breakfast is way and beyond satisfactory. The majestic hall from their photos was nowhere to be seen. Would go again if no other options shall be available at the time.

I stayed at the Village Hotel Manchester Cheadle from the 20th to the 21st and accidentally left my Oral-B electric toothbrush and La Mer face wash on the bed. These are high-value items, and I immediately called the hotel on Sunday morning, fully expecting them to be professional and help me retrieve my belongings. Instead, I was met with complete indifference and disregard.
Despite their company policy stating that lost items should be returned if found, I was simply told that nothing had been discovered in the room. I am 100% certain I left them on the bed, but instead of investigating further, the staff dismissed my concerns and didn’t even bother to follow up. As a paying customer, I expected a level of care and responsibility, but I received none.
The worst part is that when I asked for an update, they merely shrugged it off, stating that “if they could find it, they would have by now,” despite less than 24 hours having passed since my stay. This lack of effort, urgency, and empathy from the hotel is shocking and unacceptable. It feels as though they couldn’t be bothered to take my situation seriously or value me as a guest. I will not be returning, and I urge others to avoid this hotel if you expect any kind of respect or attention to detail regarding your belongings.

It’s not 5 star…
Probably a hard review to write, if it had a title it would be “imbalanced”
Food and drink were excellent and service staff in both areas were on point
Front of desk were a mixed bag but again majority were on point, had 2 rooms(1 an upgrade) both had tired woodwork and fittings that fell apart and a mini bar (empty) with the fascia falling off
You pay 5 star prices and don’t get 5 star package, arrived early so was ok not getting my room but to sit and watch in excess of 50 people get checked in after me and still not get my assigned room after 3pm is poor at best
Upgraded to a suite when we complained about the overall room and experience after being told our original room is an held as an upgrade for others but I had already paid for this level of room may months ago…
Breakfast, food and in restaurant was superb but was challenged at the front as they had no record of my having already prepaid for breakfast which I then had to show them proof from my booking details
We felt judge on arrival which made us feel uncomfortable and felt like as we hadn’t booked direct then we were held back in room allocation
We won’t be back as stayed in much better hotels in the area at a much cheaper price, as said “imbalanced”

charleston1Stayed here before our morning flight and it was great. Couldn't get a better location, since it's inside the terminal complex. We stayed in a runway view room and it was cool to see the planes landing and taking off, and it wasn't much extra for the runway room compared to a normal.
Staff were lovely at check in and the room was comfy and completely silent.

Guest UserAll the hardwares are brilliant. Nice room , great location and good facilities but horrible customer service . Have a nice check-in on the first day , sorry for forgot the name, beautiful smile with a warm welcome and remember me when I come back in the next week. However not on the other days, the other receptionist always look grumpy. The thing is I’ve paid the parking every day when I come back from work but for some reason it didn’t show I paid on one of the day and charged it on my card which I paid the deposit. Email the customer service to claim it back , sent all the transactions from my bank to prove but cannot notice the mistake in the first two emails and just say that is what it is. After a few days gat back to me with a few words the money will go back to my account in a few days. No apologies or explanation for the incident, make me feel that I’m the wrong side and just want to cheating. Horrible customer service.

Guest UserRoom a little dated and sink did not work as the plug was stuck in it. The staff were very friendly but the food was not good. I asked for nachos and was told they weren’t available and so I decided to take fish and chips. The fish was over cooked and the chips were full of grease and I couldn’t eat them. Was given a refund for the fish and chips.
Breakfast was a good choice but you have to pay for a decent coffee. Not sure if I’d stay here again.
