This hotel was clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We had lunch at The River Bar which was reasonably priced and the food was good, / We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on that. The room was clean, slightly dated but had everything you needed. The Spa was clean, would recommend to bring sliders/crocs as the floor in the swimming pool area was very slippy, although the hotel does provide a robe and slippers. One of the saunas was out of action but they had other ones available to use. In terms of location it is slightly out of the way, which was nice as it was quiet. We got a taxi and used the tram to get to the city centre which was fairly simple. Overall very good value to stay here and very good that the spa facilities is included at no extra fee. I would recommend! Many Thanks :)

Where to start, the room was extremely spacious with cooking facilities, great shower and a comfy bed and pillows. Ideal for a 4 night stay. There was also free washing and drying facilities on the mezzanine floor. The breakfast was good with a varied selection of breads, juices and salad, meats and cheeses. There were also protein juices and Bucks Fizz should you so choose. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. The location was ideal for getting around town too although there were not any decent restaurants in the vicinity that we found. We ate in the city center most days. All in all a great stay and a place I would recommend. We booked this on on Trip.com and the site stressed the importance of calling the hotel to confirm you were checking in. This is nonsense as we were told this was absolutely no necessary by hotel staff when I called.

A great hotel in a convenient location. The room was quite big and cozy, and quiet. The spa was nice and included different amenities (pool, saunas, steam room). One thing to improve are the slippers provided. Combined with the water on the floor of the spa makes slipping very easy.

The hotel is well located to walk around and there are great places to eat nearby. It’s a 15 minute walk to the Christmas markets and river. The hotel is very nice in the entrance with a dramatically beautiful lobby, but the rooms are small, dark and in my case not very clean. Before I keep with the negative aspects, I’d like to make a special remark to Mr. Janos who was the most helpful person and so willing to help and gave us the best recommendations, including best running route!!! I arrived at 7am and was able to change and go for a run before my room was ready as early as 11am!! Thank you for that!!!! Back to the negative: My room didn’t have a bath (my friend’s on the same floor did 🥲) and the furniture was old and kind of sad. The worst was the shower. It was so tiny and badly designed that it was impossible to use the shampoo without getting it all washed away. Breakfast was very good, specially if you are an early bird like me and can enjoy the 7am opening service with fresh bread, amazing eggs and the cauliflower which was my ultimate favorite!! All in all, pleasant stay, made much better by Janos!!!!!

I really enjoyed this hotel. I chose the room with a little kitchenette, but a daily buffet breakfast was also available. There’s also an Aldi’s ( supermarket) next door, which was a nice surprise. The garden was lovely, each staff person I encountered was the was kind and welcoming. I was able to use the laundry room for free. There was an indoor pool that looked nice, but I didn’t use it. The neighbourhood was quiet and there were convenience stores, restaurants and coffee shops a short walk away. It’s also just five minute walk to a subway/tram/or bus stations. I highly recommend this hotel and hope I’ll have a chance to go back and stay there again.

I have stayed at Danubius chain in Budapest before, Helia which is a spa hotel. This is more of a business location being beside the Puskas Arena and the M2 subway line and the 1 Tram line which gives multiple transit options if not using a hire vehicle or taxi. Breakfast was very decent, service attentive and professional. The room was clean with a few minor issues ie bathtub not draining quickly, furniture showing age (I understand so not an issue) and the facilities very good for my purpose - large gym with all required equipment, smaller pool but still permitted laps and a sauna all of which I used each day. As my last day had me leaving before breakfast, I was provided with a takeaway bag. All much appreciated. Front desk very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay very much.

The hotel generally felt quite dated. We stayed on the 6th floor, and the showerhead couldn't be fixed to the wall, which made showering very inconvenient. After the first night of our two-night stay, we spoke with the staff, and thankfully, they moved us to a different room. The breakfast area has two sections. If guest numbers are low, only section B is open, which results in a rather limited and mediocre breakfast spread. Section A was a bit more acceptable. While walking to tourist attractions was quite a distance, bus access was convenient.

The hotel is more like a vacation home. The restaurant is open only for breakfast. It's closed after breakfast. The bar is closed. There's no cafe. The rooms are very cramped. The bathrooms are extremely tight, barely big enough for one person. The larger ones in the photos are few and far between. Breakfast is good. Unfortunately, chlorinated pools are available in the hotel next door, which is connected by an underground tunnel. The restaurant and cafe are already open in the hotel next door, but everything resembles a spa from the 1980s. The location on the island is very nice. Peaceful, with lots of greenery, old trees, and birdsong. The center is almost a 2-kilometer walk away, but there's a bus stop near the hotel.

For the price I paid, I expected better. The facilities felt standard and the island itself offered nothing special for me. The facial was just okay, though I did have good experiences with the massage and mud wrap services. Breakfast looked fantastic, but unfortunately the taste didn’t live up to the presentation. During my trip, I stayed at four different hotels across Budapest. This was the most expensive, yet it’s the one I would rate the lowest.

RRumpunchqueenMy recent stay at the Kozmo Hotel Suites and Spa in Budapest was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the experience was luxurious and flawless. Here’s why this hotel deserves all five stars: 1. Warm Welcome and Check-in: Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly and attentive staff who immediately made us feel at home. The check-in process was seamless, and they provided us with a helpful overview of the hotel’s amenities, spa services, and nearby attractions. The lobby itself is stunning, with modern decor and a welcoming atmosphere. 2. The Room: We stayed in one of the Kozmo Rooms, which was beautifully appointed with elegant, contemporary furnishings. The spaciousness of the room was impressive, with a separate living area, a comfortable king-size bed, and floor-to-ceiling windows that offered breathtaking views of the city. The room was immaculately clean, and the design was both stylish and practical. Every detail, from the plush linens to the luxurious bathroom amenities, screamed luxury. 3. The Spa: The spa at Kozmo Hotel is truly a hidden gem! After long days of exploring the city, we treated ourselves to a massage and some time in the sauna. The staff at the spa were professional and the treatments were incredibly relaxing. The heated pool and whirlpool were the perfect spots to unwind, and the ambiance in the spa area was tranquil, with soft lighting and calming music. 5. Location: The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Budapest. It’s situated in the heart of the city, within walking distance to many of the major attractions, including the Danube River, Parliament, and St. Stephen’s Basilica. There are also plenty of cafés and shops nearby, making it easy to experience the best of Budapest’s culture and cuisine. 6 Exceptional Service: What truly sets Kozmo Hotel apart is the level of service. Every staff member we encountered was courteous, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay. They provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities, and they were always ready to assist with any request we had. Final Thoughts: Kozmo Hotel Suites and Spa is the perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and top-tier service. Whether you’re visiting Budapest for leisure or business, this hotel provides a luxurious retreat in the heart of the city. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly five-star experience. We can’t wait to return!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel staff were incredibly friendly and professional, from the moment we arrived at the hotel entrance, through check-in, and all the way to check-out and luggage handling. Every service was polite and attentive. The hotel breakfast was quite rich, with à la carte options, and the fruit was delicious. The room size was quite large for European standards, and housekeeping was prompt and thorough. The only minor drawback was that the shower facilities in the room were a bit old-fashioned and the drainage wasn't great.

GGuest UserExcellent hotel, the staff in general, both receptionists, waiters and maids are very friendly and helpful, the room is very comfortable, the bed is very comfortable. The location is very good, very central with all the facilities within walking distance. The breakfast is small but excellent, very complete with a wide variety of fruits, vegetables and typical Hungarian food options. The pool is great, heated and with long hours (open until 10:00 p.m.). After a long day it's wonderful to be able to take a bath. 100% recommendable
