Struttura molto particolare, pulita e bella, ma il servizio da 5* non esiste: -Abbiamo dovuto chiamare per organizzare il parcheggio dell’auto e nessuno rispondeva, siamo stati richiamati. -arrivati all’hotel abbiamo richiesto la possibilità di fare un massaggio di coppia nella spa ( dal sito si percepiva fosse all’interno dell’hotel invece è convenzionata presso altro hotel) siamo riusciti a prenotare solamente alla sera per il giorno successivo nonostante la nostra pressione. -alle ore 19 si chiede la possibilità per bere un drink presso l’hotel e la risposta è negativa giustificata dall’inizio orario cena - colazione non da hotel a 5*, poco personale per richieste bevande calde

The hotel is located in the ancient city of Matera. The hotel's lobby, restaurant, and guest rooms are all designed with the original characteristics of the cave. When I open the wooden windows in the room, I can see the landmark architectural landscape of the ancient cave city. The room is fully heated. If it is time If enough, you can make an appointment for a SPA. It is very convenient to go out and visit the ancient city.

Excellent Hotel with a amazing view and room! The lady in the front desk was excellent w great recommendations for us. Nadi restaurant was YUM! Out stay was perfect and the room was spacious and very unique and comfortable! My stay was amazing! Shower was great! Breakfast was very nice too!

Amazing hotel view, the whole village i loved so much we stayed there for one night. The hotel reception it self was hard to find and the rooms were separated from the main building. The room was great and the view was incredible.receptionist who spoke english was so welcoming and kind escorted us to our room in no time. The service was a bit low and breakfast was not rich of choices at all. Other than that i would defiantly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Heraclea has all the potentials to be a great hotel and offering an memorable stay. But it was a rather disappointing stay. Management and staff should wake up an reflect on al lot of things. But it isn’t all bad. Rooms are large and kept very tidy, breakfast is more than satisfying and offering a nice mix of Italian and more Northern ingredients. Dinner is nice as well. But. Staff is friendly but lame. The bartender is not always on top of things but like the others, tries hard. This hotel is big. But I have been to hospitals with far more warmth an coziness than the entrance, hallways and rooms, which are rather cold and basic. Rooms are noisy as well. One can hear too much from the adjacent rooms, let alone the one above. Most shocking experience was the welcome drink. Sounds nice and sympathetic. But offering some tiny drops (2cm?) of Italy’s finest prosecco in an even tiny plastic cup was flat-out embarrassing. A refill was hard to get, staff ignored the guests. Management should be ashamed (foremost for the plastic cups)! This of course, is an occasion on the side, but it is quite representative for the whole stay. With summer season on its way, they really should get their act together.

We had a wonderful time at La Suite. It was a last minute switch from a luxury hotel too far out of town. We were so lucky to have found la Suite. It was a great location just off the pedestrian area, easy to walk anywhere, the Sassi entry points and the many good restaurants in Matera. Particularly handy in the recurrent rain we faced. The staff were very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants etc. Its a great base in Matera. Only hiccup was a bit slow breakfast on the last day when they didn't have many guests and everyhing had to be pre-ordered and a slight miscommunication on the laundry - it showed up finally. All in all a lovely place.

We chose the quarry Dujia Village. It was very correct. If there is a car, book a parking space one day in advance, and then a special person will pick us up and arrive at the hotel. It is very beautiful. The room is clean and bright. The scenery outside the window is amazing. It is beautiful. All the service staff of the hotel are very perfect. The waiter who helped me with my luggage was enthusiastic. We ate at the hotel in the evening and had delicious food. Special thanks to the staff who served us. Because of their service, we were very happy and satisfied. The next morning we had breakfast at the hotel. The service of the service staff made us feel very comfortable again. It is a great hotel. It is definitely a five-star standard. We will definitely come back next time.

What a special experience it was staying here. Our room was a renovated cave room that mixed traditional local architecture with tastefully done modern convenience. The breakfast room was also a beautiful room, with access to old underground cisterns that the hotel owner preserved (very interesting to see, and a nice bonus to staying here). The food was terrific, with generous portions. But the real treat in staying here was the lovely owner who made the rounds greeting guests at breakfast. We learned a lot talking with him, and his warmth and hospitality clearly sets the tone for the entire staff, all of whom were excellent, and were exceptionally helpful (including phoning numerous restaurants to find us a table on a busy night). All in all, a lovely, peaceful, hotel that treats its guests very well.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, but is very comfortable and very professional at the reception. Abundant breakfast, with all God's goods, served by two nice ladies who have suffered my demands for thee and for lactose and foamless cappuccino! 😁 The rooms are very clean thanks to Mrs Alba who not only made the room a mirror, but also folded me the shirts left by me in trouble. In conclusion, recommended structure with honest prices with maximum cleanliness and staff at the level of the situation.

Premetto che la mia recensione ( comunque positiva ) è strettamente personale e si basa sul confronto di questa struttura con altri Hotel 4 stelle dove ho soggiornato. Ho prenotato in questo hotel dove mio figlio avrebbe sostenuto un concorso il giorno successivo, giunto nei paraggi a momenti saltavo l'uscita dalla superstrada a causa di indicazioni carenti, inoltre il parcheggio abbastanza ampio di fronte alla struttura era completamente buio così come l'insegna e le uniche luci ” piuttosto tenui ” erano quelle del pergolato dell'ingresso. All'interno confermo l'impressione di latente penombra, zona hall abbastanza illuminata ma il resto del vasto salone non beneficia della stessa irradiazione nonostante le zone siano dotate di diversi corpi illuminanti. Gli Addetti alla reception si sono sempre dimostrati altamente professionali , cortesi e gentili ( come già in precedenza per via telefonica ). Nella hall sono presenti 2 ampi ascensori per l'accesso ai piani. Preso possesso della camera, la stessa si presentava abbastanza spaziosa per un letto matrimoniale + lettino, pulita, dotata di 1 sedia e 1 poltroncina, con frigobar variamente rifornito ( con prezzi degli articoli piuttosto alti ), mobile con comodo piano d'appoggio, armadio capiente, specchio, cassaforte, telefono, tv da 32 pollici, aria condizionata , pavimento in moquette . Segnalo la presenza di numerose prese elettriche per smartphone e pc, e di una buona rete wifi. Ottima l'insonorizzazione, pur essendo accanto alla superstrada non si percepiva alcun rumore del passaggio dei veicoli o delle camere attigue. Il bagno, molto bello, rivestito in marmo con vasca e pannello vetrato per la doccia , sanitari, ampio specchio ( più specchietto regolabile ) ben illuminato , asciugacapelli , vari asciugamani, teli, kit bagno shampoo/bagnoschiuma e saponette, il tutto comunque ben pulito e ordinato. Nonostante un ottima prima impressione, a ben osservare si notava una certa ” stanchezza ” della tinteggiatura della stanza di un giallino deprimente, e numerosi segni di gocce d'acqua sul pavimento in marmo e sulle fasce scure di contorno al grande specchio in bagno. In stanza erano presenti i cartellini ” Non disturbare ” e dei moduli dove è possibile indicare le preferenze per la colazione in camera, il listino prezzi del frigobar, e un piccolo notes con penna per gli appunti. L'illuminazione della camera era garantita da lampade a tonalità gialla che notoriamente generano ombre e scarsa definizione ( ma questi sono gusti personali ). Per il servizio di colazione in camera è previsto un sovrapprezzo che sconosco, la stessa viene servita nell'area ristorante, trattasi di colazione continentale anche se mi è parso di vedere alcuni cibi salati. Sempre per opinione personale il caffè non è dei migliori. E' possibile cenare al costo di 30 euro per persona ( mezza pensione ) o ” alla carta ” , non è disponibile il pranzo. Per il pagamento sono accettate tutte le carte ed ovvi
