This charming hotel surpassed my expectations in every aspect, offering a serene atmosphere, impeccable service, and a memorable stay. First and foremost, the location of Munakata Resort Hotel is simply idyllic. Situated at 651-2 Konominato, it provides a peaceful retreat surrounded by the natural beauty of Munakata. The hotel is nestled amidst lush greenery and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. It felt like a hidden oasis, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the attentive and friendly staff, who made me feel instantly at ease. Their genuine hospitality and personalized service left a lasting impression. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone went out of their way to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. The accommodation at Munakata Resort Hotel was exceptional. My room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and meticulously maintained. The comfortable bed and luxurious amenities provided a true sense of relaxation and indulgence. The attention to detail in room décor and amenities was evident, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. The hotel's location is super convenient, right at Hakata Station. You can directly access JR and Shinkansen lines from B1. Popular spots like Musashi Wagyu Rice are right across the street from the 1st-floor exit, and the famous sheep cheese toast is just a 6-minute walk away. The hotel's cleanliness is also excellent, and the rooms are quite spacious for Japan. It's definitely a top choice for family trips!

The Rihga Royal Hotel Kokura is my top choice for any trip to Kitakyushu! The elevated walkway directly connects to the JR Kokura Shinkansen entrance, making transfers to and from Fukuoka and Beppu incredibly convenient, and you don't have to worry about getting wet on rainy days. Compared to most hotels in Japan, the rooms here are exceptionally spacious. The floor-to-ceiling windows on higher floors offer expansive views, and watching the Kitakyushu city nightscape in the evening is truly therapeutic. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with soft and quiet bedding. The hotel offers a wide range of dining options, and the buffet breakfast is comprehensive, featuring many Kyushu-specific flavors. The staff are polite and attentive, and the overall ambiance is elegant and grand. It's perfect for both business and leisure travelers. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Kitakyushu.

The Okura Hotel has a great location. Its back exit leads directly to a bustling area, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The room itself isn't very spacious, and the facilities are a bit dated. The cleanliness isn't as meticulous as it used to be. However, the bed and pillows are comfortable, and the internet connection is excellent, which is a big plus for a smaller room.

This was my first time staying here. I think all the necessary amenities for a stay are provided. The highlight seems to be that planes fly directly overhead. They are quite close. However, there are no flights after 10 PM, so it's not a problem. On the other hand, it faces a busy main road with a lot of traffic, and there is noise, especially from speeding vehicles and police sirens. The building looks old, so the soundproofing may be insufficient. The nearest convenience store is a bit of a distance away, as you have to cross the main road. However, there is a Don Quijote nearby, so you can do some light shopping. The spa has a small bathtub. The sauna might be full with just three people in it. Swimsuits are required, but you can rent them for 500 yen. There are changing rooms, but no toilets or water dispensers. There is a limousine parked at the main entrance, and it seems that it can be used for pick-up and drop-off, but I didn't confirm this. It's supposed to be a resort, but it feels like only this area has a resort feel. There are some shared cooking facilities, so it might be suitable for groups.

This is an older hotel chain, and I chose it this time because the first hotel I stayed at in Japan over a decade ago was a Nikko. I haven't picked it in a long time, so I wanted to try it again, purely for nostalgic reasons. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation, and the service remains good. However, during this stay, they were undergoing exterior renovations, which meant I couldn't open the curtains, making the room feel a bit claustrophobic. The hotel didn't mention this special circumstance on the booking platform, nor did they inform me during check-in. They also didn't offer to move me to a room not affected by the renovations or provide any other form of compensation. The complete lack of communication and options is truly unacceptable. This is a perfect getaway hotel resort, highly recommended for couples only. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I would only recommend staying here if you’re driving as I find it more convenient to get to other dining places which are mostly nearer to the city area. The resort provides free parking onsite. This is a spectacular stay. It’s quiet and feels almost like we’re staying alone in the whole resort, it might be due to the low-peak winter season when I visit. The sea view is gorgeous! The room comes with a jacuzzi tub with ambient lights perfect for a couple’s pleasant night vibe. The staff allows us to bring the drinks up to our room, so it’s perfect with the jacuzzi. The room is also spacious, accompanied by a balcony facing the seas. Amenities provided were top-notched, with Bvlgari body soaps, shampoo and lotion, along with Reva Hairdryer. The resort seems like a very beautiful wedding venue by the seas, so it feels pretty romantic and relaxing. I would definitely return.

5 star review Grand Hyatt Fukuoka was a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The hotel is directly connected to Canal City Hakata, which makes it extremely convenient for shopping, dining and walking around Fukuoka. The location is excellent, especially for tourists who want everything nearby without needing to travel too far. The room was clean, spacious and well maintained, with a very comfortable bed and a relaxing atmosphere after a long day out. Service from the hotel staff was professional, polite and attentive throughout the stay. Check in and check out were smooth, and the overall hospitality felt premium. Overall, Grand Hyatt Fukuoka gave us a very pleasant 5 star hotel experience. Great location, comfortable room and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Fukuoka.

It's a resort-style hotel. It feels very comfortable. The room is large enough, the view is open, and it has a balcony. The balcony is also equipped with a sofa and mosquito killer lamp. The bathroom has a massage pool big enough for two people.

The room was spacious, and the transportation was decent. There's a supermarket nearby, and you can walk to the beach. The only downside is that the decor is a bit dated, but otherwise, it's pretty good.
