Hotels With Pools in Osaka Prefecture, Japan

Right next to the busiest tourist area in Osaka and with access to large number of facilities., Spaworld is surely a top choice to stay. But actually, the day ticket only costs 1500 yen and overnight staying fee is 1300 yen, which means you don't really need to stay in the hotel to use everything and stay for a night, kind of like a SPA net cafe. The plus for using the hotel is that you allow yourself to enter anytime you want.

This is my second time in Osaka, and I chose the Waldorf Astoria again. The room facilities are excellent, and it's super convenient to walk to all the major department stores in Umeda from the hotel's underground access. However, the breakfast was quite disappointing. Apart from congee, there were no other Japanese food options at the breakfast buffet, only an à la carte set. While it was very refined, for the price, there should definitely be more Japanese food options included in the buffet.

This is my second time staying here, and the experience was fantastic. The hotel facilities and service are extremely attentive. I chose a room with a view of Osaka Castle, and the brilliant illumination of the Osaka Castle Keep over the weekend was simply amazing.

The hotel is very close to Umeda, so much so that I could still squeeze in some sightseeing in the morning before my afternoon flight. The location gets a big thumbs up! 👍🏾👍🏾 Even a standard room offers beautiful city views. 👍🏾👍🏾 However, aside from two bottles of mineral water, no other complimentary drinks were provided. 😶

+The location was really nice, very serene with lots of mountains surrounding the ryokan; +Relatively easy to access (pretty far from Osaka, but close to the train station); +Staff speaks English, so you shouldn't have issues with communication; +They have a lot of instructions/maps/manuals on how to fully enjoy the ryokan, so you shouldn't have trouble figuring out the basics. ~Food was mostly ok, nothing bad or spectacular, good portions; ~Although they do have some SPA elements, it's really not a lot (basically nothing except hot springs and massage) -It's certainly on the older side (not in the sense of it being particularly historical, rather that it would benefit from some renovations), but maybe that adds to the ambiance for some people; -The actual inn territory is rather small, so you won't have much to explore without going outside. Overall, I think it's a good first ryokan to familiarize yourself with the culture a bit, but I wouldn't necessarily refer to it as particularly impressive/authentic experience.

The location is extremely convenient. If you're looking for an old-school hotel vibe, you might find it here, but the facilities are really outdated – I couldn't stand them. The showerhead was in the bathtub and there was no separate shower, which was a real deal-breaker for me. I'll definitely stick to newer hotels from now on. The Japanese restaurant on the fifth floor was pretty good; I had sushi for a reasonable price, with 16k and 26k options available.

I loved the view of this hotel from the outside and well as the view from my room. But what I DID NOT LIKE WAS THE BED. The bed was HARDDDDD. Loved the heated toilet seats, and the public bath (it was my first time doing that), the PJ set was nice too, you wear them to the public bath and in the room no where else. They provide you with information on how to properly use the public bath.The room was a decent size for the area. 8 min walk from the subway. 20 min walk from Osaka Castle. The area itself is VERY CALM, not to much going on aside from Osaka Castle.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve stayed here. This might just be my favorite hotel in the world. It’s true, it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. But once you pass through the entrance tunnel, you’re transported to another world, even though you’re still in Osaka. This time, I was on a blue floor. Despite the heat outside, it felt like the temperature dropped by 5°C. The elevator was neon pink. I was greeted with a warm “Welcome back.” And I replied, “I’m home.” I was on the top floor, the 27th, on the Midosuji side, my favorite pink floor. Odd-numbered floors are pink, even-numbered are blue. Soon after, Jack brought my luggage. As always, he pulled my stopper from his breast pocket. Thank you. “Midosuji is all mine!” I declared, and then it was bath time. I headed to WET on the 4th floor. I read a book by the poolside, then soaked in the jacuzzi, repeating the cycle. Later, I had a French 75 at LIVING ROOM, served by Mr. Yajima. The Mexican dish I often order had been slightly revamped and was even more delicious. Back in my room, it was bath time again. Oh? Extra towels, bath salts, skincare, and a chair! Ah, I remember mentioning it last time. The chair wasn't quite what I had in mind, though. After that, I fell into a deep sleep, so no turndown service this time. Oh! Their laundry service is excellent here. I always have my high-end brand T-shirts cleaned here. It costs almost 10,000 yen locally, which is a bit much. They even managed to remove a stain from a skirt that H Nagoya couldn't get out. It’s not cheap, there’s no lounge, and no gym. But I absolutely love it. Thank you always, see you again.

If you're visiting Osaka, I highly recommend the InterContinental Osaka. This was my second stay, occupying room 2207 for five consecutive nights, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in the city. The hotel boasts an excellent location in the heart of the Umeda business district. It's directly connected indoors to various surrounding shopping malls, making it incredibly convenient for browsing, shopping, and dining. Getting a taxi is also very easy. The hotel is very friendly towards Chinese guests, with Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, ensuring smooth communication. The rooms are cleaned meticulously every day, and the attention to detail in their service is delightful. Housekeeping even carefully coiled and organized scattered charging cables. The mini-bar offers a great variety, and the coffee quality is excellent. Breakfast is incredibly rich and delicious, with different Osaka-specific dishes every day! While hotel rooms in Japan are generally small, the rooms here are exceptionally spacious. Not only is the bedroom expansive, but there's also a separate bathroom and walk-in closet. For our family of three, we had plenty of space even with four suitcases. All the staff are warm and attentive. During checkout, the Japanese female staff member at the front desk was particularly friendly and provided thoughtful service, leaving us feeling truly valued. Overall, the stay was a perfect experience, and I highly recommend it for families traveling to Osaka.

I absolutely love this hotel! It's a newly opened hotel, and the staff are incredibly enthusiastic. They allowed us to check in early and even arranged for our two rooms to be next to each other, which was a very thoughtful touch. The room tour was very detailed, and the room design blends modern aesthetics with Japanese elements – the tatami by the window is a fantastic feature. The hotel is located north of Osaka Castle. If you choose an Osaka Castle view room, you can directly see the castle, with the main keep clearly visible and directly facing you. We stayed on the 7th floor this time, and it felt like we had a perfect eye-level view. To the west of the hotel are the Osaka Museum of History and Naniwa Palace Site Park. There's also a subway station nearby, and a line of taxis waiting at the entrance, making getting around very convenient. To reach the rooms, you need to go to the 20th-floor lobby first, then transfer to another elevator to go down to your room (there's also a slightly more convenient route through the 4th-floor gym). On the first floor of the hotel, there's a popular patisserie that attracts many local women. The hotel breakfast is a combination of buffet and à la carte options. The à la carte menu includes excellent Chinese, Western, and Japanese specialties. There are always several taxis waiting at the hotel entrance, so it's very convenient if you need to take a cab.
