Hotel Whistlelark is honestly a good hotel for a comfortable stay and is definitely value for money.Has everything you need.Coin Laundry, friendly staff that speaks english, good location and relatively modern rooms.Located near Ocean Suites like a 5 minute walk (is way cheaper than Ocean Suites) which is popular pickup point for nearly all tours in Jeju.Free refill of water on the 2nd floor also.
One complaint I have:The laundry is 24 hours but the light gets switched off after 10pm so that's something that could be fixed. Was working in semi darkness....
Other than that had an amazing stay and would pick here again if I came to Jeju!

Our flight back from Jeju Island was early in the morning, so I booked the Lotte City Hotel near the airport. It's about a five or six-minute drive, and a taxi only cost around 20-25 RMB. Getting a taxi even at 5 AM was very convenient. The front desk staff were all very friendly. Downstairs, there's a Lotte Duty Free shop, though it doesn't have a huge selection. If you go out and turn right at the small intersection, there's an Olive Young, which is handy for restocking. The Shilla Duty Free is only about a ten-minute walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants along the way.

The location of this hotel is very convenient for tourists, with major attractions and duty-free shopping areas within walking distance. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend it.

At check-in it was very welcoming
Unfortunately Staffs working there weren't very informative Couldn't give me answers about making local phone calls from room even i was willing to pay if they had to, I end up using taxi drivers phone to confirm reservations.
And asked to check out late till 4 or 5pm but they had to charge full amount and when I was there to check out, front staff asked 10000 Korean Won more, $7-$10 would not make much difference but than why i feel i was overcharged and that made me feel unpleasant
I expected good food here but it wasn't fascinaingt or any special.
Worst of all when I was off from taxi or getting taxi, men working(doormen) outside would not call taxi for me nor help handling my bags or luggage
Very different from most of other hotel in Korea
Am I going to use any of Silla Hotel service?
More likely never will happen

I came to Jeju for a 3-day relaxing getaway, and this hotel exceeded all my expectations.
My main criterion when choosing a hotel was having a swimming pool, as I really wanted to swim but wasn’t sure whether the sea would already be warm enough. The rooftop pool was perfect for both swimming and relaxing after my hike up Hallasan. The views of the ocean were stunning, and on my first evening I was even able to watch fireworks over Saeyeongyo Bridge directly from the pool.
The location is excellent, especially for travelers without a car. I do not have a driver’s license and relied entirely on public transportation during my stay. The hotel is surrounded by bus stops, and I was able to reach Hallasan and Jeju Airport by limousine bus without transfers. The airport bus stop is almost right in front of the hotel entrance.
My room was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed, including slippers, towels, bathrobes, and toiletries. The view from the room was beautiful, overlooking the park, waterfalls, the ocean, and Saeseom Island.
The hotel also has a CU convenience store, a yoga room, and a fitness center. Breakfast is available as a buffet with a mix of Korean and Western dishes. Even though I arrived close to the end of breakfast service, there was still plenty of food available and I was able to put together a well-balanced meal.
What impressed me most was the kindness of the staff. I asked one of the receptionists for recommendations on beaches and seafood restaurants, and she kindly printed out a detailed list that the hotel staff had prepared specifically for guests.
I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Jeju.

This hotel is right by the sea with unbeatable ocean views. It's also very close to the airport. However, getting to tourist attractions by public transport isn't very convenient, as you need to transfer. It's quite close to Qixing Street, though. The service was pretty good. My daughter got sick right after we arrived, and I asked the front desk staff for advice on the emergency room. Later, a local Chinese tour guide told me we picked the right hospital, so I'm very grateful to the front desk guy. The room we stayed in was nice, and hygiene was good. The only thing I couldn't understand is why there wasn't a single power outlet in the bathroom; I had to go outside to blow-dry my hair.

The room wasn't huge, but the bathroom was very clean, which made it feel fresh. The facilities were simple but functional. The walls were a bit thin though, as I could hear conversations from the next room. The hotel is very close to Jeju Airport, less than a 10-minute taxi ride away. Breakfast was a bit pricey, but the quality was decent with a good variety of typical Japanese and Korean breakfast items.
Nice hotel room, spacious and clean. Staff were able to communicate well in English. Lots of choices for food and there is a convenient store inside the hotel compound. Went to the theme park and the rides were quite fun. The zoo needed to pay extra and I did not think its worth it.

Getting here from the city center involves taking bus 510 and then about a ten-minute walk. However, there's a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it very convenient for exploring attractions near Seogwipo. They offer luggage storage, even utilizing a disused restaurant space specifically for this. The sea view rooms are well-located; I'd recommend requesting a higher floor for the best views, as my room was on the fifth. The room itself was just average; it felt quite cramped with two suitcases opened, and the plush carpet looked a bit tired. The bathroom had a shower, which I actually liked as it's quite uncommon in Jeju. There's an infinity pool on the 7th floor, though it does incur an extra charge. While the front desk staff's English was passable, most communication was still in Korean. Overall, it felt like a domestic budget hotel with a sea view, which is understandable given the price point.
I went there for the hot springs, and they were, of course, excellent. The location is also fantastic for sightseeing, with Bonte Museum, Bangju Church, and Biotopia nearby. Camellia Hill is just a 5-minute drive away, so I really got to relax amidst nature. The breakfast was also great value for money. I plan to go back with my friends. I even got to see a lot of stars at night, which was a nice change.

AAnonymous UserExceeded expectations! This was the best value for money I found for a two-night stay in Jeju. Other places at a similar price point had tiny rooms, but this one had a great location and a fantastic view from a much more spacious room. I'd definitely stay here again. Being right outside the door for shopping and food was super convenient.

DDuoduobuduoVI have to say, it was seeing pictures of this hotel's infinity pool online that immediately made me book a flight to Jeju Island. The weather was perfect, and it was totally worth the trip. From the doorman to the front desk, the service was excellent and very welcoming. We stored our luggage and kept bothering the bellboys to get things out of our bags and change clothes, but the Korean staff enthusiastically helped us every time without any hint of impatience. Check-in wasn't until 3 PM, and we arrived at 11 AM. We went out for some BCH fried chicken, and when we came back before 2 PM, the front desk let us check into our room early. We didn't book a sea view because we spent all our time at the pool. We swam during the day and went back at night – the pool lighting at night was absolutely stunning. We only got back to the room at 10 PM and just went straight to sleep, which saved us some money. Although the room wasn't huge, it was very quiet, and the bedding was super comfortable and clean; I slept really well. The transportation is extremely convenient; the 600 bus is 4500 KRW per person, point-to-point to and from the airport. A taxi to the Jusangjeolli Cliff was also very convenient, only 6000 KRW. Most of the guests were Korean, not many Chinese. The brunch right outside the hotel is absolutely delicious. The hotel's boardwalk is also beautiful, leading straight down to a beach.
GGuest UserThe hygiene was good, and the owner was very welcoming. However, the room facilities were a bit old-fashioned, and the vintage wood grain decor wasn't really to my taste. The sea view from the floor-to-ceiling window was fantastic, but you do need to be mindful of privacy. Otherwise, no issues.

GGuest UserFirst of all - the perfect stay, favouriting. This is pretty much a two-floor townhouse with widest possible 3 bed rooms and all facilities included (plus three toilets and bath-tube). Very warm at winter. Very enjoyable stay.
A bit of details. The unit is a part of mini-city of similar houses around. It is built right in the forest. The architects were brave enough to keep original trees around, so your windows are looking directly into the forest - with all the singing birds, tree branches nearly touch your windows (btw, the third photo is from one of the windows). It is very silent place, with breathtaking volcano views.
From facilities point of view, the project looks like suffered from financial hardship - most of the things in the minicity that were planned - are still on the plan or were outsourced to another companies (though, I am sure, once the project is completed - the price will double at least). There is no restaurant as such (at the time of writing), at or even around the place; swimming pool is largely incomplete. The BBQ mini-room in the center of the house (which is directly under naked sky) totally rot beyond repair, but I admire designers decision to build it. Never saw anything like this before. I bet it can be rebuilt.
Deliveries to that area does not work - too far. So if you hungry at night - you don't have too much of options than a ramyon or cooking yourself (saying this, we discovered 이승악식당 next door - saved us greatly at lunch time). Gym equipment looked very rich, though the gym room is a bit disproportional in size - barely fits it all. Btw, we found a great table tennis table there.
Overall it's a great civilization escape. Few things to be planned ahead but waking up by the sun shining directly to your eyes - unbeatable. I believe it's the one, where wife's and husband's opinions differ :).
GGuest UserVery good hotel. It’s not close to airport, but the distance is not that long (by taxi). Ordered taxi using airport wi-fi, payed by cash. Very nice receptionists. Clean room, pool on the roof with a nice view. There were not many people (in July). We arrived late but it wasn’t a problem to check in and there is a shop nearby which works at night. There are also some cafes and bars around. Beach is very close, you can go by walk. There are also restaurants and bars on the way. 100% good choice even if you stay for 2 nights.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a resort, a bit far from the city center, but you can get here by bus route 255. The Giant's Causeway is relatively close, about a 90 RMB taxi ride one way. My ground-floor room has a 'small garden,' but I felt it lacked privacy, as people on the higher floors opposite seemed able to see into my room. The front desk service was average. Shopping downstairs is convenient, but the brand selection isn't extensive, and the resort's restaurants are quite pricey.
MmofeadThe room itself was decent, and you could see the ocean right from it. The location is good, just about a ten-minute taxi ride from Aewol-eup. There's a CU convenience store downstairs, which is really handy for buying things. There's also a Starbucks about 100-200 meters away on foot. The sea view from downstairs is pretty nice too. The only downside is that the room facilities are a bit old; the sliding door to the toilet was a bit broken and sometimes wouldn't open.
